I arrived at great wolf lodge expecting to owe 181 after confirmation from a employee. When we arrived 1000 was mentioned so I asked about my voucher after 45 min of looking into it the manage Allen stated Ohio couldnt confirm at that time. My husband said he would pay 1000 on his credit card at that time Allen denied us to stay at the water park/hotel. Stated we had a issue in the past with the ceiling and then in ohio and yes we would never go to ohio again but the ice damn in our room last time was a different story.

Great Wolf Lodge - Everything
So to start off I had called reservations to set everything up was treated like garbage 3 times and finally called the resort directly at which time I spoke to a lady whom said they would honor the price I was quoted and that they did in fact have a room available which I was told they didn’t at first. She said I would have to put down 399.00 and the remainder at check in at the amount of 798.00 everything was good and bc of the way I was treated they would add a dining credit and additional 20-30% off when I called the day of we were half way there and I was told that whim ever I spoke to miss spoke they would not be honoring the price but they would try and get the closest to that price I arrived and they charged 799.00 on top of the 399 then said I would have a hold of 300 for incidentals but there was no dining pass no passes for the kids to do activities as promised and to top it off I woke up the first day after staying and was charged an additional 600.00 so I called my bank and went to the front desk in which the worker told me they couldn’t find were I was charged 600 only 300 but that even after they spoke to my bank and confirmed it was 600 there was nothing they could do but it sent my account into over draft and took all my money so we couldn’t do anything on my sons birthday so then I went back down and asked about a refund and they said it would clear in 3-10 business days and then gave me passes to magic quest and a free pizza which is nice but we were there 3 nights and no money to feed them the rest of the time we went to the arcade to use there credits and half the machines didn’t work and when I went to tell the girl at the front desk she was rude as hell and said we have all been briefed on your circumstances and you have been well completed so what could we possibly do now I was speechless after a vacation from hell we still tried to make the best of it and yet again I went down to ask about the bowling they had and if I needed some odd and they girl said we don’t just give them out you’ve been givin enough I at that point was done this place is a hell hole and I will never come back I still have not got my money back and too top it off had to cancel my card bc there were several charges for 40-55 dollars that I never made and they couldn’t help with that either ridiculous there lucky I don’t go the news with this crap! I literally was told the total would be 1100 total it costed me 2100 after every time they ripped me off I had to cancel my card just to stop the charges because as I said it literally sent my account into the negative over there over charging not to mention there was mold in the bathroom and a rag jammed around the pipes to prevent water from leaking (I have pictures!) it was bad! Never again
Desired outcome: I feel like the stay should have been free after everything My poor family went through I want my money back!!!! I was robbed and given a moldy room
These are all the charges I was over charged the broken machine in the arcade as well as the mold on the wall paper and the rag jammed into the pipes to prevent leaking
Great Wolf Lodge - Specific room booked / reserved unavailable upon arrival
I booked our stay in June after spending over an hour on the website chat and then on the phone to book a whirlpool room that showed available but wasn't allowing me to book it. The issue or glitch was finally resolved and booked. Upon arrival today (9/28) at the front desk we were informed our room was unavailable. Obviously spending as much time as I did to book the whirlpool room meant it was the only room we wanted. It provides much more entertainment for the kids and us and we absolutely would not have come here this week had we known earlier. The kid cabin room we were given instead provided the kids a solid five minutes of entertainment. I'm surprised how casually this is handled by the hotel.
Great Wolf Lodge - employment/ coworkers / hr
I am completely astonished. I have worked for this company for over a year and ever since I have worked there I have been treated so poorly by management. I was working as a room attendant (person who cleans the room) and if you work hard enough, you get a raise as long as you keep consistency. Everybody else was promoted before me and I got it about 7 months after everybody else. I was just as good, maybe even better and I was shot down and pretty much told to go away when I brought it up. The supervisors do such a hard job and they all tried to help me but upper management pretty much looked the other way. Upper management is a completle joke. They hire anybody they want and favorite who they want. They let anybody into the supervisor positions and one of them bosses other people around while she doesnt do anything. She lies, talks badly about everybody and brags about her wage and getting people fired. All she does is stand around and talk while everybody else works. I unfortunately suffered two miscarriages while working here, and one of them happened in the bathroom and my boss had found me and pointed me for leaving work to go to the hospital. The second one they gave me like a paid leave, and they didnt pay me for 8 weeks! My paycheck was like 200 dollars and i'm sorry but nobody can live off of that. I tried to talk to the general manager of the property and he walked away not caring. I even brought it up to hr multiple times and nobody has done anything about it. The whole place is a joke. I've been harassed by coworkers, and higher ups. I haven't even recieved an apology from the director of housekeeping because it was her fault I didnt get paid. All the rooms have black mold. Every one. All the showers, the roof is bad. Whole building needs to be fixed. I will be calling every single day until this is resolved. Nobody should have to go through what I did here. I gave my 100 percent and they all walked over me like I was nothing. Well maybe most they should see why there is a high turn over rate and actually help their employees.
