Urban Planet horrible customer service

Today July 10th 2011, I was shopping in Surrey Central city mall at Urban Planet, when I moved to cashier, lady was busy, and asked me to went to another cashier, I moved there, and I was inline behind of couple who decided to continue shopping, there was also lady behind me with the same nationality as cashier,
When couple who was before me, continued to shop, cashier told me, not the person behind to move to cashier, who asked me previously to come to this cashier,
I told to cashier, that I was told to come here, from that cashier, and this cashier told me that she was busy now with couple who was before me, and was not going to serve me,
I put shopping parts and decided to move, just occasionally I turned back my head, i saw
1. Cashier is serving lady who was behind me, at the same moment
2. Store Manager, was laughing with cashier,

I returned back to store manager, and asked him, phone number to call her manager, she gave me phone, while she knew, noone from customer service was there as they did not work, weekends,
I asked store manager what she think about this situation, and she told she did not notice,
I told that I saw her laughing, but she did not admit, it.

I think, issue was caused by fact that cashier wanted to serve customer of her nationality faster, or herself, and thus told me to go back to cashier who send me previously to this cashier as she was busy (I confirm, another cashier was busy)
THe store manager, did tell anything to cashier, and even I saw they were laughing while I was moving away, so i assume store manager was aware about situation

I recently purchased an item the item was too small so I went to return it the person would only give me store credit not my money back which I wanted and even said it ... The woman didn't even speak English she had to ask her manager to translate for her, I was never told at the time of purchase that I can only return the item for store credit she only told me I had 2 weeks to return it ... Very angry about the customer service .. Now I am stuck with a pair of pants I can't even wear and lost 15$ ... Definitely not going back there clothes are overpriced for nothing

I was the Store Manager in this complaint. I apologize for your misconception, this is not at all what was actually happening at the time and I'm sorry you mistook the situation for something it was not. You were asked to kindly go to another register where the cashier was assigned, and at that time the cashiers were switching between breaks and another customer was served accidentally before yourself. There was a simple mix up between cashiers and which customer was first in line. I like to keep the staff and customers happy, laughing, and bubbly at all times, nobody was laughing at you or the mix-up in the order of which customers were in line first.

Purchased these boots from Urban Plantet in Saskatoon I am very very mad that I wore them ONCE and they wrecked...$40 to wear them once and they wreck? Very unimpressed money scam I deserve my money back !

I'm just confused... Are the Customer Service representatives not allowed to laugh? And maybe you should just learn to be patient. Yes you had to move sides and then wait and then another person got to go infront of you. So what? You want to complain to the company about that? What are they going to do? Give you a pat on the back? Congrats you did a good job waiting in line at a cheep store. If you want better customer serive shop somewhere else.

I have shopped at sirens many many times. For about 10 years now. I have never got "bad" customor service. Obviously it is a cheap store, so the service won't be a 100 percent, In my opinion you are considered an annoying customer. Obviously the girls that work at sirens are going to be a little fed up. They have to deal with cheap people all day long, crying about a dollar.

i was in the place d'orleans mall and me and my best friend went into the urban planet and bought these super cute pajama pants we bought them it costed us 22.00 so we paid brought them home and fell in love after we wore them for 20 minutes yeh thats right TWENTY MINUTES and they riped right down the middle! now we are sitting at home getting them soed we want our flippen mony back!

Urban Planet Bad customer service

My 9 yr old daughter and I went out X-mas shopping we had a great day until we went to Sirens.

She wanted to be a big girl and buy her aunt a sweater with her own money. So she ended up getting 2. Meanwhile I was standing outside the store waiting for her.

We walked away from the store, I thought hey stores normally give free gift boxes so I sent her in, she came out with a massive box. I said whoa that is way too big and she said yeah and I had to pay $1 so I sent her back in to get her money back because the box was too big.

The cahier said "No" to her so I went in. She said I can't give you back $1 in a very rude way rolling her eyes at us. I said relax she is 9 yrs old. The cashier said in a rude way rolling her eyes at us well if she is 9 maybe she shouldn't be doing this, totally upsetting my daughter.

She did not tell me until after we got into an argument that this was for charity which I was fine with but it was the way she treated my 9 yr old that I was not impressed with.

So I asked for a refund because I did not want to spend a dime there. She said we don't give refunds we only do exchanges and store credits. I was so angry I got the stupid store credit, forcing me to go back there again. X-mas shopping was not so much fun after that ordeal. My daughter and I were both upset.

With the CUSTOMER SERVICE I got from that store lets just say I will never shop there again!

I was at the Siren in Fairview mall Kitchener today. I never expected to face such horrible attitude. I asked one of the staff to give me the dress that i cant reach but she was sooooooo rude to ma and said the one at back will help you. I asked the other staff and she said the same. They were both so mad on me that why i asked them for help.
I was helped by another customer and she said that i should call costumer service but i was scared to ask for costumer service number. And the mall was going to be closed in half hour . This is not acceptable.
So the costumer seeive is really really poor and horrible and unprofessional.
I dont think if i can go back to this store again.

