First of, after the customer before me had left the lady working on the front did not call me "next in line" despite me looking at her to do so and as she looks at me there and then. Even after me being ushered by the customer served before me to the counter, she did not greet me at all. After explaining the reason why I am there, she at first told my Co payment to be $70 but what I saw on the display came to show $ 84 and when I asked why it is showing $ 84 she answered there were two more receipts which she did not expain about and showed/explained them to me only up on my request. I believe the customer should be told the total amount he has to pay all at once and should never be told another amount that takes him by surprise at last. When I am about to leave the counter after paying, she did not ask for an apology for the way she gave the service to me nor did she thank me for the payment I made eventually. Still doubtful about the service, I had to come back to the pharmacy to ask what prescriptions were covered for me by my insurance company. Even when I came back she still approached me the same way she did initially, no greetings and inviting me and my sister who came with me over to the counter. She in fact did not respond when my sister greeted her. It's when I asked her the details that I found out that there is a medicine which is not covered by my insurance company. However, she at first explained to me as if every medicine has been covered by my insurance and explained that the amount I paid $ 84 is my co payment which I later found out to be not not true when she said the second time I came back to the pharmacy that the $70 I paid is not a co payment but a discount adjustment made by the pharmacy. I am embarrassed by such incomplete and inconsistent information she gave me and the fact that she didn't ask for an apology when her mistakes were discovered. She didn't thank us as we leave the counter.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate if the pharmacy pinvestigate my complaint and take the necessary corrective measures so that other customers do not go through such a bad treatment and embarrassing business experience.
Giant Food / Giant of Maryland - Customer service
On Tuesday November 10, 2020 I was using the self-checkout register when I needed assistance with the machine after using a coupon and dropping it in the slot as the machine asked I politely ask the giant employee (Velma Flores) working the self-checkout line if she could help me with the machine - she seemed annoyed that I asked her and when she came over she was very rude and obnoxious while I was trying to explain the situation to her to the point that she snatched my coupon and tossed it and just walked away totally ignoring me and costing money because I was going to use that coupon as well for $2.50 off my purchase. So at this point I had to go to the customer service desk and ask the lady working there if she could come over to self-checkout and assist me because I told her that the employee working there now is very unprofessional and unhelpful and she did without hesitation.
I was able to obtain the rude employee name which Velma Flores and the store this occurred is:
