The worst company to ever do business with. I live in St. Louis, MO and I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years. Everything is fine, as long as you're spending your money. They pretend customers safety is important they pretend like they're really trying to help us but they only care about the money. Oh don't have a problem where your so called warranty...

Jiffy Lube oil change

I purchased a synthetic oil change group on from Jiffy lube. I've been there twice once in June shortly after I purchased the groupon was told I couldn't use it and then again to day in the middle of July and they still haven't fixed the problem. I'd like my money back so I can go somewhere else to get my oil changed. The 1st time I came I was told by the employee that they should have it fixed by the end of the day. Obviously that isn't the case because they still haven't fixed the problem. I am out $69 need to change the oil in my car. I don't want to wait until Jiffy Lube fixes whatever the issue is.

Jiffy Lube damages to vehicle after service

Director of Operations for Jiffy Lube: Craig Linington

On April 27th, 2018, we brought our car into Jiffy Lube in Beaverton to have the brake pads checked. We were told the rear brake pads were in great condition, but the front brake pads needed to be replaced and the brake fluid in the front of the car flushed. We also had our oil changed and all other recommendations by the jiffy lube staff completed that day. Less than two months later our brakes were making noises again. We brought the car back in to the same Jiffy Lube on 7-20-18 and were told that the rear brake pads were in such poor condition they were basically metal on metal. Jiffy Lube staff were able to tell us this without even taking the wheels off of our vehicle and gave us a repair estimate of $500. We explained that the rear brake pads were fine in April and we were apologized to and given coupons for oil changes. I called to speak to a manager that same day to discuss reimbursement for the damage to our brake pads and was yelled at by the manager. He then told me we "probably couldn't afford to have all four brake pads done at the same time" and that's why our rear brakes were now in such poor condition. He also said he didn't work at that location at the time of our repairs so he didn't know. He said he would have another manager call me. An hour later, Deandre called me, profusely apologized and promised that someone from corporate would call me within the hour. If I didn't receive a phone call, he assured me I could call him back. I never received a phone call. When I called him back, I spoke to a staff member who told me Deandre was taking his second lunch of the day and would not be returning. I never received any return calls. On 7/21/18 we took our car into Brake Lodge. After inspecting it, they found that our rotors were damaged and our calipers had frozen due to brake fluid not being flushed and brake pads not being replaced. The repairs cost $602. I called Jiffy Lube and spoke to Ted who told me I was not telling the truth about the services I received at Jiffy Lube on April 27th. After calling me a liar, Ted rudely told me to bring in my Brake Lodge invoice and nothing would probably come of it. He refused to give me the number of someone else I might speak to. We brought our paperwork into Jiffy Lube on July 27th and I received a phone call from the regional manager of Jiffy Lube. Again, I had a conversation that can only be described as unprofessional and borderline rude. I was told that he tried to check camera footage of the day of April 27th but found nothing and there was nothing he could do. After a few minutes, he refused to speak to me or answer my questions. I was told his boss was out of town and would get back to me when he could. I am seeking reimbursement for repairs. My father and I have brought in three cars to Jiffy Lube over the last 20 years and supported the establishment as such. This needs to be made right.

Jiffy Lube poor/rude customer service

I had my oil changed at the Jiffy Lube off Scottsdale Rd, in Scottsdale, AZ, on 4/30/18 (work order: 1951). I experienced Logan B., who was responsible for customer service, as cold, curt and unfriendly from the beginning of service to the end. At check out, he informed me, rather robotically, that I had an oil leak, but did not offer any further information. When I asked for more details, he continued to act annoyed and impatient with me, as if customers are a nuisance to him. I felt very dismissed and uncomfortable. I wish that I had just asked for my keys back and left before services were rendered. If I owned a business, I'd simply want to know how my staff were treating customers, which is why I'm writing this review. I will not be returning to this location, and if I continue to find staff lacking in basic customer service skills, I will simply stop using Jiffy Lube altogether.

