This is to bring to your notice about a very disappointing experience of mine with vijay sales.
Recently I bought a brand new Redmi Note 12 5G phone on 2nd Nov.2023 from vijay sales (Attapur, hyderguda)
The device seems to be defective piece as i was facing few issue with the device like the network was dropping off frequently and shows no signal even the 5G network seems to be too slow that it wont open the Youtube videos i have to factory reset the device or put it on aeroplane mode for some time to get the network back it would work fine for some time then again the same issue
And one more issue is with the file manager as I was unable to open videos directly from the file manager. It was giving me an error and asked me to report a bug.
These issues were brought to the notice of Vijay sales executive Tammim (MI representative) on 5th Nov 2023.
The executive diagnosed the issue and suggested handing it over to vijay sales the next day at 12 pm noon as it was sunday and the service center will not be open.
Next day on 6th Nov 2023 as per the instruction i visited vijay sales to hand it over but Tammim was not present at that time so another executive attended and i explained the issue again and also the conversation happened last night with Tammim. but as i have to hand it over the device i factory reset the device because i did not want to give my personal data which was on mobile. but the second executive did not take the mobile for inspection and asked for video proof of the issue.
As I mentioned earlier, the device will work fine for some time after the factory reset. The same thing was happening this time so I waited for the issue to arise again and collected the videos as proof. and visited vijay sales again on 18th Nov 2023.
This time the same second executive attended me and I showed the video proofs as requested. This time they were asking me to visit the service center and get the deo copy to replace the item. and i clearly mentioned that it's not my duty to visit the service center for a brand new defective device. But still on their request i visited malakpet MI service center.
And to my surprise MI executive clearly denied the replacement as it was past 7 days and as per there policy replacement is only possible within 7 days of purchase. And this was not informed to me anywhere until i visited service center Vijay sales asked me to hand it over to the service center and they will be reporting back by Monday (20/11/2023).
After submitting the phone I went back to vijay sales and explained the situation at service center and clearly mentioned that if the issue is not resolved or arises again i will be handing over the phone to vijay sales and i need full refund of the mobile.
To this @k. venkatesh and @ Md yunous accepted this and gave verbal confirmation that if the issue is not resolved or if it arises again they will refund the full amount i paid for the mobile. but they refused to give me written confirmation in mail
This was a very shameful and disappointing experience i had with vijay sales MR venkatesh instead of looking at the issue was very rude to me and same with MR yunous the when i visited back vijay sales in the afternoon. they were even denying the fact that i visited back vijay sales on 6th Nov 2023 even after the second representative confirmed that i visited then i had to ask them to check security cameras for for confirmation then they accepted that i actually visited and it was vijay sales fault they did not took my issue seriously with in 7 days.
This is the humble request to the senior management to look into the issue and help me with my refund as I don't have any trust on the executive and the managers at vijay sales attapur as they are continually lying and denying the facts. amd do not want to give any written confirmation whatsoever
I am attaching all the invoice and the videos of the issue as a proof please look into it and do needful
If the issue is not looked in i would not have any other option rather then file a case against vijay sales in consumer forum
