The Store Manager Store #3553; would not authorize store personnel with a wiper installation because I did not buy the wiper from this store. I had been an Auto Zone customer for 20 years, this store is walking distance from my home. I have spent multiple thousands of dollars with Auto Zone (Lifetime Value of a Customer!). I asked Leticia was my life of so little value that she would send me out in the rain with a dangerous condition - non working wiper. Obviously the answer was yes. If the Auto Zone person would have come to my car as the Oreilly store personnel did — they would have told me I had a faulty wiper (even though it was new in the box - a piece was missing; the wiper was in the trunk when I bought the car used) and I would have bought a new wiper. So not only did Auto Zone lose the sales today — see attached receipt; they lost all of my future business to OReilly. Thanks
Claimed loss: 1 hour of time -- at my salary/income - that's $100.
Desired outcome: An apology and some kind of discount for the $100.