Jiffy Lube overcharged for putting on a spare tire

Today I hit something on the Freeway, damaging the front tire on my car. I went to the closest Jiffy Lube in Bloomington, Mn, asked if they could put on the spare tire for me. They said they could, but there would be a little wait, as they were putting a spare tire on for someone else. The ones ahead of me were two young ladies, who were having a spare tire put on, and were charged $23.00 including tax for the service. When I went to pay, I was charged $43.00 for the same service. After I came home, I called the same Bloomington store, asked them what they charge for putting a spare tire on, and was told they charge $20.00 for that service. I also read on line, that Jiffy Lube stores offer discounts to senior citizens, I am 78 years old, but was not told that. I feel I was over charged. The store that I went to was Jiffy Lube, #1371, Bloomington, Mn. My work order #11, Invoice #[protected].

Jiffy Lube service

Well today on March 3rd arounds one or two I don't have the exact time I had went to Jiffy Lube in Mashpee Massachusetts I put my car up to the garage the man came out of the garage and asked when to take the car I told him I did not know what package I wanted yet and I would I wanted to know if there was a menu inside I could look at he said yes there was so I told him okay before you do anything let me just go look to see what I want what service I want and the prices he proceeded to take the car and bring it in the garage and I went inside the office. I was waiting to talk to someone about what's the best package for me I stood in the office for about 1 minute I looked outside in the garage and I saw the men it looked like they were already working on my car when a man another man that worked there came to the office and called me into the garage and asked me can you look at a computer and asked me which one I wanted he left like there were like two different three different prices and it was like between 40 to $60 range. I told him I did not want to spend 40 to $60 I asked him if he had anything cheaper and he said no so I told him forget it don't do the oil change he told me it was already done and that's when I said well how can it already be done you were asking me what I wanted I didn't even tell you what I wanted yet so how could it be done so they proceeded to tell me that that's how fast and oil change was and this and that and again I just said I don't understand how you could have gone ahead and done the job I told this the kid who took the car not to do anything until I knew what I was what would I was going to purchase so they seemed aggravated they basically knew they were wrong and didn't admit it I had told them I was looking for deals I did not want to spend more than $30 so rudely the guy tells me will then just give us $30 and then again I said well you got how did you did you guys put oil in the in my car did you do the oil change and they said yes so mean a feeling bad I offered him $25 cash which I did not get a receipt for and I asked him again are you sure you did the oil change I don't know how you could have if I didn't tell you what I wanted but whatever I'm taking your word for it and I'm going to go so I left drove away as I was driving away I realized they did not put a sticker on my car nor did they give me a receipt so I drove back to the store and ask them for a receipt and ask them for a sticker and the man came out he asked me to Pop My Trunk because I wanted I was asking him are they sure they did the oil change was everything you know okay because that was pretty fast that it didn't seem right so he told me I had nothing to worry about and he gave me a sticker and they were trying to kind of push me out of there so I felt uncomfortable as it was so I left again with him or sharing me they had done the oil change as I was driving away the second time I realize I didn't get a receipt so I had went to the Mashpee police station just to file a report of what had happened just in case something went wrong with my car after I left the Mashpee police station I called the Jiffy Lube in Mashpee and spoke to another gentleman that was working there and ask him what exactly he did at because I forgot my receipt so he told me that they did the oil change that they put in 530 Pennzoil conventional that they change the oil filter and change the air filter and he said he gave me he gave me the basic oil change that's done and I said again on the phone to him how could you have done the oil change if I never told you what kind of oil I wanted and he had told me oh well it's all the same basic oil for the Standard Oil Change and again I said how did you know I wanted to standard so he told me that when I when I told them I did not ask for this that he had already put oil in the car so I asked again so you're saying did you do the oil changed did you change the oil filter did you do everything you said you did he said yes so I I for my own security and seeing this complaint I don't know if they're using the same oil for everything it doesn't matter if you pay $20 or $100 it must be all be the same because they just went ahead and did it without me even telling them what I wanted so this was unprofessional and very upsetting I was not treated with proper respect they basically rushed me out of there and was mad that I actually saw what was going on and they knew they were in the wrong they didn't try to make it right and I feeling bad thinking that they did the service gave them $25 because II he told me that they did the service so I'm going to get my car looked at right now to see if everything they said they did was done if not I would like to be compensated. I also tried calling the customer service # but could not get anyone on the phone. They said they were closed. This was so wrong in so many ways. I will never go to jiffy lube again

