WARNING! Young man came to my door the typical high-spirited salesman. He/Andre told me that I would have a 30-day trial period. I explained that I would only do the 30-day trail and really did not want to get the service at this time. He was persistent so I said gave in and explained that it would only be for the trial period as I had other obligation. His said just try it no commitment needed. However, what he did not tell me was there was only a 3-day trial period. He is in the Brownsburg Indiana area PLEASE be aware of him. He NEVER said anything about a 3-day trial, and I did what I normally do not do and that was I took him at his word. I guess I wanted to believe there are still people out there with integrity and I'm sure there maybe however, this young man is not one of them. I did ask all the right questions regarding the trial period, "how long is the trial period?" Andre stated "30 days" but he did not provide the correct information. Not to mention it was very difficult reading the email that was sent to sign and because I trusted him I signed the information. Andre also wrote down the 30 trial on paper when giving all the information. I called the company after 7 days of service, and I was told that there was NOTHING they could do. I told them about the information that he wrote regarding the 30-day trial. They requested I send them the text and I did. They call Andre and he said that he told me 3 day which was an outright lie. I was told that the only way they would cancel the order is if Andre would have told then the truth that he told me 30-day trial and we know that he was NOT going to do the right thing and tell the truth. After all, he gets commission and that's why he upgraded me the top equipment. Then I was told that there was still nothing that they could do. I asked if there was anyone else, I could speak with, and I was told to contact the customer support team and put in the subject line (legal team) explaining what happened with Andre. I am just here to give a warning. I wish I would have done my research. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL WITHIN THE 3 DAY TRIAL PERIOD YOU ARE IN A 5YR CONTRACT!. If the sales person Andre were to present this information at the start of the conversation I would not be going through this now because I would have said NO! The only thing I was able to do was downgrade and request a discount on the monthly rate. I will not be able to cancel the subscription until the equipment is paid off. Please for the love of God let my stupid mistake be a warning for you. There are other services out there that have integrity and will not put you into a 5yr contract.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be to have this entire order cancelled. The equipment and service.
