State mask regulation violation: The woman at the service desk wore her mask on only her mouth. When I asked her to cover her nose while I filled out the FedEx info, she was rude and abrupt for the rest of the process. As I went around the store, all the personal shoppers wore their masks correctly. However, at checkout, only mouths were covered or the mask was woren around their necks for nearly all jewel employees.
Jewel employees are not following mask regulations. They are wearing around their necks or just covering their mouths. When asked to cover their nose and mouth they were rude and abrupt. As a group, we are reporting you to the state complaint board. This is a Pandemic. Take it seriously.
Jewel-Osco - Meat market - chesterton
I went to the market yesterday to buy crab legs. The market manager was waiting the counter. I was the fourth person in line. He helped everyone in front of me and then walked away to check the walk arounds. He walked right past me to get to the case so I know he saw me standing there. I waited a minute and another employee came behind the counter and asked if I had been waited on. I shook my head no and said no and she walked to a table behind the counter with another market employee. I assumed she was putting on gloves to assist me. I stood there for another few minutes and neither of them ever came to help me. The market manager was still looking at cases and the employees were still standing behind the counter with their backs turned toward me. They were then joined by a THIRD employee and still not one person helped me. I walked away from the counter and they just glanced at me. I've never had worst customer service. To make matters worse I purchased four packs of their boneless chicken (the jewel brand). Tried to make two separate packs and the stuff is so chewy it's inedible. I even tasted it once it was cooked and tried to cook it longer to see if it would help and it's awful. I had to throw out all the chicken I bought so there's money down the drain. I won't be shopping here anytime soon.
Jewel-Osco - Management
I submitted a job application to Jewel Osco in Chesterton, IN on March 25th, 2020. No one reached out to me until I called the store Friday afternoon. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager, Tiffany, was rude and dishonest to me. She sounded rude to me when she said they review applications every day before she lied to me about calling me back.

I've contacted our State's Board of Health. Next ABC. CBS, NBC and anyone that will listen. Their compliance puts us ALL at risk.
My Jewels for the last 6 months similar health issues. One male cashier who wears his below his nose. I advised him for the mask to be effective it has to be covering the nose and mouth. He originally stated "It's all fake anyway" (Six months ago). Three months ago he said he " had medical issues ". (Then he should be somewhere else but NOT Cashiering). I've told management four separate times. Nothing. I've called Jewels Corporate Office twice, to no avail.
