Unemployment - pua peuc
The vec have been partially paying unemployment benefits then closing your account, even though your benefits have not been exhausted and not paying pau or peuc. How the hell does the vec office not have a vec repersentitive in their office? This is a travesty of justice and Joyce Fogg and Bill Walton should be immediately fired for ineptness! How can you inherit an antiquated system and not initiate ANY upgrades and act surprised when the pandemic hit! I need answers. EVERY NEWS STATION IN VIRGINIA WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS BAFOONERY AND INCOMPOTENCE. I'm sure they didn't miss any of their pay checks! Now they're setting up fake appointments of which you can't even make within the next year (I SCREEN SHOT EVERY MONTH UNTIL MAY OF 2022, NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE)
Desired outcome: I NEED MY MONEY I EARNED
Vec

Unemployment
Have not recieved my money since February 8 to be exact call numerous times and sent emails with no responses what the world is going on just mention all the late fees I accumulate because my money is being held up
Desired outcome: Please call [protected]
Payments not received
I have filed for unemployment since December of 2020. I received my monetary determination letter for 12/27/2020, effective thru 12/25/2021. I began filing the upcoming week in January of 2021. I have filed every week up until the week of 2/15/2021. I have not received any payments. The only thing I can get off of your automated line is that there is an "outstanding issue". I have not received any type of documentation to inform me of the "outstanding issue". How do I resolve this issue If I do not know what it is?
any help you can give me on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
My phone number is [protected] and my email is [protected]@yahoo.com
Thank you

Customer service 1.866.832.2363
I have been trying to call the customer service number for over 3 weeks. I keep getting the message all reps are helping others. I have even called late at night to see if I get the same response. Yes you can call at 10:30 at night and it still says it helping others. There is a serious problem with the system. You cant get through to anyone no matter what number you call. The web site is not much better it keeps directing you to call 1.866.832.2363 which you cant get through to. I am at my wits end trying to find out why my letters say I was approved for unemployment benefits and when I try to file my weekly ui claim Im being told that I have no weeks to claim. I am sure that I am not the only person who is encountering this situation. Please we need help.
Claims/benefits
No one ever, ever, ever answers the phone. There's the same message no matter what time of day or night you call. No one responds to emails. So unfortunate for people who have worked diligently to be good citizens, like myself, and not be able to receive help when it's needed. Please provide a workable contact number. Develop a new system, hire more people, hire me to help those that need support.
Desired outcome: Response
I!m having the same problem here, call 10 times a day.the automated system just kick you around and around.but has no option button that will conect you to a live person, it is so depression.

Also, did you go to the getgov2go website and apply for PUA. If not you need to do so because once they remove the wages that aren't yours from fairfax county then you should be able to file for pua.

Unemployment
Hello I received a letter from VEC on 3-13 saying that my year end benefits was ending and I need to do a new claim. I filed my claim for the week 3-8-12 on 3-14. I called vec on 3-15 and asked if I need to do a new claim for 2021. I was told yes. Now I've been told that I should have waited to that Wednesday or Thursday to do the new claim and at my accounts messed up. My claim that I did on 3-14 is lost and now the new claim is making me have less money. Each office tells me something different. I just need my money and my account fixed. I've tried for 4 days for hours trying to get in touch with Richmond.
Desired outcome: Fixed the problem
Payment not received
I filed a claim on 2/25/21 and received my monetary determination and pin in the mail. I kept calling the customer service number to get an update and it kept saying I did not have a claim. I refiled my claim last week and received the same pin# in the mail today. I tried calling the [protected] number and only got recordings and never could speak to a human being.
I called the [protected] number today and it said that my continued claim for benefits could not be processed there is an outstanding issue with my claim. If I cannot speak to a live person how do I find out what the issue is that is outstanding? I have called my local vec in Martinsville Va and have left 5 messages and no one has returned my call. I have emailed the VEC and still waiting on a response back. It is going on a month now and I have not received any money nor do I even know if I have been approved or not.
I would just like for a live person to call or email me and let me know what is holding me up from getting paid or if I am even approved.
My email is [protected]@gmail.com and phone number is [protected].
We have received your claim and it is being processed. Your confirmation number is Epa2105513323159f501. (2/25/21)
We have received your claim and it is being processed. Your confirmation number is Epa2107017211020ef01. (3/12/21)
Desired outcome: I would love for a live person to call me or email me and let me know if I have been approved and what the outstanding issue is.
VEC business account will not allow login since new number was issued in 6/2020
I have not been able to access my account since the new number was issued in June 2020. I am receiving late notices and had funds debited from my account. I can not log into the account. I can not see what is due.
Audry Fleming referred me to Arthur Dewey, who I contacted on Jan 11 and have not received a response. I have called and left voice mails as well and sent multiple emails to Arthur and the customer service email. I forwarded the Jan email to Arthur too. I have requested multiple times for someone to please contact me so I can have access to my account. I have gotten no response.
Desired outcome: Access to log into my account so I can see and pay my VEC taxes
Unable to get a response or reply
I've been attempting to call and email since January to get my PIN so I can file. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to go about getting my PIN as my bank information has changed and I've not been able to receive any benefits.
Desired outcome: PIN
No payment
Vec long hold times to only hang up option 3 Customer service is never available. I sent over 50 emails, call Vec multiple times a day to only get no help. I've been waiting months for payment never received.
Desired outcome: Vec helps and reach out
Payments not received.
I have tried calling to speak to a customer service representative for three days now. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. I need to resolve an issue with my claim which just seemed to happened three weeks ago. I need to speak with a human being. I don't understand what's going on. I contacted the customer service office in North Carolina on 3/9/21 with no problem besides the usual holding time, but Virginia is a whole other issue. I need to speak with VEC customer service to further help to resolve my issue.
Have not received months of Unemployment Benefits for 2020 and 2021
Good evening, I received VEC determinations for monetary eligibility detailing a set amounts through the end of 2020 and 2021 and I have yet to receive my money. I have done everything I can within my reach to submit the correct documentation and try to get a hold of anyone and have not received any response from anyone to know what is wrong and why I...

