Friday February 19 I was in the Clintonville store #2204. I was looking at the batteries near the back of the store. When I as well as pretty much all of the other customers could hear the manager Christy Roeceler talking in the back with the delivery drivers. She told the drivers that she recently fired the newer driver, (that by the way my shop as well as the rest of the shops in town just loved!) Becky was a fifty something grandma who's family fell on hard times since the covid. So after many yrs of staying home raising you children and caring for her elderly parents Becky chose O Reilly's to help her family. And seriously she was great. Always smiling. A good morning or afternoon depending on the time. One thing we noticed she did differently was she would always check with one of us to be sure what she had delivered was the correct part for the job we were working on. Becky told us the Clintonville store needed a second driver so desperately that her training was a one day ride along and she was in the truck by herself the next day. I am being very truthful when I tell say nobody could tell she had such little training. This is why when my wife and I were listening to manager Christy telling drivers she fired Becky because she could and if corporate didn't like it... Then it was time for them to eat [censored] and die. Christy had gone so far as to say without lowering her voice, that Becky cried and begged not to be fired because her family needed this job. Christy the manager then said Becky was being ridiculous. Then she walked out into the store passed us.Actually still laughing. My wife told me we were leaving! She said there was no way we were buying anything from that woman so we went to down the road to Napa. And we are considering not using first call at our three ships in town. if O'Reilly's don't make this right with the absolutely devastated Becky and get rid of that Witch manager Christy i'm pretty sure we are not the only shops to stop our first call service. Please fix this! What Christy did for no good reason was bad enough, but when we heard her bragging about it, that was too much. Almost can't believe corporate would think her eat [censored] comment is in anyway acceptable from an employee! It's time for her to move out of our town. Thank you for having this spot to hear our concerns.
Desired outcome: With an employee like that the only out come that make sense is to get rid Christy.and rehire Becky ! There are a lot of us out here pulling for her to come back. How O'Reilly's handle this agreejis event will say slot about your company
