I do not recommend the Pick Up and Go Delivery option in Chicago, Il. I have worked there, and so many problems occurred. 1.) If we do not have the item, there is a substitute option. It depends on the customer's preference, but it will specify such as same brand, different size. Employees ignore that specified request, and get anything similar. Price is definitely disregarded. Due to Covid-19 outbreak, customers cannot return or exchange. So, the customer is stuck with what they received. 2.) Due to new employees or just casual forgetfulness, some employees forget the customer's frozen items in the freezer or an item sitting out on the cart. Therefore, customers will not receive part of their order due to the lack of responsibility of the employees. 3.) Produce is picked using dirty gloves that have touched many surfaces or equipment. Also, unclean hands (employees) are grabbing customers produce. Employee logic: customers should wash their vegetables. You can only use water to wash produce, soap is highly unrecommended by health experts. How can water alone remove the bacteria employees just placed on the produce? I am not sure how employees have a clear conscious after doing these dishonest, disgusting methods. Customer Service needs improvement in various departments as well. One minute the employee is nice, the next minute they snap at you over a simple question of where something is because they (employee) are unable to handle stress. Lastly, on a positive note, the store is big with enough space to shop. They also have proper CDC guidelines in place inorder for customers and employees to feel safe.
