Hello, my husband and I have been customers for years. We recently purchased a large amount of paint for our house that was very good quality. I went to Sherman Williams Arnold Store on August 12th to purchase the least expensive can of black paint for an outdoor firewood stand. I told the employee that I wanted the cheapest can of flat black outdoor paint. The other employee asked what it was for. I told him it was for an outdoor firewood stand, my husband wanted the cheapest flat black paint that you have. He told the first employee a number to go and mix. When she checked me out it was $50.35. I asked her, is that the cheapest? She said no, but its the best. I felt obligated to buy it since it was mixed. However, I was furious because I know you sell cheaper outdoor paint. Furthermore, it was not what I asked for. I also felt that the male employee took advantage of me being a female and not knowing paint. In addition, my husband was mad at me for buying $50 paint. This experience makes us what to buy our future paint from another store. I know the second employee thought he was doing his job up selling, however, he should listen to what their customer asking.
