ON April 20 2021 I came to the Sprint/ T-Mobile store located in 245 three springs drive, Weirton WV 26062 The staff were very helpful, courteous and did their best to help us with the problem with our daughter's Cell phone.
She wanted to trade her phone for an upgrade or get a replacement of the same model "Samsung Galaxy Note". I was informed that in order to upgrade and get a promotional discount the telephone had to be repaired, prior to upgrade and be eligible for a discount. The nearest T-Mobile/Sprint store that had the service is located at 114 TRINITY POINT DR, WASHINGTON PA. [protected]).. This store is located about 1hour and 30-45 minutes from my home in OHIO. On Thursday 22 April 2021 we drove to Washington, PA. As we entered the store I approached the representative whom was behind the counter and explained to her my issues and added that I wish my telephone to be repaired. she responded that this facility does not have the parts for this particular telephone. I asked her if she had the address or telephone number and she replied no, I do not have it. the purpose of this electronic complaint is to stress to Sprint /T mobile the importance of proper costumer service etiquette which I may add this representative lack of those costumer service qualities. I phoned the 800 number to verbally get my point across and at the same time ask if each and every store has those information for costumers in the event it is needed, approached explained the situation about the phone and what the other staff at the other T-Mobile store had recommended in order for my daughter to receive a credit for an upgrade. She informed me, that parts for this particular SAMSUNG model were not available at their store and that I would have to take it to another T-Mobile store in MONROEVILLE, PA. another 1hour or more away from their location... I didn't have the address or phone to this other store, so I ask her if, she had the number or address to the store. I was told that she didn't have the phone and the address was up to me to find out... I am not sure if, she was having a bad day or just didn't like me... I notice the other clerk looking over but he, didn't offer any assistance either... I step off from the service desk and moved to the back of the store and between myself and my wife were able to find the right store after calling 1 wrong number at some MONROEVILLE MALL, which directed me to the right store to call. I was able to talk to some very helpful individuals at this store and they gave me, directions on how to get there... I guess my problem with the female clerk is as follows: 1- Why are you behind the desk, if you are not going to go the extra mile to help me resolve my problems. 2- How hard could it had been for her to look up the correct address in her computer for the MONROEVILLE store or at least the phone number (NO LINE OF CUSTOMERS INSIDE OR OUTSIDE!. 3- A smile goes along way with customers, and it's free. 4- If, she's not happy with her job maybe she needs to find one, where she will be happy, it was apparent by the tone of her voice)..
Desired outcome: Company customer service training, focusing on friendly greeting of all customers..
