Peuc not being processed
I was approved for PEUC back in December and there is a hold on my account for a form that is not needed. I was told since I worked for an educational institution before my unemployment that a B-25 form must be filed out by my previous employer. After speaking with 2 different local employees, I was told that they would contact the customer care department in Richmond to let them know that I didn't need the form. I have not received a payment since the first week of December and the app let me complete a claim each week. I call almost everyday to the customer service number and can never get a representative. This experience with the customer care number is just horrendous. After hours of calling and pushing numbers it just hangs up on customers. At this point I'm not sure that anyone ever answers the number at all. I need help now, money has run out and I cannot seem to get help at all.
Desired outcome: Hold removed and claims paid for missing weeks
Unemployment payments
I have not received an unemployment check since 12/02/20, but my filing is accepted each week on your phone line at [protected]. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something more I need to do? When will I receive these benefits? I am having a very hard time without them! The lack of real information from the VEC is appalling! There are many of us trying to get by during this pandemic. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Desired outcome: Get my money paid to me.
Same problem. Not able to find out what the problem is to even try to resolve the issue. Phone lines are always busy, but I have a phone, email and text and regular mail I feel they should have reach out to me before it was time to pay me Feb 9th. Now I stuck in limbo how can I get this resolve
Payments on hold since mid december
My name is Stephen Ryder I have been receiving pua during 2020 and my benefits carried over to 2021 but I haven't been paid in 6 weeks now due to my claim being on hold. I am a father of 4 with a broken down vehicle and I am the sole bread winner in my house I've filed my taxes for the year 2019 and I been told my account is on hold due to not working. I can't get ahold of anyone that can help me fix this I can only reach out to Richmond who says they can see everything but can't help me. Please for the love of GOD somebody help me.

Desired outcome: Need to get my account off of hold.
Yes we need help and not the run around. If we don't know the issue we can't resolve it. So when will we ever get paid. Themed call in number is a joke. Why don't they have it so that your call can't be que in instead of having to keep calling to no avail.

