Truck Driver : Illinois License Plate - 576 225 ST
Your truck driver was holding up traffic in and out of the parking lot from 12:50 pm to 1:35 pm and when asked to move so another truck could back in to do a delivery, he gave a nasty attitude and said he doesn't have to move nowhere until he feels like it because he works for Sherwin. This type of behavior is not acceptable and should not have an outcome of rude and negative interactions with a customer or employee.
Desired outcome: I'd like a response about what was done to ensure this truck driver gets proper training on how to do his job and be professional towards others, regardless of situation.
Super paint, paint and primer
I recently bought a bucket of Super paint, paint and primer and after applying to an existing wall, previously cleaned, it completely failed! I had a new home built, closed in August of 2021. The upstairs exterior paint has faded from a dark blue to a washed out grey. During, and after my one year warranty period with Ryan Homes, I tried to get them to repaint my second story. They told me fading is normal and wouldn't do anything for me, and suggested I contact Sherwinn-Williams directly. I have photos of the day of closing and a more current one showing the blue is clearly grey. They are PDF so I would be happy to send them throught e-mail. The houses built before me, and after me with the same color scheme, are still blue. There is no way this is normal fading. My neighbors call it the purple house.

Hyde wallpaper scoring tool and customer service.
I bought the scoring tool on 2-21-23 from the Solon Ohio Sherwin Williams store. It broke. On 2-26-23 I went to the Bainbridge Ohio store to return in.
I was told that I had to return it to the Solon store where I bought it and that as it was not a Sherwin Williams product I probably would not get a refund.
Huh? I mentioned to the woman who I believe was the manager that this is 2023. If I buy an item at one Home Depot I can return it to any Home Depot. If a non-Home Depot item breaks, they stand behind it. She (nicely) said: Too Bad.
And Amazon. No problem returns. No issues with broken items.
I have to think that the woman was incorrect in what she told me and that I can return a Sherwin Williams purchase to any Sherwin Williams store. And that if an item breaks, my money will be refunded.
Please let me know what the policy is.
I am a Clevelander. I want to see SWP do well and continue to employ people here. Again: I can't believe the policy as stated to me by the Bainbridge store, I think, manager is correct.

I regularly shop the Kenton Ohio Sherwin Williams location and it is absolutely freezing inside the store. I'm sure those temperatures are not the best for paint and the poor employees cannot get warm. Something needs to be done to make it a better work environment. I've heard several other customers complain about the temperature as well. One employee stated they have no heat and nobody will fix it due to cost. Medical bills from sick employees will probably cost more.
Please do something to improve the conditions for all those involved.