I went to jiffy lube in mashpee, M.A today .when i got there the guy came out to get my car.i told him i did not know yet what package i wanted yet. I asked if there was a menu i could look at inside, he said yes .so he took my car im the garage, i went in the office right away to talk to someone but nobody was in the office.as i was in the office i was watching them in the garage, it looked like the were getting my car ready . i was in the office for like 2 min and another man that worked there called me in the garage. He brought me over to a computer in the garage and asked me what package did i want ? The $45-60$ plan ? I asked him if he had anything lower and he said no .so i said i didnt want to spend that and told him forget it ill just go somewhere else. Thats when the man said, "well we already did it "? I said how did u do it when u were just asking me what i wanted? LOL i said how could u say u did the oil change when u didnt even ask me? They knew they screwed up .they insisted that they did a standard oil change and they replaced the air filter, ect. They seemed irritated .so me feeling bad i gave them $25 for the service they claimed they did. They said fine they will take it BECAUSE they knew they screwed up. I got no reciept or sticker. I left them with them assuring me that they did the work and i was good to go. I went right back to the shop when i realized they didnt even give me a sticker or a receipt.so i went back and asked for a sticker and a reciept. The man came out with the sticker and then told me to open my hood so he could show me that everything was good. Again still questioning them on how could they claim to finish the job when they didnt know what i wanted. . i was treated like it was my fault . lol like they were doing me a favor .i again was assured everything was done.. That is a scam .because u cant say it was done when u never knew what i wanted either they use the same oil they must use the same oil and then just save different oil or I don't know something because they're obviously doing the same thing they said of standard oil changed but is that what they do for oil changes that are $100 how did they know what oil to put in I never told them so holy was a scam and I'm getting it checked to make sure that they did everything they said they did I even called up the shop and recorded the man on the phone saying that he did the oil change and he had replaced the air filter and did this and that so if he is lying then I at least I at least a mode a proper job done and they should have gave me the service for free not me made me feel bad or guilty like it was me that was in the wrong

Jiffy Lube money stolen from my car at jiffy lube

I had my car serviced at this Jiffy Lube, 13300 Minnieville, Rd Woodbridge, VA 22192, when I got in my car to leave, I noticed several coins on my carpet under my steering wheel. I checked my coin tray in my car when I noticed my money change in coins missing from my coin tray.

I went back to the Jiffy Lube and explained what happened to the supervisor there, and he told me he would check the video. He returned ten mins. later and said he did not see anything on the video.

I called the police and filed a report. I am disappointed that a service attended took it upon himself to rob from a loyal customer. My vehicle has been serviced at your company for several years, and I am so upset that I got robbed of my money in my car.

I have no trust and respect for the Jiffy Lube company, and believe me, I will tell all my friends in my area what happened to me. “This is not fair to your customers to have their money stolen from them. “Appalling.’

Very Dissatisfied Customer

Acting manager on duty Jerry R.
I needed an oil change for my daughters new car (Ford Fusion titanium)
Called Jiffy lube boca. Never have been to Jiffy lube before.
jerry MGR upsold me to synth mix for car-Car did need that.
It was 79 dollars-30 higher than my local Pep boys. I thought ok, last time I use Jiffy Lube. Then when it was time to ring me up Jerry claimed we needed to add a 6th bottle of oil need to charge you 8 plus 3 for antifreeze.
Never did the manager tell me before sale there would be additional charges.
He just tacked it on in the end. I told him that was not the way to do bussiness. He pulled out 3 dollars and pushed it towards me-with a bad attitude. I of course declined. I told him i will never be back and will let everyone i know to avoid this location. He could have said, I have a coupon, let me make this right for you. Another customer next to me felt she was taken as well. He gave her 10 dollars off but gave me no such discount. He then proceeded to storm around me in an angry manor. He said to a fellow african American, I always do right dont i? She hastily agreed. I felt uncomfortable
In a somewhat threatened manor.

Then he was sarcastic when throwing red mat on floor...

Worst customer service i have ever experienced-period!
I will let everyone know that This location is the pits. Plus reverse racism. I have never experienced that before!

