Disappointing Experience with WakaNow: Overpriced and Lengthy Flights
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on WakaNow. I was trying to book a trip from Lagos to Cotonou, which is only about a 3 hour drive from where I am, but the prices were absolutely ridiculous. I mean, we're talking 500,000 Naira for a trip that should be a breeze. Meanwhile, a trip to Kenya only cost me 180,000 Naira. What gives, WakaNow?
And get this - the flight to Cotonou is a whopping 25 hours! Can you believe that? I mean, I paid about 300,000 Naira to get all the way to Canada, and that was a much longer flight. It just doesn't make any sense.
Honestly, I think WakaNow needs to step up their game. Their prices are way too high for what they're offering, and the flights are way too long. I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend 25 hours on a plane just to get to a neighboring country.
All in all, I'd say WakaNow needs to do better. Maybe they should change their motto to "WakaNow and No Waka Again!" because I don't think I'll be using their services anytime soon.
Terrible Experience: Cancelled Ticket Last Minute & No Refund
This company ain't good at all. They cancelled my ticket just 2 hours before my flight was supposed to take off. It was a real mess and my family got stuck. I had to go straight to the airline to get a new ticket. I asked for my money back for the ticket they cancelled, but they haven't replied to my emails or answered my calls. When I finally got through to an agent, they said they would help me, but then they hung up on me. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still fighting to get my refund. It's really bad. I won't ever use them again.
Poor Customer Service Experience with WakaNow's Ticketing Agents
I gotta say, my experience with WakaNow was not the best. Their ticketing agents are just not up to par. I mean, I reached out to them on Telegram and it took a whole 2 hours for someone to respond! And by the time we had gone back and forth with just 3 messages each, a whole 16 hours had passed. Can you believe it? And it's not like I had any better luck on WhatsApp either. Same problem, same slow response time.
I even tried calling a couple of their lines, but no luck. I dialed ***727 and ***705, but no one picked up. It's frustrating, you know? When you're trying to plan a trip and you can't even get ahold of the people who are supposed to help you out.
Honestly, my advice to WakaNow would be to just close up those communication channels if they can't get their act together. Stick with in-person interactions only, because this is just not cutting it.
Wakanow.com Review: Poor Customer Service and Communication Skills
So, I recently used wakanow.com to book a flight, and I gotta say, it was a bit of a hassle. I made a mistake on the name and when I asked them to fix it, they told me I had to cancel the flight and that they would deduct money from my account for their cancellation policy. I didn't want to cancel the flight, I just wanted to fix the name. But they kept telling me to cancel it so they could take my money, even though there were still 10 days left until the flight.
Their agent told me to call the airline to fix the name, but when I did, the airline said only the agent could cancel it. It was like they were playing hot potato with my flight, and I was the one getting burned. It was frustrating to say the least.
But, in the end, I found a link that the airline gave me to fix the name, and I did it myself. It was a relief to finally get it sorted out, but it shouldn't have been that difficult in the first place.
Overall, I would say that wakanow.com needs to work on their customer service and communication skills. It's not cool to make things difficult for your customers, especially when they just want a simple fix. I hope they can improve in the future, because I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.
WakaNow's Lack of Transparency and High Fees for Changes and Refunds Left Me Frustrated and Disappointed
I recently had an experience with WakaNow that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I purchased two return tickets on Qatar Airways from Lagos to Houston at the WakaNow office located in the Genesis Cinemas complex in G.R.A. Port Harcourt, Rivers State. At the time of purchase, no conditions were given, and I paid over 1.1 million naira for the tickets.
Unfortunately, I needed to change the date of my flight, and this is where things started to go wrong. When I contacted Qatar Airways to request the change, they referred me back to WakaNow. However, when I reached out to WakaNow, they demanded almost the cost of the return ticket for one person for a date change. This was surprising to me, as when I checked online directly with Qatar Airways, I did not see any mention of this cost.
To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, WakaNow refused, stating that their tickets are non-refundable. This was frustrating, as there was no prior information provided about this policy before I purchased the tickets.
Overall, my experience with WakaNow was not a positive one. While I appreciate the convenience of being able to purchase tickets in person at their office, the lack of transparency and high fees for changes or refunds left me feeling dissatisfied. I hope that in the future, WakaNow will be more upfront about their policies and fees, so that customers can make informed decisions before making a purchase.
WakaNow's Online Booking System is a Mess - Beware!
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with WakaNow. I was trying to book a flight on their website back on July 23rd, you know, to avoid any last minute stress. But boy, was I in for a ride. I went through the whole process and everything seemed fine, until an error popped up on their site. But get this, they still went ahead and debited my mastercard! Can you believe it?
So, I had to go to the airport in person to sort things out with the flight company I was flying with. And that's when I met one of their staffs at MM2 in Lagos, Nigeria. They told me that their site had been having problems that week and that all bookings made on the website wouldn't go through. And yet, they still debited the cards used. What a mess!
I thought I'd be able to get a refund, but it's now August 29th and I'm still waiting. I've sent them several emails, but nothing seems to be happening. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using their online portal, even if you have to use them. They're just a bunch of unprofessionals.
Warning: Stay Away from Wakanow - They Are Scammers!
