.On Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 5:30 pm; I went inside Jewels Store located at 7530 S. Stony Island Avenue, Chicago, IL 60649. As I arrived; I went directly to the liquor section of the store to find a liquor called "Old Grand Dad" to make a hot tardy for the flu. As I looked around, I could not find the brand, so I went back to the front counter of the liquor to ask the employee standing thereanswering other customers questions. 'He is a tall, light-skinded black male, standing at 6'1, I stood there in line waiting for him to finish in respect. After he finished with the other customer; three other customers walked up out of the blue to ask for something whereas I am still standing there saying excuse me. He kept iqnoring me thru four other customers who were behind me, so I said again "excuse Me, can I get some help?" He off this time to take another customer liquor to the cashier and when he returned, I was still standing at the counter and said again, "Excuse me, can I get some help?" you have ignored me over five people behind me. He proceeded to get loud as say, " You need to open your mouth, I dont read minds". I informed him that in respect, I been standing here in respect as everyone else and you assisted everyone behind me as if I were a ghost. It was to much as right for you to say, "may I help you sir" or "you need something?"; so he get louder and caused a scene coming toward me in a threathening manner. I could have taken him down and arrested him being a FBI Agent but I walked away and proceeded to ask for the manager who I informed about what had just happened for her employee. Her name was Ubenka. This young man is totally unprofessional and his a very nasty unprofessional attitude that will cause a threat and provoke violent occurrences in this store if something is not handled with his mentality and unprofessionalism. I have been shopping at this Jewels store since 1989 and never experience such ghetto unprofessional service from an employee before. Desired outcome: Suspension without pay and Professionally Retraining or Removed from the Liquor Section of the Store.

First off time you park and head towards the entrance you are harassed by solicitors and homeless people hanging around they ask for change or ask you do you need weed cigarettes or loud they pretty much escort you to the entrance once inside the carts are majority dysfunctional and the ones that work are full of trash you have to step over trash throughout the store the temperature in the coolers where meat is isn’t cold enough meat doesn’t even be as fresh as majority jewel, if you ask for help they tell you they don’t know or they are new.. the manager is a whole disgrace Lori she has a bad attitude and not any customer service I’m not sure how she is there on the front line also the store is barely stocked as it should be I never seen so many empty shelves in a jewel in all of my over 20 years shopping experience with them that store needs a deep re-evaluation or shut down everyday there is police activity meaning something is always happening in that parking lot area almost daily
Desired outcome: Refresh restore fire Lori she suck!