I have been a victim of harassment,discrimination,prejudice,defamation of character,mental abuse,by the store manager.i have multiple accounts on record and on text.he treats ppl like thr beneath him.he has also on acassion sold sherwin williams material out the back door from left overs from the installers to other competing flooring stores to fatten his wallet.he allows persons of interest to keep sherwin williams property in thr storages for their own benefit as well.this is clearly not a man that should be in charge of ppl let alone a multi million dollar company. He has repeatedly exploited the installers and sherwin williams clients. He cooks the books to fatten his profit checks. Ruidoso store.
I am a contractor in Ruidoso New Mexico I do a lot of business in your store in Ruidoso, however I’m about to pull my business from that location. I have noticed your new employee at that location is always by her self. And today the rudest employee Jessica was back I thought she was gone. But now she’s back well your new employee I don’t know her name she doesn’t have a name on her shirt, she was trying to help me and Jessica came up not in a training mode just blew her off and took over and when that new employee kept trying to ask her a question she blew her off. So that new employee walked to the back and stood by I guess their paint desk with a sad look on her face. Jessica then told me that the only reason why she’s there is because nobody else would apply for that job that it was months that that job was open. And she’s the only one that applied but there’s nothing really special. That Troy told her that that this morning because she is going to take over as manager Jessica is. I noticed that Troy doesn’t talk to this poor employee either he walks right by her he doesn’t give her any kind of direction he doesn’t train her. I feel very bad for this girl and there was a lady that was getting some paint today and this lady was talking to that new employee again I witnessed Jessica taking over and blowing this employee off finally the employees clocked out and walked out. I have noticed this for a long time and just turned the other way but I saw the look on this employees face and I could see the hurt on her face and I felt like I needed to say something. If Jessica is the manager of the store after Troy leaves I will pull all of my business from your whole total company and just do business with Home Depot. Jessica smokes in the store I have seen her I have heard her cuss. She is very immature hot tempered I have witnessed her backtalk customers, And then soon as they turn around to walk out she’s talking about them to me she has talked about Troy to me she has talked about Will to me. And even her and her words girl Meredith I am tired of doing business with a store that has that kind of employees. The other employees that you have are good.
Desired outcome: A different assistant manager. In my opinion Meredith should be there assistant manager she’s more knowledgeable she’s kind and she doesn’t smoke or cuss on your floor
Service from Meadville Pa Sherwin Williams
I went into Meadville,PA Sherwin Williams at 10am Saturday October 29th. I ordered my paint online and told the gentleman working. I told him I'd like to add to my order and he said he couldn't do that once I placed the order online. So I asked him if I could pay for it separately and have it as a separate order and he said I could. I then waited for for my paint as he spoke with someone else in the store..he never asked me for anything else then pushed the 4 gallons of paint to me and said here you go...No thank you or can I help you out to your car with that...I am 52 years old and I can usually handle things myself but I had to set the paint on the ground to unlock my car and put the paint in. I know $200. worth of paint might not seem like much but I've never been treated like I was so dumb and I felt like I was a inconvenience to the man working. From now on I will go to the Erie Sherwin Williams at least they are pleasant when I go in there!
Desired outcome: Train the employee on customer service!
Location and Managers
Salem, VA. Managers don't do their jobs, force the ONE warehouse employee to do almost everything. Gene who is an assistant manager refuses to do his job and dumps it on the ONE warehouse employee. Contractors have made over 100 complaints and Micah the manager does nothing. Gene takes off for vacations almost weekly and is always approved if anyone else tries it's denied and they are forced to carry the weight on the missing assistant manager and their job, on top of said "assistant manager" running from problems or complaints and ignores phone calls for hours from businesses ans contractors. They screw over contractors and about to lose their contractors and what employees they have. This is not a sherwin Williams employee, this is a contractor complaining. Contractors have also started quitting from this location due to Gene and Micah's behaviors.
Desired outcome: Get better management to run the warehouses and not dump everything on ONE employee and contractors.
Racist Employee
I witnessed one of your senior managers by the name of Doug Garland act in a very racist manner at a business establishment in North Carolina. He insulted an employee during a confrontation by asking if the person spoke English when it was obvious that the employee was an American citizen and they were conversing in the English language. But apparently b/c the employee was an African American, he felt the need to be even more condescending. If this is the face of your company, I will NEVER do business with Sherwin-Williams b/c he is a piss-poor representation of your company! I pity the employees he manages!
Desired outcome: He needs to attend race sensitivity trainings as well as anger management meetings b/c he is in desperate need of guidance.
Cashmere eggshell paint
We hired a professional painter and they used Cashmere Eggshell on our walls. Five months later we used a wet towel to wipe a mark on the wall. This resulted in a water stain mark on the wall. We did not use detergent just a damp towel and now we have water marks from the towel. The entire wall needs to be repainted. Since it is the foyer, we will need to hire another painter. Very disappointed.
Desired outcome: We would like to be reimbursed for the paint job since it needs to be redone.

Hey sherwinwilliams this worker car of yours almost hit us as we were getting over into the exit lane at Mill Street in San Bernardino around 3:30pm on June 10, 2022, where the 215 and the 10 Merge in San Bernardino. They illegally passed on the shoulder about three cars behind us and almost hit us. My daughter let out a scream as they were very close to us, and trying to get into our lane from the shoulder, and I tried to swerve but there were cars next to us so I couldn't move much. Thankfully no one got hurt this time, but this driver is very irresponsible and a very bad driver.

I have purchased over a million dollars' worth of Sherwin Williams paint in my life and I'm so sick of the dealers in Dubois PA trying to get as much as they can from their sale to me! It makes me sick to my stomach just walking in their store.
About one year ago I swore I would not set foot again in the Dubois Sherwin Williams store! Before I left, I told the manage why!
So one more chance I thought because about a year had passed before I called them to order a product called Silver Britte and I was quoted a price of $48.95 per gallon in 5 gallon containers
So I wanted to give them one more chance to not try to rip me off !
The store called me when the product was in and even though memories of being sick to my stomach came rushing forward when I saw the manager I picked up my order. I felt better when leaving until I looked at my bill and the manager once again gouged me and charged me over $71.00 per gallon. That's almost $23.00 per gallon and on my 20 gallon order that came to over $400.00
So once again I had been screwed so I turned around and showed the manager and asked her why ? She told me the girl that quoted me had not put the price she quoted me on the phone in the computer.
Why would that matter I asked myself if I'm a contractor and have been buying from you for 20 years in PA and 20 years in Florida shouldn't you automatically give me your best price.

The product performance on Tread Plex that was sold to go over a preexisting product they ordered for the YMCA in Bigler PA was the incorrect product.
the Clearfield Sherwin Williams sold them about $1100.00 of tread plex and it didn't even stick to the paint they sold them five years before.
Desired outcome: REFUND for YMCA of $1100 or credit for future purchase
Tullahoma store pointed out SCOTT, the painter
My wife hired SCOTT the painter , Charles Bancheek upset the painter, painter start destruction of private property, by slopping paint on vinyl siding , and top of kitchen cabinets , splattering floors . REAL WINNER ! VERY PROFESSIONAL ! SCOTT . Have not cleaned mess on top of kitchen cabinets, MAY BE I WILL ADD PHOTO IN ANOTHER COMPLAINT. THIS GUY CHARGES BY HOUR ,SO HE DEFINITELY IS NOT A GO GETTER