Had bad service at Sirens Guildford today. Two blazers on display but they don't have any nor would hey sell me the ones one the Mannequins cause they are display only - DISPLAYING SOMETHING YOU DON"T HAVE! I was buying for a group of dancers...guess we won't buy from there for our dances. What a loss for Sirens!

I went in to Sirens to at Upper Canada mall before heading back to University and was satisfied with the service at the store until I got to the counter to pay. My total came to 80 dollars and some change. When I pulled out my 100 dollar bill to pay, I was asked for ID and made to feel as if the purchases I was about to make were illegal. As far as i'm concerned, if they are so concerned with counterfeit bills, they should invest in either a counterfeit detector or have a currency expert on staff. I'll never shop there again, there are lots of other places to shop at, I hope they go broke.

I like Sirens, But i had a run in with them this weekend Nov 29/14 my price came to 40.00 I gave her a 100.00 dollar bill she asked me for i.d I said why and she said you need ID for a 100 dollar bill.
Why is this ?

As far as i know you can't counterfit this bill.
Why doesn"t the store have a scanner for this ?

I've been shopping at Sirens for years and have no complaints. It's the best store for me because their clothes fit me perfectly without me even having to try anything on... especially their dresses. This is my go-to spot when I need something quick and cute to go out partying, or business attire for job interviews or just cute boots, leggings or jeans. Also, the staff always seem very friendly and helpful. I mostly frequent the Mississauga Square One location and the Brampton Shopper's World location in CANADA.

I've shopped at Sirens a couple of times and I never had any problems with the service until I visited the one in Dufferin Mall @ Toronto, Ontario.
I was shopping for a dress and I found a really cute dress there but they only had one xs left. I wanted to check out the other stores before I purchase the dress. I came back 30 minutes later, only to find 1/3 of the rack was gone including my dress. Freaking out, I looked around the store and found them on the cashier counter. It was a small pile, about 10 dresses so I didn't take too long looking for my size. Unfortunately, my size was not there so someone must have bought it already. A few of the dresses at the top of the pile fell down when I was finished looking. I picked them up and tried to place them so that they wouldn't fall off. A lady then approached me and demanded, "What the hell are you doing?" Yes, she used those exact words towards me. Shocked and stunned, I tried to explain my situation to her but only to be brushed off as she was doing what she was doing. I don't have any customer experience myself but I don't think this is how customers should be treated. Truthfully, I was scared of someone yelling at me for going through the pile but there wasn't a "do not touch" sign or anything there. A coworker of hers noticed the situation and came to help me however she did not apologize on her behalf so I didn't look or purchase anything else because of this terrible experience. I will never set foot in that store ever again!

The customer service is horrible and unprofessional in all aspects. The first time I entered the store I found something I actually liked, one of the 4 managers in the Scarborough town locations tells me they will be receiving more the next day and she will put it on hold for myself. As I go in the next day, apparently they didn't come in. Then, I ask if there is another location that would have it, she calls another location and fi8nds one apparently. The other location is aware what size, colour I would like and had put it on hold for the next day since it was closed at the time...what the manager says. The following day I go to pick it up at the other location and apparently they didn't get any call to hold on to this product, nor was the store closing at that time. I call back Scarborough town center and are unaware of the manager that was spoken to myself. How many times is this store going to order things for myself and make myself drive around town while giving myself attitude. I am not irritated at the fact I did not get this product but the fact that they treat there customers horrible and tell them all different things against there policy.
The store doesn't care about you nor what you need, they want your money, that's it.

I agree and like I mentioned in my comment their workforce are all under 25. Clearly the headoffice (if one exists) the company will not invest in proper training to ensure satisfaction of their customers. I am 55 I like going to Sirens as I like to dress on trend (some of the short skirts & dresses are far too young for me) I like their tops jeans & shoes. Bottom line Ladies if you wish to continue shopping there you must get past their attitudes. They will not assist you. best to go in with the frame of mind SERVE YOURSELF. You will come out Tranquil and more Content!

Well, I didn't have too much trouble with swearing, but their clothes material sure are a huge rip off! I put on this really cute leather jacket from Sirens, and riiiip, there goes my 30 dollars. I had the same comments from my friends, too. Their matrieal is basically like paper! It rips so easily. The best thing you can do is to ignore that place and warn people that this shopping place is baaaaaad.

First off To the original comment. Yes, some stores charge for boxes. You should ask this before asking for one. Simple. And you got a store credit for your $1 box? You couldn't keep your box? Really? And your 9 year old daughter should be shopping there anyway. Shop somewhere age apopriate with her! Are you dressing her like a hooker?

