AMC Theatres

I went to the AMC 30 cinema in Mesquite, Texas on 3/25/2023 to see the movie John Wick 4 with me and my son. I paid extra for the seating because of the "comfort" of a recliner due to me having a bad back. The theater room was packed. I even had to reserve the seating of my son I row in front of me. He was on "J16" while I was on "K16". There was strangers next to me which was fine. Seating was limited so I understand. The problem was that 15 min into the movie, I reclined my seat which consisted of my feet being in the air. My recliner stopped working and would not go back to original position. I had to wait for the movie was over to be able to get off my seat since I had to literally jump on to the next chair over. When the movie was over I went to customer service desk area and ask for a refund but instead was told by a crew member and also the manager on site that they could only offer me a 20% discount on my next popcorn purchase. even though I explained what happened I was treated like I was a deliquent and just wanted a free show. which was not the case. This is truly a FIRE HAZARD to not have access to the exit. I will be following up on this complaint with hopes of this not happening to someone else again.

My husband and I went on Sunday 9/15/19 to see the 7pm showing of the new IT movie.

-The concession area where you get our drinks was very dirty on the counter and floor. Most of the machines did not have any ice.

-The women's restroom was completely out of soap to wash your hands and the restroom was very dirty. I went to try to let someone know at will call but no one was there.

-Inside the movie, there were several groups of people jumping around in seats as people were coming in to claim their chosen seats. There should be an attendant inside the movie to ensure people actually have a ticket to see the movie and in their seats.