Jiffy Lube oil change disaster

After getting an oil change 20 days ago the alert to get an oil change came on. Thinking it was a simple oversight of resetting the oil change system until there were pools of oil on our driveway. This is only the second oil change on my new car and it was done before a long road trip.
After discovering the large amount of oil on the driveway and smelling burning oil for a few days I looked into the problem. I took it up to the store I had it done at and they did not seem concerned by the mistake they made. THE OIL FILTER WAS NOT TIGHTENED! Someone went under and tightened it, said they cleaned it up as good as possible, and disappeared. No one offered to contact a manager, refund my money, or even direct me out of the bay.
The lack of care during the oil change and lack of concern when the issue was brought to their attention is beyond unacceptable.
I expect to hear a response as soon as possible to resolve this issue. There is no reason this simple task should have been missed. I will be having my car checked at a reputable car service to see if any damage has been done beyond the immense amount of oil on the undercarriage.

Jiffy Lube Worst company to exist. Incompetent disrespectful liars

This is the WORST company you could ever deal with. Even after a year they Will Bouyd (district manager) has not responded to my letter asking him to at least give me the money I spent on their horrible services that were never done to my car. They should close this one down as well as all the other Jiffy Lubes, anyway there are a million other places that do what they claim to do better and respectfully. I have read other people’s stories and they are just unbelievable. I decided to withdraw my lawsuit after my lawyer told me that this would be a long case that would persist for a very long time and I didn’t want to be upset and feel impotent for so long after what these i####s did to me. To this day, I still do not believe this happened and I cannot believe that not a single person has contacted me about it either. Even the headquarters in Texas want to clean their hands with this matter since they are a franchise.
Terrible and disgusting company; AVOID IT at all costs.
The following happened to me. I tried to explain everything in detail and as accurate as possible. People please, stay away from them. This is not the first time it happens. They are actually famous for their horrific jobs…

