RX # 211730. I choose a Marc Jacob frame and asked the store associate to see if the lense would accommodate bifocals. With assurance, I ordered my Rx to be filled. Came back after a week and picked it up.
I found it difficult to read no matter how far or near, something was not right. I went back to Visionworks and asked them to check and I was told that due to human error the Rx was not filled correctly. A week later, I picked my glasses. Still could not read. Went back for another eye exam and another Rx check. This time I was told by a different associate (Shirley) that the SEG was too low on the lense. The lense was not right for the bifocals. My old bifocals were better than this new one. In other words, the Rx was not only not filled correctly but was getting false assurances. A store manager, sat there and did not offer even an apology. They lost my business and trust. Discounts are not the only way to get customers just incase Visionworks did not know. Show me quality, customer service and integrity.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I agree with your statement "Discounts are not the only way to get customers just encase Vision Works did not know. Show me quality, customer service and integrity". I was just treated with complete disrespect 20 minutes ago at the Vision Works Store located at 700 S. Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, FL. The woman working the counter was of no help. I went and had new lenses put in my frames. Well they prescription was wrong and Vision Works told me that i would have to pay for a new yearly exam b/c my yearly was up in 3 months. They didn't tell me this when i called in to make the appointment or when the doctor wrote me the prescription a month ago. I will never go to another store and will never recommend this company ever again.
I recently went to a visionworks because my insurance covered. I thought the people were friendly, however, to busy to answer my questions. I felt as if they were to busy answer the questions I needed to know.
I left after my eye exam and they told me they would call the next day. They did not, so I called them. They told me my eyeglassees ready for pick up. When I arrived my glasses were not ready. I had already requested transition lenses hours earlier, not filled. I waited two hours. Not living close by, this became a problem. I got nice designer frames, not that cheap by any stretch. As I was walking on out the door, I noticed there was scratches all over the right lens. Looks like it was done during the cutting process. By agreement, I am to return the visionworks yet again when another new lens is to be put in my glasses.
(their fault) But not happy. My new lens will be coming in 10 days and they are to replace it for free. Also my second pair of eyeglasses order are not ready. So basically all I have is my eyeglasses with scratches to wear.
I also felt like I was being rushed through my eye exam. Which made me feel uncomfortable. Optical is a big investment. If I am going to pour out my pocket book I expect quality.
Very dissatified with glasses, buy one get second pair at no charge, they said in one hour then changed it to 8 day's, called me said glasses weren't right it would be 4 more day's, called back after 6 day's they said one pair will be mailed out tomorrow, received then no transistions on them, I paid dearly for these, haven't received any word on the second pair, when they come in, I'm taking both pair's back, she said I could have a refund, yeah right, we'll see, I live 60 miles from there, this is terrible place, wish I had listened to my friends and went to our local doctor!
my son needed glasses.we got the glasses ad he wanted contacts.after trying a weeks worth he decided he didnt want contacts.we had not picked up his ordered contacts.i asked if we could get the offer of by one pair get one pair free.i was told for another $60 and return his only glasses until the insurance could be worked out, an it would take about 30 days.my son col not go without glasses for a month, it made no sense.why take his glasses we already paid for. what a scam and horible people.
Extremely rude claims unable to request the size frames i need for myself to fit. This has been in going for weeks. She suggested I contact Corporate, I said ok I'll try, she said Good Luck
store number 500 in bloomington IND.2894E. third street. IT been 2 months .Order #1670592 Date9/27/2022.
My Medicare covers $300 every 2 years. Exam was 02/09/2022 at 11:20am in Mechanicsburgs PA. Days after I got glasses, I told the mgr lens has no progression. He disagreed. A week later, I again told him the same, He disagreed. Basically, I paid $300 + used insurance for reading glasses and can't use benefit again till 02/09/2024. No 30 day guar.
My glasses not getting very dark outside that I recently ordered. Went to store and said that s dark as they get. Also they taking awhile to get dark. I see on site that extra dark is offered. I may want to get them instead. She didn't offer that to me when I ordered glasses or even yesterday when I went back. I see they are guaranteeded.
I sent a complaint on Tuesday 05/07/2024 concerning this issue. I just want to say how can the optometrist determine the sun doesn't hurt my eyes and please explain if an eye exam will determine if my green eyes are not sensitive to sunlight? I have to wear sun glass winter, summer, spring and fall because of the sunlight bothers my eyes.