Unemployment
I have been filing since August 2020. I recieved my pin and a way2go card. Then nothing else I dont know if I have been denied or just missing something. You cant get anyone on the phone. It is my 1st time filing as my own business owner. And I cant get any help.
Desired outcome: Payment or correspondence
Backpay
I won my appeal back at the beginning of oct. 2020 a week after that my pay was stopped for some reason. To this day i still have not been told why they stopped my unemployment. And that has been almost 4 months. I call and call and call with the same results no answer. And then i would like to know how to get my money that was left in the accts and benefits acct. So as of right now vec is holding 20000 dollars from me and iam out here struggling to find work doing the best i can but i would like whats mine
Desired outcome: I would like my money and unemployment for the month of jan
7 months after filing and I am still waiting
I filed a claim in the beginning of July 2020. Here it is, almost 7 months later, I am still waiting for my funds and/or notification. In the rare event I am able to get in contact with a human, I am told the same thing, "outstanding issues." I have sent dozens of emails to them and the last response I received was one being very rude from someone named Tammy. According to Tammy, I need to look on the VEC site for a job and stop emailing them.
Most of the time, when I call, I hear the automated voice telling me to call later. I don't know what else to do.
Desired outcome: My claim be paid
I am hoping this helps. I have exhausted all of my options.
So sad they can and should send out correspondence to the people to let them know what the issue is at the least how can you fix something if u don't know what's broken
Payments not received
My name is Darrell J. Hansboro. I'm writing because I have yet to receive any unemployment compensation. I applied for benefits back in September of 2020 and haven't received a callback or any type of communication from anyone. Although I continue to file my weekly claim, I check and it tells me that there's an outstanding issue on my claim, but no one has/will contact me and my creditors are not accepting that. PLEASE will someone reach out to me to help resolve this matter. I have whatever documentation needed to support my claim of not being able or available for work at this time.
Desired outcome: timely response would be greatly appreciated
Unemployment insurance
It has been over a month since I've received any money and every time I tried to call the number I can't get through to a human being. I tried to live chat and they don't give me any information other than what I already know. How do I get my claim to be pushed through so I can get this money? What is going on? What do I need to do and who do I need to talk to in order to get this done? It has been over a month and I have bills to pay and I am struggling because of this pandemic.
Unemployment insurance payment
They made a mistake and tried to use another checking account that isn't mine. I checked the online system and indeed my checking account information was current and correct! Now they are saying several more weeks! I waited over six months for a determination and now they fumbled the deposit of funds.
VEC is absolutely horrible. The system is crap and they don't give a flying f*%k.
Your Virginia Government at work doing everything absolutely at bottom rung level of customer service. Just pathetic.
Desired outcome: Deposit of my unemployment funds!
Cant reach a vec representative
I recently had to reopen my unemployment claim- after getting the go ahead to file my weekly claim for week ending 1-2-2021 I did so successfully or so I thought- that was late in the week on Saturday- I then needed to file my claim for the week ending 1-9-2021 the following day which was Sunday- when I went to gov2go to do so my filing week went back to week ending 10-17-2020 which was when I stopped filing weekly certifications because I went back to work- I filed all the past weekly certifications to get to the current week-that was the only way to get to the week I needed to file for- now the automated system is saying that my claim cannot be processed because of a continuing issue with my weekly claim even though the amount of available benefits has been reduced by the amount of $378.00 which is one week of unemployment payments- I have tried for weeks and made over 100 calls to vec and also tried to get answers on the chat option to no avail- the only people who actually answer the phone cannot help with my claim because they have no access to my information and yet they have numerous people who answer and send you to the same number that is unreachable- why?hoe can I resolve this issue if I cant reach anyone and the people who I can reach cant help? this is a major issue
Desired outcome: please contact [protected] Jennifer Stevens
Re: concern of why I can't file my weekly claim?
Nov. 17.2020 I file for reopening my unemployment and it said that it was accepted. I received my Monetary Determination Compensation letter that was sent out on12/14/20. I received it 12/21/20 then I received my pin # number 12/24/2. I tried to file my weekly claim and it would not accept my pin saying that I wasn't registered, and that I need to call Customer Service [protected]. I have been calling that number since Nov. 17, 2020 and can't get through. I start at 8:15am Monday - Friday daily and I continue to cal back to back still no answer Monday Jan.4, 21 I called at 8:15 and was on hold until 3:35pm no answer. I have received numerous confirmation numbers 1. EQA2033415260983
2. RA203631510424e7401
3. RA21006202447679300.

I've filed for EB not eligible, PEUC enrolled, LW enrolled. So please can I PLEASE get some Assistance on if I'm approved or when can I file mt claim. I had applied for unemployment on March 16, 2020, and I received it up until I got a Tmp Assignment on August 31, 20 which it ended on Oct 23, 20 due to COVID-19, so my last date for separation from Lourenco Consultants was Nov. 17, 20 I applied that day online for unemployment. I've been trying ever since. Thank Toy Tammy F. Marshall 1/8/21
No payment for approved benefits
Beauty of big socialist government! No one one is held to account. I filed November 23rd 2020 got my approval letter telling me amount I'm eligible for yet no payment to date, 01/04/2021
Was told to do weekly extension claims which I have done, two on the actual VEC web site and now on Gov2Go, a link they sent me.
I've called, numerous time and continually get disconnected after they tell me in voice recording customer service reps are all busy. I've sent emails and out of the 10 or so I've sent got one call back. That call was because I locked myself out of there system after entering wrong PIN #. I did this purposely because they were supposed to have sent me a PIN# by mail in time to do my first weekly pay/work search update but never received it. I made up PIN numbers to try to gain access but it eventually locked me out missing my first weekly pay extension request.
So a system you pay into all your life, a system I've never used and when needed they aren't there to help. Shameful, people are losing everything and the VEC can't even answer a phone or email. The Gov forced this on us, they need to do something.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive my benifits.
Never received any communication
I filed my claim on august 6, 2020. I have yet to receive any response about my claim. I am not able to go in and file weekly claims any longer! How can my claim be denied or not fulfilled if I have received no-no-no communication. No letter, no email.
I did once hear that I was not being processed because I was still working for the state of virginia. I cleared that up myself-virginia lottery still had me as employed when I had not worked for them since 2012.
I have utilized my retirement and my husband is running out of his as well. We are going to be out of money soon.