On October 1st 2015, I took my 2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500 to Jiffy Lube facilities for an oil change. I went to the one located in 7798 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33155, where the manager Jonathan helped me that day. While there, they offered a filter change and an engine treatment and services, which I agreed to for $199. It took them approximately 10 minutes to do everything and because it was so fast, I asked him if they had done everything previously agreed to the car and he claimed they were professionals so it was quick. The vehicle had absolutely no issues previously to attending Jiffy Lube and operated in an optimal condition; in reality, I only went for an oil change. Before leaving, he also suggested I changed one of the anterior headlights. When I asked how long it would take he said it would be approximately 15 minutes but the place got filled with people so he said to come back another day because also the only person that knew how to take off the headlights was not there that day, so I left. Two days later on October 3rd I went back to Jiffy Lube to change the headlights for another $29.
Three days later, on October 6th as I was coming back from work, the light indicating malfunctioning of the filter turned on. The next day, October 7th I took the car back to Jiffy Lube, where the manager Jonathan told me that it wasn’t a problem and that they were going to change the filter again even though this was supposed to have happened back in October 1st, the very first day I took the car there and paid for it to be changed. Then they came back saying that they had to order the filter because they didn’t have them in the store, which I thought was strange since they did “have” it the first time. I went inside to the lobby to wait for my car and I started hearing weird noises and smoke started to come out of the car. This is when I realized that they had never changed the filters for oil/petroleum and I am almost certain as well that they never changed the oil itself either. When I stepped outside to see what was going on with my car, I asked Jonathan what was going on and he simply said to not worry that they were going to fix it. When I looked at the filter, it looked like the one it had previous to the new one and I told him once again that the filter was old and they never changed it in the first place. He got really nervous and kept saying not to worry. I decided to take pictures of the filter to have proof that a brand new filter does not look like that one the slightest. Also, they told a mechanic from the shop to go to the gas station to bring back a liquid, which they poured in a plastic water bottle container, I guess for me to not know what was in it. They brought back gas to put in the car even though my car does not use gas, it uses petroleum. As soon as I started taking pictures and videos of everything that was going on, the mechanic hid the plastic bottle container with the gasoline inside of it. I am certain this was one of the main reasons why the car made an internal explosion and hence the fact the engine became inoperable. Then the car turned on but the smoke it was producing was so much and overwhelming that they had to turn on the fan. The car started making a sound as if two metals were hitting each other so I told Jonathan to turn it off because that was not good for the engine. Jonathan told me not to worry that the mechanic knew was he was doing and that it was okay for that to happen. They kept the car on for around 15 minutes and the smoke kept getting worse as well as the sound that was really loud; they also kept on putting more gasoline to the car and messing with the filter. After almost three hours of this, they decided to call Victor Moreno, manager of the store in US1 and Jonathan’s boss. Victor told Jonathan to tell me to 1. To look for a tow truck because they didn’t have any and 2. To look for a shop to take it to, that they were going to take full responsibility for the damages and fix the car they broke down. I told them that I was concerned because the car had thousands of dollars invested in my working tools and I couldn’t just leave the car there. Soon after, I was able to contact a shop and called a tow truck (which I had to pay for) to take it to a facility because it could not stay at their location.
I followed the tow truck to the shop, which I consider one of them should have done but I had to do it. When we arrived at the shop, the mechanic Ivan turned it on and quickly turned it off and checked the oil and the engine and told me that Jiffy Lube had completely messed up the engine. He also said that this happened because they put gasoline instead of petroleum to turn it on and that’s what caused the explosion and messed other things inside as well. Ivan also mentioned that most of the mechanics at Jiffy Lube do not know what they’re doing and don’t have a clue about anything else other than oil change which is what they’re certified for. Ivan gave me an estimate and I called Jonathan to tell him about it and he called Victor. Victor immediately backed up and said that he was not going to take responsibility over anything that happened, even though he did not know the details that it was their fault. Jonathan gave me Victor’s phone number and after endless calls that were never answered, I presented myself to Victor’s store in Miami, FL US1. There, he had no option but to speak to me. He told me that he had to contract an inspector to go check the car and I simply told him I didn’t care what he had to do but he had to give me my car back in the same conditions as it entered their Jiffy Lube facilities. I also told him to check the cameras at the store to make sure he would see that the car entered in perfect conditions and came out inoperable.
As Victor said, he sent an inspector of their choice for a physical and mechanical appraisal 4 days after this. The inspector completed the report, which was filled with errors about my car. Details like the type of gas, doors, pistons, and many other things that are basic about the car were wrong and even the name of the “owner” of the car, which they made the report to my brother’s name for no reason. The only correlation between my brother and the car was that he had taken it years before to that same location but that was not the case this time. On the other hand, the guy doing the inspection told me that he had been working for Jiffy Lube many times before and he took pictures of the car in areas where is it not subjective/ helpful in this case. The pictures never included pictures of the oil and the amount it had to prove it had been changed, it does not state the condition of the oil filter and whether it is new or old. However, it does state that the diesel filter is new, but of course it has to be new after having to change it (the first time they were supposed to do it on October 2nd and the second time on October 7th) “so many times.” The inspector also stated that he vehicle’s oil was low even though they were supposed to have done it days before this happened; either they did not put the required amount or they did not change it at all. It also does not state the viscosity or quality of the oil they put in the car.
After calling Victor for so many days after the inspection, he never had the decency to worry about accelerating the process. I asked him to please do what he could to finish this quick because this car contains the tools required for my job and I have employees that are depended from me. I had been without working for days and he just didn’t seem to care or to help me at all. This is my job and with it I have to pay lots of bills that my family depend from. Starting from my daughter’s university studies, to my son’s sport and the plate of food I have to provide daily, along many other important bills needed for everyday survival.
Without care, he finally said that they were not responsible for anything that happened to that car and that he didn’t care, but they were not going to pay for any damage made to the car. I then asked him to give me his boss’ number for me to contact him and he kept insisting to not give it to me because he didn’t speak Spanish and that he was American so I insisted and he ended up giving me his number. I called him endless times different days and did not receive a single call back. I, along with my daughter who speaks the language, went to Jiffy Lube in coral way where this incident happened to ask them to call Will Bouyd, the person who I was trying to get in contact with. There, they told me that they didn’t have direct contact with him and that I had to call Victor but I didn’t because he was going to tell me the same thing, that Will would call me back, which had not happened in days. I left him four more voicemails and no response. I decided to call the police because they were not being concise, it was just bounding be around and around. When the cops arrived, I explained the situation and even they agreed that I needed to do something because they didn’t care. They went inside the store to ask for their information and when they came back outside they provided all the details from the company to me in order to call corporate and make a complaint and have someone with higher authority to call me and solve the problem; obviously that never happened.
Days after, Will contacted my daughter and told her that he was going to further investigate the case because he had just heard about it and he wanted to have the details and call me back as soon as possible. It is until today that we have not heard from him even after my daughter calling him more times.

