Pepsi was advertised 5 / 8 packs for $10.00
I bought 10 / 8 packs & 1 gallon of milk
Total would have been $23.39
The cashier refused to take my extra care/coupon of $4.oo good towards a
$20.00 or more purchase. She said because the Pepsi was a sales item she must ring it on 2 seperate slips, therefore my ExtraCare/Coupon would not qualify for the $4.00 discount

Well genius, that would be because the LIMIT on the pepsi is ONE offer and since you had to be a hog and get 10 8packs of pepsi, the casier was trying to be nice and give you both orders for the sale price. When there is a LIMIT of 5 items, item #6 will ring up at full price through the register, so two seperate transactions have to be made. The coupon for $4.00 off of $20 needs to be SCANNED and the register will not let the coupon go through on an order less than $20. So, the cashier did NOT refuse to take your coupon, she was doing her job correctly AND trying to give you the sale price you were looking for on the pepsi. You should have thanked her for giving you more than you were entitled to rather than make a coplaint about her.