Desired outcome: I would like my unemployement money
Vec customer service
To whom it may concern,
I have been trying for 2 months now to reach somebody in customer service I literally call from open to close redial back-to-back-to-back all day long and I can never get through to somebody. So most of the time I call non-stop for 8 hours a day everyday and still no one!. I can't even tell you how many thousands of times i've called it's now been literally thousands and thousands of thousands calls made. I've also emailed close multiple times complaining about this I don't get a response to emails either! There used to be a phone number you can call to file a complaint but now that's an automated system and the app go gov to go. I literally cannot reach anybody they told me to file again for unemployment and a letter that's what I did that was over two months ago and I haven't heard anything. Then they sent me a letter for extended benefits saying that it was approved gave it to me the start date was the day after eb ended, and the letter was dated a week prior yet wasn't mailed off till 2 weeks later. Which I guess doesn't matter because the dates were wrong on it anyways. I'm at my wit's end I don't know what else to do I can't file a complaint, I can't get anybody to answer an email, I am unable to use their app and can't get anybody to answer the phone.
Sincerely,
Savannah Cagle

Cannot reach customer service or complaint lines. Waiting months for answers and benefits
I cannot reach anyone on the customer service phone line, live chat or email. I have been waiting and trying to obtain info about my claim since September. As well as at least 80, 000 of us have been denied or waiting for deputy decisions on claims. They had since March to get this right and now it is a week before Christmas and still nothing. They need to release our benefits immediately! People are suffering losing utilities, homes because of the VEC's poor handling of REAL people's claims. A class action lawsuit should be effected against the VEC and lawmakers that have done nothing more than write letters to intervine and help struggling Virginians.
Non payment / or review
I filed for unemployment on July 13 after quitting my job. My husband is military and had just returned to his new home port from deployment in San Diego July 9, 2020. I quit my job in Virginia on July 6th. We moved across the US so that our family was not separated (we have 3 children) Because I quit, my claim was flagged. I have been waiting 5 months for the adjudication process. And still, they have no timeframe on when that will be. I have emptied my savings. I cannot provide any financial contribution to my family. My husband carries all of the bills and to say money is tight is an understatement. I just want the wait to be over. I've attempted to contact each of the following

Who have all responded that they had forwarded my information to their contact at the VEC, who should be contacting me in regards to my claim. Did the VEC contact me? Absolutely not. Where is the sense of urgency? I've attached the required documentation to my claim in hopes it would make the process easier, but still I wait. I may be waiting even longer.
Benefits / customer service
I filed for unemployment on June 18th, along with another co-worker who was under the same circumstances as I was. Here I am 6 months later, her case is closed and paid, and I found out from previous HR they have not gotten my paperwork. I have called the main local office number and left numerous voicemails no return calls. I have emailed the local office and local office manager, and no responses there. I called the general help number that is urged to call and not only do they not send you to a voicemail, it actually hangs up on you. I have now since emailed commissioners, and directors, and will have to take time off of work in order to go down to the local office just to see if I can speak with someone. I understand they are behind and overwhelmed due to COVID, but for them to not even respond to an email or a voicemail frustrates me. It was one thing when my co-worker was in the same boat as me, but it just upsets me now that I am by myself in this predicament. I just want to receive my backpay, and close this chapter.

to whom it may concern,
this is not a really complain about vec, is just a frustration that I want to bring up. My regular unemployment expired about a month ago, I received the letter to apply for thirteen weeks extension. After many unsuccessful try, one of your representative helped me applied over the phone. I received my determination letter. I would like to know why I have not received any payment yet. Every sunday I filed the weekly claim, but I don't receive payment.
I'm still not working and about to lose my insurance for non payment. I sent many letters to customer service, I wrote two mails about this matter, and I call at least 20 times a day but never received a response by mail, phone or email.
Please can anyone tell me the matter with my application.
Sincerely,
faustin yahpi
