Jiffy Lube - Upon completing service, worker vandalized my vehicle.

On 06Oct2023 at roughly 6:30pm, I took my 2007 Nissan Sentra to Jiffy Lube, #171, in Griffith, Indiana. When I pulled up, the worker came outside and asked if he could assist me. I asked for an oil change only. The worker asked that I pop my hood outside of the garage area (in which I did). The worker then asked if I would step out of the vehicle and asked that I sit in the waiting area (which I also did). The worker proceeded to drive the vehicle inside of the garage/repair area. The worker then performed the oil change, Once completed, the worker charged me $117.36 for the service. After I paid, the worker begin to tell me that the latch to the hood was broke (meaning, my hood could no longer close). I begin to inquire about how this happened, The worker could not explain to me how it happened. I asked if Jiffy Lube was going to repair the latch and I was told that Jiffy Lube was closing soon and that there was nothing that Jiffy Lube could do about it at that particular time. The Manager then asked if I would take the vehicle to an auto store and purchase some bungie cords and zip ties. The Manager also stated that I should drive the vehicle less than 5 mph until the hood is tied down. I ended up leaving to go to the auto store and while in route, the entire hood flew off the hinges. At this point, the hood was completely damaged. I had to pay to have the vehicle towed to an auto shop and I am currently waiting for an estimate. The next day, I went back to Jiffy Lube with my parent. My parent spoke with the store manager. The entire conversation was being recorded. My parent asked why Jiffy Lube workers would charge me for the service before discussing the broken latch. The manager stated that they didn't know it was broken until they got ready to close it. But, as we further discussed the issue, the manager proceeded to say that the latch was broken when we first arrived (which is not true). I was able to pop the hood upon request when I first arrived and I live in Illinois, therefore, I would not have been able to drive the vehicle from Illinois to Indiana with a broken latch, but the entire hood flew off the hinges in less than 5 minutes from leaving Jiffy Lube. My parent asked if Jiffy Lube would accommodate us for the tow, and repairs and the Manager said that they would not accommodate us because we bought the vehicle in with the latch already broken. I am following the proper protocol by first contacting the store manager. I was not pleased with the outcome; therefore, I am reaching out to Corporate to request that an investigation be launched and to review the surveillance footage. Your workers vandalized my vehicle and are not willing to accept accountability.

Desired outcome: I am asking for a reimbursement for the tow fee, and for Jiffy Lube to cover the repairs for the hood damages to be replaced.
