This company is a scam. The equipment has not worked and getting someone to fix it takes forever — we never succeeded (I have records). But the biggest scam is that if you try to cancel, prepare to spend all day. Date: 11/1/2023. Time: most of our morning. They asked for a bunch of information, put us on hold multiple times, and then transferred us to a "customer loyalty" person. That person wasted our time asking the same questions we had been asked, then kept trying to sell us on lower price plans: despite the fact that I kept saying that we just want to cancel. Then, *suddenly and out of the blue*, his phone started breaking up and this lasted for maybe 10 minutes. I kept asking if we were canceled, and we heard (broken up) "no." Had to hang up. We called back and after another 30 minutes of holds, transfers, questions, we finally got an email saying our cancelation was "incomplete" but were told if we respond with specific information it would be complete in 30 days. I have no confidence it will be. Fortunately, I'm a lawyer and know class action lawyers. If they do not complete the cancelation, I will post something here looking for fellow plaintiffs. The cost of legal defense will cost them way more than the $62 per month they are trying desperately to hold onto. And we will win because this is blatant. IMO: NEVER do business with this company.
My only hope at this point is this operation gets sued out of business... I was given the impression that I was signing up for a service that could be canceled after the equipment was paid off... I only found out it was a 5 year contract when they kept charging an expired credit card and I asked Visa how they could do this... I have been requesting cancellation since March of 2023 but no way they are letting out... And now that they have already been sued at least twice and lost I can't see them lasting much longer... I left a review at the BBB requesting my name be added to any class action lawsuit against this business... There are plenty of others filing complaints against them already... Shouldn't be a problem finding numbers the way things look... And this isn't just lack luster customer support... There are enough complaints that should prove they know what they are doing.
