ITS NOT LIKE TODAY U FILL UP THE FORM OR APPLICATION AND TOMORROW U WILL RECEIVE IT, ITS NOT LIKE THAT IT NEEDS TO BE OVERVIEWED AND VERRIFIED AND THEN U CAN GO AHEAD AND RECEIVE IT...

Received 2 calls today from US Financial Resources from a phone number in Tahoka, TX [protected]. The man had an extremely thick east Indian accent...so much so that I could barely discern what her was saying. He said he was calling because I had applied for a government grant that I could use for anything...house, car, education, whatever I wanted. After asking him several times to speak more slowly and asking him if he was calling because I had applied for this grant he said he was calling to give me the information about how to get the money. I asked him the website and he first said it was America US financial Resources, then said just US Financial Resources. I also asked him several times which agency was giving these grants and he skirted the question each time. I finally told him that I was not interested and to remove me from the call list after seeing this site.

I had $59.95 taken out of my account today, with no warning because of this company - that I had never heard of. Like above, I had received a call in November from someone requesting that I send them $3.98. But I did not give them my credit card number - they kept insisting that they were with the government and the guy had all my information. He called for a few more days until I threatened to report him - then the calls stopped. That money never came out because I did not give my cc number to them. However, the $59.95 came out in FEBRUARY - three months later. I called them and asked for a refund because I had never heard of easyhelpcenter.com or this specific company. The representative, Kelsey, that I spoke to was NASTY. She cancelled my "subscription" and refunded me, but would not give me a conformation code at first, because "that wasn't part of her job." She eventually rattled off so many numbers for me, and I requested to speak to a supervisor. She said that there were none on duty, and that she couldn't help me. I hung up and called a few hours later, and talked to a different representative who sent me a refund receipt email AND gave me the correct conformation number, to secure that I will have my refund in 3 to 5 business days - and agreed to me that Kelsey lied. The new representative then sent me to a supervisor, who did not care that Kelsey lied or was completely useless. Please stay away from this company, they're nothing but rude, nasty, scam artists. Call [protected] to reach their call center in order to get your money back. This number was given to me by my bank.

I have recieved numerous calls from these people about grant funding. They could answer no questions about how I got signed up. The called from District of Columbia, Washington D.C., and Oregon. I was looking for their site when I saw hundreds of scam reports. Once I informed them, I knew it was a scam. They hung up on me

They are at it again in 2015, I got a call today from Amarillo, TX, 806/355-1738, heavy foreign accent. Told me I applied for a gov. grant on Dec. 22, 2014 (Not!) I asked if they would need my bank info. to transmit the grant money. He says no, then goes on to ask for it for the $3.87 to have the final grant app! The breaking straw of his promo was telling me I could get gov grant money for "personal use." Yeah, right!

So the number that has persistently called me today was [protected]. The guy told me that I have a grant for $[protected]. All I need to do is go to the website and fill out some info. He then wanted to set up my username AND--AND PASSWORD! I then asked what agency of the government he was from. He told me he was not from a government agency that he was just a company that was looking out for me and wanted to make sure I got the money that was mine. He told me I would have to pay $3.87 and asked me over and over if that was a reasonable amount for the grant that I was in line for. I guess if I want $9000 for only $3.87 I would have to be a [censored] not to want that--RIGHT? Well, I didn't call this guy--HE CALLED ME 6 TIMES in a span of about 3 hours. That sounds like desperation. So I set the phone down on the table after telling this foreign sounding "JEFF" that I needed to talk to someone for a minute. I never picked it up again. He repeatedly said "Hello, SZTTVWKD (my name)." It must have been 12 minutes he sat there. What a waste of time for him and I hope I saved someone out there $3.87+$59.99/month. That is what I can see on this complaints board they usually do with your credit card...GOOD LUCK!