I have been out of work since 12/7/2020. That is the initial day I filed for Unemployment Insurance. I received the notification of benefits letter and the letter with my PIN. My account has been suspended since late December and I have not received any further info, nor have I received any payments. I send an email every week to "file" for benefits that I have yet to receive.
Desired outcome: Unemployment Benefits paid to me in arrears since 12/7/20
No pay, no response
Was determined eligible for PUA at the end of December. Started filing weekly claims online. Have yet to receive payment. Covid lockdowns have ruined my self employment. Not eligible for regular UI. Why was I deemed eligible for PUA if I am not receiving weekly settlements? Wythe office informed me to try for a virtual appointment. Local office unable to...
Read full review of Virginia Employment Commission [VEC]Have not received payments and social does not match pin anymore for some reason
hello my name is Angel Thompson. I filed back when my hours as an Assistant Manager dropped from full time 40 hrs. per week to only weekends 16 hrs. part time at 711 store at 4718 Jefferson Davis hwy (Barnett & Whitfield) in April 2020. I received payments as normal but I only received 3 payments of the 600.00 bonus at the time. In August 2020 I had to leave my job altogether to be at home with my three children for virtual school. I received my regular unemployment of 148.00. January 31, 2021 my payments stopped for couple weeks and I got hold of a nice lady and she told me she would fix it and call me next day but I never got a call back. and then I received only three payments of the 300.00 bonus in January. 01/12/21 received $300.00, 01/14/21 received $412.20, last deposit was 01/22/2021 received $330.00 . I did apply again which lady on phone I spoke to said that was ok and I have been calling every Sunday filing my weekly certification. my biggest issue right now is when I try to do anything on automated line it tells me my PIN 926403 does not match my social security number [protected]. I really need to speak to someone to fix this issue. I am still at home with kids doing virtual school and I'm on the verge of losing my house. also I have to call every Sunday to file weekly certification and when I do I enter my social and the pin I've had whole time and it proceeds but it does not give me the option or allow me to do anything on my gov2go acct, it tells me I'm already enrolled. I haven't received a payment since mid January. I have confirmation dates that i did not get paid for yet and past four weeks when I've done weekly certifications I haven't received any confirmations on.

I have only been receiving one payment a month I am now 7 weeks behind I have filled and completed all Vec requirements when I call it say my claim can not be processed due to a outstanding issue with my claim I called Vec the said I needed to file Peuc 2021 so I did that over the phone but it still say I have a outstanding issue with my claim and I have not received any payment and now I'm so far behind to wait any long would be a mistake.
Desired outcome: Payment for weeks claimed
Benefits complaint
I filed my initial unemployment claim on 1/11/2021, and have not been able to reach anyone by phone on-going. My employer terminated me on 11/11/2020, and your automatic system said there is a problem with my claim, yet no one can be reached by phone to discuss further. I did fax documents to support me being terminated along with mutual signed document that agreed to Shelor Motor Mile wouldnt contest me being awarded benefits; Therefore, you have yet to advise me further as to what needs to be done or is being done? I am prepared to escalate my concerns, so please contact me at [protected] or [protected]@gmail.com with an update. Leslie Stowers 821454 id# 3880 Roanoke St-Christiansburg, VA 24073.
Desired outcome: backpay and continued payment of weekly benefits
