Ace Hardware

I am a 26 year old independent female with keys that were incorrect when moving into my new apartment that I purchased at ace hardware in burnt hills, ny. The owner came over to the register and refused to refund them for me even though I was purchasing new ones they already made. I had given the incorrect ones to the counter clerk with my reciept and she said she it wouldn't be a problem. He told me that is wasn't his fault that they were incorrect and once I started to ask what his refund policy was and get a explaination why he wouldn't refund them he started getting angry and rude which continued to escalate within the 5 minutes it took for me to purchase the items and leave the store. He was mumbling louder and louder behind my back and I got heated and asked him to stop talking to me so I could just purchase and leave. But he said "I am the owner I can talk however I want to". He was screaming across the store at me! Then totally discriminated against me and "my generation". I am sorry but just because I am young and female I will not just let some jerk walk all over me. I am not just going to accept something I don't have a resonable explaination for. I came home and "googled" burnt hills ace hardware and read all the reviews which were all similar complaints of the owner. The only good ones are from some company not even from real customers. This guy needs to be shut down! I recommend never going to this place i've never experienced such a rude person in my life and I have worked in since I could work and I have never in my life been treated so rudely. How dare someone stereotype me and treat me so rudly just because I look younger than I am, let alone a business.