Like you people, I also got called, numerous times, from [protected].. They told me that because i paid my taxes and bills on time that I qualified for a grant of $5, 000 to $8, 000. He had my name and address, so, I decided to see what this was about. He asked for a credit card to give me the money. I kept talking to him so I could google the number., and i asked him for his company name. He told me he was from US Financial Services, and that they had a good standing with the Better Business Bureau, When I put the name, in the BBB website, a different company came up. He then told me I also had a low credit score and this is also why I qualified. I asked him what was my score and he changed the subject. My score is excellent, I already know it. After a while, I said send me a check and he said they were having problems and couldn't send one. I asked him to call back another day and he said it had to be today. I finally asked him if I could come to an office in person to verify them, he said no. Finally, I said this doesn't sound right and then he got mad at me and yelled at me for wasting his time.

I just got the call from a guy from India telling me I was getting a U.S. Government grant...first red flag, why would the U.S. Government out source grant give aways. He also told me I applied for a grant 4 months ago on a phone number that I have only had for 1 month...2nd red flag. The 3rd red flag came when he asked me for my acct. no for the 3.95 shipping charge. I told him I was going to check out the web site he gave me and call him back. He said I could not call him. I asked why not since it was a government phone number. he was back peddling pretty hard when I hung up on him and found this web site. I see they have been really busy. I hope everyone checks them out before giving out your acct info. I'm also wondering how they are still doing this since some of these comments are around 3 years old.

I just received a call from "Leo Aerrison" who was clearly from India. I could hear the translator in the background telling him what to say to me. He had my address as well as my email address, stating that I received a grant of anywhere from $5000-$9000, and that my application that I had apparently filled out 8-9months ago had been approved. He said all I needed to do was pay $3.87 so they could process everything, which doesn't make sense because if my application had already been approved then why would they need more money. I knew for sure that it was a scam when I told him I was not comfortable giving out my credit card information over the phone and he refused to send it to me through email or something. The phone number was [protected], however the number he told me to call him back on was [protected]. I hope this helps someone out there, and don't fall for the scam! I almost did because $5000 grand sounds great, but once they get your account information, you are not getting it back.

I recently received a call from a woman calling herself "Nancy", with a heavy Indian accent. I had been online trying to find funding to finish medical school. I was told for $3.87 I would be approved for a certain amount of money. I asked for her name and phone number, in case I had any question moving forward. Well, it turns out this is all a scam. The only good to come out of this was when I was able to reach Caymen. At U.S. Financial resources. She immediately identified the problem and refund the money. Carmen was professional, empathetic, maybe a little sympathetic. Caymen, I really appreciate your help. Have a great day !

DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
REPEAT...
DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
I too received the call about the government grant .
Same script that everyone else was told.
I told the rep Brandon Brown that I don't remember applying, he said I did two ago... I'm still sure I didn't, then he ask how much I want.. I asked what's the min. max. The min was 1, 800 max 9, 000. Of course I said 9, 000. Then I was asked how do I want it, I said mailed. Then I told it was a shipping fee of 3.87. Right then I should have hung up. I did say that I don't like giving out that info, he began to sympathize with me, understanding that there are many scams, they are part of the BBB, he also mentioned that it was needed in order to process the transaction, and that he had to have it completed, he mentioned something about losing his job if he doesn't.
Again I should have hung up, but it was 3.87. So I gave him the CC, I still had a ill feeling. So I got the confirmation #, website address, his govt id. So then it was done. I checked the website, didn't seem legit, then I found this page and read the comments, immediately I call the number given to me by Brandon, call center, I canceled my 3.87 and I am going to request a new card.
Lesson: if it sounds fishy, it usually is..it stinks, just like us financial resources.

They have been calling me off the hook. Even when I'm studying. They say, oh that's not our business that asks for money, we only ask for $3.95- what was the name of that other business that was asking you for money (what a complete circle contradiction all in one statement). I don't believe that these are local Americans. I think they are sitting in a hot steamy African room with roosters and chickens all around trying to scam anyone out there in the world that will give them money. Watch out BBB has 99 complaints on them and reports almost every negative trait that a company can have including giving out false addresses. I asked them if I could send a money order and they hung up on me. I asked them if I could 3 way my credit union to see if my credit union found them legit and they hung up on me twice. I just got a call from them when I was studying and they hung up on me when they heard the computer typing on the other end. Hmm... everyone wants money for college and there are a lot of hungry people out there, don't be scammed! The point is we live in an Industrialized society that represents a lot of wealth to others.