This is a conversation I had with Victor afterwards and was also stated on the letter they sent to my house:
-Victor stated: we are not going to pay for anything because the car had too many miles.
(However, this car went in perfectly fine just for an oil change and they ruined the rest.)
-I responded: then why did you agree to charge me everything and “do all those things to the car?” even though it had so many miles?
-Victor said: the car had a leakage.
-I responded: Which diesel car with a year of being used does not have leakage? Independently of this, the leakage has nothing to do with anything else. The car went in perfectly fine inside Jiffy Lube facilities the three days that it went in and Jonathan, who drove it, knows it drove well without any noise or smoke coming off of it. Then why does Bill Bouyd want to return the money they charged for the filters and oils and services when supposedly they did it right? I did not break the engine or do anything to the car, it was not in my hands when you decided to put something I’m not knowledgeable about inside of it that you hid in a plastic water bottle container. Obviously they don’t want to take responsibility for something that was done wrong.

I also visited two other Jiffy Lubes in order to obtain information about their services with these types of cars. I asked for information for an oil change on this car type of car (Dodge Sprinter 2003) and they said that they would do it. When I insisted and asked whether they had the filter in the store they backed up and said that they didn’t have it, and that they only did the oil change on those cars. This confirmed that they never did a filter change the first day that I took the car because they do not do filter change according to the other Jiffy Lubes. They also said that the diesel filter was something they didn’t do commonly either, that if I were to ask for that service they would do the same thing the other people did with my car, leave the filters untouched and once you turn on the car with the old filters after changing the rest the oil gets contaminated and causes the rest of the problems.

** I have pictures and videos of everything done this day.

Jiffy Lube Terrible service

Went to Jiffy Lube and needed a simple inspection. These guys said they had two customers and asked me to wait. They said it'll take approximately 30-40 minutes. After an hour I went to the front desk and asked why was it taking so long. The girl who was working at the desk asked me to wait and said she'll go and check. Waited about 10 minutes and nothing.
She came back about 20 minutes later and said these need extra 30 minutes. Ok, I gave them another 30 minutes. Then they said they have a lunch brake and asked could I wait a bit longer! Are you kidding me? No words can describe how angry I was! I told them how terrible, unprofessional, disgusting they were and left. The worst service ever!

Jiffy Lube Jiffy Lube idiot destroys the seal on brand new air filter when checking it

Jiffy Lube idiot destroyed the seal on a brand new air filter (one with less than 400 miles on it) when checking it, and then told me I needed a new one. Idiot did not properly remove the two base screws on the filter unit to remove the filter case. Idiot only pried the filter case open to check, which will destroy the filter seal every time. Then he told me it was very dirty!

Avoid the Quick Lube places and take it to the dealership for service. Probably not cost much more and the dealer knows how to work on the cars they sell. I would NEVER take any of my vehicles to a Quick Lube place.

Jiffy Lube They destroy air filters when checking them

The employees there are careless. Three times in a row, they pulled the air filter and tore it in the removal, three times in a row. Are they that stupid and careless, or fraudulent greed? I had to purchase three air filters at Walmart after taking it to this Jiffy Lube location. And of course they claim I also needed a complete flush coolant, steering fluid, brake fluid, tranny fluid... basically all the extra items that they offer at a 500% markup! The state of WI ought to send 50 women in vehicles, all in perfect condition and see how many $1, 000's of extra service they will try to strong arm out of them. They really know how to intimidate!

I visited Jiffy Lube Store #3399 in Arlington, TX, on November 8, 2015, for a regular oil change. I drive a 2013 Toyota Camry, and opted for full synthetic since that's what I already have in my car and I don't like to change. I drove 30 miles to get to this location, passing several other places where I could have gone, because of my previous experience...

I am extremely unhappy by the tactics used at this Jiffy Lube location. On October 14, 2015, I went for an oil change at the 600 W Street Road, Warminster PA location. I came in with a $10 off oil change coupon. The technician took my vehicle into garage for "assessment of vehicle" and I opted for conventional oil change. The technician told me that the...
