My husband is disabled and we called prior to our trip to find out what was needed etc for our trip. He went through the entire process obtained a letter from his MD and submitted it. We waited on the phone for days and never were able to get in touch with anyone. Upon arrival we went to customer service and they told my Husband he could RENT a wheelchair! How insulting to someone with a disability that you can pay us more money for a wheelchair to accommodate you. We were also told all rides were up to date with gentle inclines in all rides with no stairs to climb!
You are definitely not Disney where he is given a fast pass for the rides due to him not being able to stand in long lines for long periods of time. He has to take a lot of breaks and you have no areas really for those who need to rest in these horrific lines. Every ride we rode had steps unlike what customer service stated, "that all rides had gentle inclines into them"
Your park was horribly busy we waited hours for rides that my Husband was so weak we almost had to call for assistance to leave since you offered no help.
We spoke with another visitor who went through the same process had a card issued for his entire visit where he had the fast pass for all rides. I am not sure what the actual crap is the problem there, lack of training, inability to post the process online, no one to answer the phone prior to arrival... But we went out of our way to follow the steps for your process with NO help from your company!
We spent thousands of dollars there, for a disabled person to be discriminated against is just horrific!
I will be telling everyone about your horrible service and lack of care for disabled. I hope many will not go to your park and instead go to the Disney parks where the disabled are accommodated!
Desired outcome: You should have to refund our tickets but I know that won't happen. You should send my husband some sort of apology! What a horrible park experience for those who already struggle with disabilities!
