1: There was a Signature brand of corned beef hash that was in the with the refrigerated pork sausage and packaged cold cuts. This product was not only delicious, but it contained no nitrates or nitrites. It was there about one month and then pulled from the shelves.
2: I cannot stand me having to scan some secret code to get some savings after I key in my phone number and your computers can see how much I buy at my local River Forest, IL Jewel. Why not make shopping at Jewel easier for those of us that do not want to shop twice: Once on line and then once while in the store.
3: There were two additional Jewel ads in last weeks Chicago Tribune. Both exalted great savings through the end of May. But none of the stores mentioned was the one I shop at every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. To me, that is insulting marketing. And if I am driven to shop a t a different store for savings, there is a Tony's and a Rich's about the same distance from my home.

Jewel-Osco - Pharmacy
On Feb 14th 2024. I called the pharmacy bc my doctor mixed up my prescription. A person at the hospital told me to ask about an emergency prescription about 3 pills. The person Andrew became demeaning to me asking me why I needed it. I told him.. then he basically said I took more pills and without my doctors saying to.. First I suffer from bi polar w/ acute anxiety. And yes I had a few days of panic attacks. I did tell this to my doctor as I had just been there that day. I told him I had six pills until Saturday and today is wed. im supposed to take three a day.. He told me I have enough. He was rude and demeaning.

Jewel-Osco - poor customer service
I have been shopping here for over 8 years and the customer service has gone down. The worst experiences I have had lately happened at the deli and the seafood sections. The employees are constantly on their phones. I also notice employees taking merchandise behind the deli counter. There will be 5 people waiting to be served and the employees walk away into the cooler. I have taken my business elsewhere. It is such a shame when such a good store hires poor employees that ruin it for everyone.