Go to your bank or credit union and close your account and/or report fraud. They will go after the guys for your money back. Good luck. Don't ever give your bank account info over the phone/net or to anyone. I asked them if I could mail a money order and they wouldn't let me. I asked them if I could pay with a prepaid visa that didn't attach to my bank. They would let me do that but the cheapest one my credit union offered was $100. Go call your bank right now. File a fraud case with customer service and close that account OR your bank will deny them access after you report fraud from here on out.

This happened to me yesterday, I got a call about government grant money and they told me that they needed my credit card number. I gave it to them after a few questions, they told me that it was erased after they charged me the three dollar fee for my application. They said that I would get the grant money sometime Friday, and that it would be about 7500 dollars unless I contacted support and told them how much money that I wanted. What do I do now?

These [censored] called my son trying to trick him into giving them his credit card info claiming he was eligible for a grant from US Financial. Thankfully he was wise enough not to give it to them. These websites that email you job notifications and then they turn out to be information gathering sites so they can call you and try to scam you are getting ridiculous!

My name is Gary, I also received a call from a man who was not a English speaking person. The man promised, and swore that everything he was saying was ligament, that I would receive a envelope from Fed- ex within 3 days for information and the best ways too also easily receive Grants. Different companies that are willing to grant for housing, business's that you want to start. On the phone for 5 min. promising that everything was on the up-n-up I for one gave out my info far a onetime charge for this information. I'm still waiting for the info a week later! The BBB needs to step in and stop these scammers.

I was. Called today by a "Steven smith" he gave me his badge number as well and said to apply for more grants on grants.gov which is a legit site. I told him I lost my debit card and could pay cash and he said I needed a card. So I got a prepaid card from walk art and loaded 15$ on it to pay the $3.87 to pay for the shipping of my $6500 check that I should get Friday. He sounded very convincing but was rude after I hung up on him because I wasn't willing to tell him info. He then said I didn't need to tell him anything. He knew my name and email and address and I didn't have to tell him a single detail. All o had to do was pay $3.87. I'm still confused as to if its real or not. I guess I'll see if I get any money Friday. At least I used a prepaid card so they can't take anything from my bank account or anything. He said I could have the check or wore the money...I dos check because I didn't wanna give my bank info. Did any one actually get anything?

Received the same call from a man named Alex asks him if he was Indian and he told me no, asked for my c.c number and yes I fell for it to, told me I would be charged $3.87 for a grant that was for $3900 that I would receive in 5-7 days. I even went further to asking about the number he was calling me from which was [protected], why no one answered when I called, he told me it was a customer service number some would answer when I call, I informed him I tried calling while being on the phone with him 6 times then he went on to say, they are a customer service center they are busy. But still no answer, then I aske him for an alternate number which he gave me [protected] which was not a us financial resource number, it was some loud annoying man answering phone which I hung up on. I asked for a website and he gave me www.grants.gov and the number at the bottom was not the number he gave me. He told me I would receive an email in 24 hours and I asked why would it take 24 hours to receive an email, if it's a grant why do I have to pay $3.87 for it for a processing fee? I asked for an address and he gave me one in pleasant grove which was an address for us financial resources with complaints about this, I called my bank (Chase) and informed them I gave someone my c.c information and I found out it was a scam and they did the dispute for the $3.87 told me to come in and have my card replaced and not to worry about it nothing else would come out of it, the number that was affiliated with the bank transaction was [protected] but when called, it said they were close this was at 11:00am (cst). It was a lesson well learned, I appreciate you'll posting your experience with this incident to make me aware of what is out there and I hope my report can't help someone just as you'll did me...