Great Wolf Lodge - bed bugs and horrible customer service
Horrible time dealing with this nonsense at Great Wolf Lodge. I attend you hotel in a fun kids cabin arriving on April 6th 2019 in room 309. We got checked into our hotel room around 4:30. We had some fun and went down to the water park. We got back in to the hotel took showers and went to bed. My daughter start out on the kid cabin mattress and then end up in bed with me on the pull out couch. Which I believed would be okay to sleep on. I woke up on April 8th to my daughter covered in bites as I looked at her body I figured bed bugs. I called the manager to come up to look as well. A manager named Lyndsey showed up at the door As she called someone to come inspect the room two men from maintenance showed up. All they did was take the mattress cover off and check the bed. And only check the pull out couch. Cleared it as fine. And suggested bed bugs don't bites don't show up for three days which was incorrect. And stated that for as many bites as my daughter has there would be hundreds which is also incorrect. The manager had suggest chicken pox and I stated she has been vaccinated which Lyndsey end up saying her kids got chicken pox after being vaccinated as well. As the manager Lyndsey suggested I go to the walk in clinic to declare what it could be I did. I had to leave the hotel with my daughter and go to the walk in that opened at 12 (noon) so I've been now dealing with this for 3 hours. When I did the doctor confirm as professional as possible they were bed bugs but said the lining, and bites were consistent with bed bugs and even wrote a letter which is in the pictures. After 5-6 hours of dealing with this nonsense and my daughters only Full day at the water park I got back to the hotel and spoke with Lyndsey again and told her what the doctors note stated. As she stated there was nothing she could do because the room was "cleared" after I asked for a refund for my stay and a new room they finally offered us a new "upgrade room." The upgrade was not an upgrade as the front door wouldn't even close properly, and the upstairs neighbors sound like a stampede of cows going through the rooms. The bathroom door didn't close properly and had a lingering smell of urine. The pest control was called and arrived on April 9th 2019 and kevin which was the guy stated he didn't find any bugs. Or any sign of bugs. I decided to go to the room 309 with him so he could show me and explain how it was negative. He stated he worked for great wolf lodge which would be bias and could easily help great wolf lodged reputation. He then also stated that it could be a spider bite and then I said well then she got bite by something and he then stated there are to many bites for it to be a spider. He then only showed me and "cleared" the couch mattress with me and not maintenance nor Kevin the pest control showed me or I believed check the kid cabin mattresses. Kevin the pest control cleared the room by checking the mattress and inspecting it with his iphone flashlight. He has only a clipboard and no flash lights, black lights, magnifying glasses or anything. I'm confused to how you can clear a room of bed bugs when there was atleast 10 holes in the bottom of the mattress which Lyndsey the manager stated she had no idea there was any holes in the mattress because she didn't see any holes which there are about 10 so I don't know how she couldn't. And both of these inspections had been done during the day! He said it could be an allergic reaction to the pool chemicals as well. When I told him I had a doctors note stating it was consistent with bed bugs he said the doctor wasn't the professional he was. While his iPhone flash light was still out being used to inspect the bed. Then yet again suggested it to be a rash. I asked for a copy of the inspection and got this copy in the pictures which you can barley read. I was told by a manager named Jon I would get a refund for my Sunday night stay sense my day was wasted. Not only was my Sunday wasted my Monday was wasted waiting for the inspection that I did to be done. From my inspection you can clearly tell in the pictures sent there is traces of bed bugs and bites on my daughter. We then go to check out on April 9th and they state they have NO record of us in the kid cabin room which would of been 309. And we received a receipt of our stay and it stated we check in to the "upgraded" room which was 326. Which is not the room we check into and now makes me believe you guys are trying to cover up this situation. Not only do I believe this situation is trying to be cover up, I believe you guys do not want to give me my full refund back like I deserve and more because of the hassle I've had to deal with after being at the hotel and for this horrible experience. I spent less time doing things with my daughter and making memories because I was trying to make sure no one else or their kids get bite like my daughter has. My stay was from april 6th 2019 to April 8th 2019.
control” cleared was room 309 in the copy I have in the pictures. This hotel has given me the complete run around to save their own [censored] as my 2 year old was bite by something and that is completely clear. I will not be coming back here and there costumer service is horrible. I will never return to great wolf lodge and anyone I hear speaking about this hotel I will let them know how horrible it was. I am beyond disappointed in the actions of this hotel to cover up a situation that happened with a child. And the hotel is suppose to be beyond Kid friendly. And yet still on April 11th my daughter still has the bites on her and are healing. And I am still doing laundry from my trip because you guys didn’t give me my money back in full to be able to treat and handle this situation and instead thought it would be best to cover up what was going on. And try to give us less because in the receipt there trying to give us a refund for the day of April 9th 2019 which would of been that Monday. Not the Sunday I was offered. I will be continuing to contact everyone I can until I feel like my daughter gets justice for what has happened to her at your water park resort.