To the 2nd comment. How were you acting towards these girls? Yes, the people who work at metrotown Sirens arn't very helpful, but i've been there and never been sworn at before, but then again i've never done anything mean towards them. Calling them ### isn't the best start. It's probably what makes you a hard customer to handel.

I know that and Sirens has the worst service

I 100% AGREE! SIRENS SHOULD BE REPORTED I went to the Sirens Metrotown and it was the WORST service i have seen. I was trying on a jacket and put my stuff on the floor, and the rude sales associate started rolling my stuff over with a clothing rack, she rolled it over and rudely asked me to move. I did and said nothing, i was thinking should u be in customer service? SHe has short blond hair, with pink highlights, a total [censor]! Then when i got home, i tried on the jacket and noticed a button missing, i called the metrtown store and i think the pink highlight girl answered, she rudely told me there was nothing i could do about it and when i politely asked one more quesiton she gave the phone onto a girl suggesting i was hard to handle and said "can u talk to this woman?" to the co-worker. The co-worker wouldn't give her name nor the last girl's name and told me to fcuk myself and hung up on the phone. They said their names were Karen and Jen, I do know from when I was in the store, that pink highlighted girl (i think should be fired) and an asian girl, could be 16 a teen. She kept saying with a cocky attitude i could call customer service "look it up online look it up online." it's like, buddy u work in the store, ask ur manager to talk with customers, and she was like "the manager isn't fcuking in." I was appauled at this behaviour of Sirens. I work in retail and it happens that my current manager used to be a manager at Sirens!, I will be sharing this story with her. Then I called Richmond and staff is great! apart from their assistant manager Meg, she's nasty, even the top manager agreed with me. This company's service sucks! I regularly shop at the Urban Planet, Suzy stores and find their service impecable! This service at Sirens is HORRIBLE. Sirens should be fired from being in business. Your workers are [censor]es, I hate it

The reason for the poor customer service is due to the fact their workforce are all under 25. Clearly the headoffice (if one exists) the company will not invest in proper training to ensure satisfaction of their customers. I am 55 I like going to Sirens as I like to dress on trend (some of the short skirts & dresses are far too young for me) I like their tops jeans & shoes. Urban Planet Worst customer service

Everytime i shop at sirens they always forget to *** the alarm thing attached in clothes from stealing.it has happened consistantly with me and couple of people i know in mississauga location.today i went back to take it off .after waiting for a while in front of cash register, inspite 3 employees around the area i had to call an employee to help me.i tried expressing my concern to the employee.that i dont like keep coming back to the store .why cant u guys be carefull about it.but i got a really strange behaviour from employee.instead of showing some regret she was laughing like an idiot.is that what you call customer bloody service.i am not spending my any penny in that store after today if that what i recieve instead of customer service.

The customer service I just received at Sirens Fashion Park Royal is shocking. To the point that I suggest that people stop waisting their hard earned money at this business. I went in looking for clothes to wear at the extended job training that I am being sent to. While in a rush I picked out 3 items to buy. While the debt machine was processing my payment it gave me time to realize one of the items I didn't actually need. At any other place of business this wouldn't have been an issue. They either could have post voided the transaction or just refund me the money. At Sirens they refused to do this and said they could only give me a store credit. I hadn't even left the cash register at this point. So I asked to speak to a manager. The person who I was talking to said they are the manager. As a person who has work multiple retail jobs with many different cash handling systems I know for a fact they could give me the money back if they wanted to because they need to be able to incase someone gets over charged. She said the only thing I could do was call there customer service hot line. Which no one ever picks up.

I went to sirens earlier this month and i got a $10 pair of tights i loved them they where soft on the inside and not to ruff on the out side. i wear them once than washed them. when i went to wear them for a dinner tonight they where itchy material on the out side and itchy and rough on the inside. lets just say i would rather go to walmart and get a cheap pair of tights then ever shop here again

I agree, I went to Markville Mall after boxing day with my mom, My mom was trying pair of boots on, so i asked a sales associate if my mom could use that chair which was locked in the fitting room to sit on, but she gave me a look and said we have nothing, so my mom sit on one of the tables they had on the floor . I understand my mom was not spouse to sit on that table, but the girl came to my mom and was yelling at my mom that why is she sitting on the table, i went to her and told her that she need to yell there was another sale associate came and was saying the same thing, so i left everything and i told her that, this is not how u spouse to treat your customers and asked for her name, she didn't even turn and left.. The worst part is that the assistant manager was there the whole time on the phone, so then i went to her and said whats her name finally she gave me her name, I am not sure if there is any number so i can call and report her..

Urban Planet Rip Off

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and a messenger bag on the 4th of may, 2008. After months of hounding them I received my shoes, the bag never has arrived. Now the entire company has seemed to disappear. I'ld say I'm out about $90.
