My doctor's office told me to go to the Urgent Care because they were concerned about the issues I was having with a head injury. The issues were getting worse over a period of a week. Urgent care told me I needed to go to the ER, because they were the ones that can order imaging. Not only did Mr. Barsch not order any imaging, he completely lied in the notes he took. He stated I only complained about a bruise on my face. NO ONE goes to the ER for a bruise. I was experiencing bouts of dizziness, nauseousness, I had a big bump on my head, and the pain in my head was getting worse and spreading out. He then told me to see a dr if the pain was worse. It WAS worse already. He then just stated again 'if it's gotten worse see a dr". He also stated a fell down, which I never said, because that never happened. He also told me he needed to feel the bump, because he could diagnose a fracture that whey. He's just a liar, who makes up things on a whim, just to get out of doing anything.
Desired outcome: Updated notes, that aren't a complete lie.
Aurora Health Care - Lab department
Once again my daughter's visit was a total nightmare. Arrived at 3pm did not do the ultrasound blood draw until after 4pm. First poke was 4 minutes of digging around by an incompetent, excuses filled, unprofessional and uncaring technician. After withdrawing the first poke and allowing blood to run down her arm, he proceeded to poke her again and dig. Every time I have brought my daughter for labs there is an issue. Even after speaking with the supervisor and being assured things would improve. My daughter broke down on the ride home due to this last fiasco.
Desired outcome: Assurance from the hospital director that steps have been taken to prevent my daughter from having to go through such an extreme experience ever again.
Aurora Health Care - emergency room and my own dr
On thurseday Nov 15 I was taken by ambulance to er with severe hip pain and a fall at home. once at the er they ran ct cervical spine wo contrast, ct head wo contrast. ecg hip ct xr hip 2-3 view left and pelvis. Which revealed severe arthritis in left hip they gave me 2 500mg of tylenol (which I was takeing at home with no relief) I a patch to put on my hip. No pain meds nothing went home with level of pain 10 as when I came in. next day called my dr for appt and pain medication 8 am they returned the call at 4 pm and I was told to go back to er for pain medication. With this much pain it makes walking even more painful. So I was in severe pain for 48 hrs which was er and my dr. negligence I feel I should be compensated for the pain which was severe the whole 48hr.
The physician at the er was Emmie A Chen MD
