I have been a customer of public storage for over 10 years. I have paid every month on time and have had no issue at all. Until I tried to move out. They don’t make the move out button on their website clear and the property manager doesn’t respond to phone calls or answer the phone. I cleared out my storage place halfway through January and took off time from work to make sure it was clean on the 1st to give back the space. I took an afternoon off on the first to check out space to make sure it was and ready to go for the Property Manager. They are still charging me an entire month of February in the amount of $188 because I used the gate code.
I moved all my stuff to a different public storage space, by the way.
Desired outcome: I do not want to pay that $188 for a month for which I did not have the storage space.