I want to warn everyone out there to stay away from Wakanow. They are not trustworthy and they don't keep their promises. I had a terrible experience with them and I have all the evidence to prove it. I think Google should take action against them because they are nothing but criminals.
I purchased a ticket from their app on July 6th, 2022, from Manama Bahrain to Abuja Nigeria. The ticket cost me N253,175. They gave me a connecting flight with Fly Dubai through Twanda. I arrived at the airport four hours before my takeoff time, but when I got there, they told me that my flight had been cancelled. I was devastated and didn't know what to do.
I tried to contact Wakanow through emails and WhatsApp, but they only replied once every six hours. Their response was always the same, "We are sorry for the inconvenience." I explained my situation to them, but they didn't seem to care. My visa had expired, and I lost my house. I had been at the airport for three days, and I was desperate to get home.
They promised to reissue another ticket for me on July 13th, 2022, but as I write this review, I have not received anything from them. I have done everything possible to make them understand my situation, but they don't seem to care. I am still stuck at the airport, and I don't know what to do.
In conclusion, I want to warn everyone out there to stay away from Wakanow. They are not honest, and they don't care about their customers. They are scammers, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I am going through right now.
Wakanow Review: A Real Headache for Flight Bookings
I gotta say, Wakanow ain't my cup of tea. I've used 'em twice now and both times have been a real headache. I'm always flyin' from Abuja to Toronto, and I usually book my flights online through the airline or other travel agencies in Canada. The first time I used Wakanow was for my son's return from Canada, and that went alright, but I reckon that's 'cause there was no rebooking involved.
Last August, I booked a return flight for myself with Air France, and I used the first leg of the ticket without any problems. But then I decided to change my booking for the second leg, which was supposed to be in April. And that's when the trouble started. Wakanow has been tryin' to rebook my flight for months now, but they just can't seem to get it done. My ticket is gonna expire soon, and I'm still stuck in limbo.
I've exchanged over 50 emails with 'em, and they keep promisin' me that they're waitin' for the airline to respond. But I ain't buyin' it. The flight I'm tryin' to book is a popular one, and I'm startin' to think that Wakanow just ain't cut out for this business. Or maybe they're just a bunch of scammers, who knows?
Either way, I'm warnin' all you travelers out there to steer clear of Wakanow. My ticket had an option for a date change with an extra fee, so there's really no excuse for this mess. Don't make the same mistake I did.
WakaNow Review: Unreliable Service, Rude Staff, and Hidden Fees
My pal made a booking on WakaNow and it was confirmed. WakaNow sent him a list of banks he could pay and he made payment to one of the banks. That was around 9pm. Till the following day they didn't send him his ticket and he called their customer care line. The agent told him they sent him his ticket (meanwhile he earlier did a booking which the ticket was sent in the morning). My friend told them they sent the ticket he booked and paid for in the morning but the other one was done in the evening. WakaNow claimed no. After back and forth, WakaNow agreed they saw the booking but didn't see the payment. Until after the 3rd day, my friend had to send his bank statement and all payment proofs. WakaNow still insisted he hadn't paid until the 4th day my friend went to their office. WakaNow then agreed that he had paid and they had received payment. But his ticket had been canceled and he had to add extra money for a new rate. The staff were so rude and were talking anyhow to my friend. He had to add extra money and the date of traveling changed. WakaNow has thieves among their staff and when you lodge complaints, they talk rude to you. You make payments, they deny they have seen the payment until you lose the booking and need to add extra pay. I advise anyone not to trust their service. If you must patronize them, better go to their office face to face. It's then they will take you seriously.
WakaNow Review: A Nightmare Experience with a Scam Company
I gotta say, my experience with WakaNow was a complete disaster. I booked a round trip to South Africa with these guys, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare from start to finish. The agent who handled my booking was a complete idiot, and I'm pretty sure the whole company is a scam.
I specifically told them when I wanted to return, but they changed the date to something completely different. When I complained to customer service, they were completely unwilling to help me. I had to pay an extra 200k just to change the date back to what I originally asked for. And then, two days before my return flight, I found out they had changed my return location from Abuja to Lagos. I mean, what the hell? I had to pay another 300k just to change the location back to what I wanted. It's ridiculous.
And to top it all off, when I got to the airport, my flight wasn't even booked! I had to spend two extra days in a country where I had already exhausted my visa stays. It was a complete nightmare.
Honestly, I think WakaNow just wants to squeeze as much money out of you as possible by putting you in uncomfortable situations with your trips. It's not worth the stress or the money. Trust me, if you use WakaNow, you will regret it. You'll end up spending way more than you budgeted for, and you might even get to the airport and realize your flight wasn't even booked. It's a total scam.
So if you value your peace of mind and your hard-earned money, do yourself a favor and avoid WakaNow at all costs.

Airline ticket not booked with airline after full payment made 4 months ago
We booked airline ticket to Dallas via Rwanda air over four months ago with Wakanow. Arrived at the airport today to find out airline does not fly on Mondays. Wakanow sent us 24hrs reminder knowing fully well the flight was none existent. We were then told that our flight has been moved to the next day but the airline has no record of any such booking. We will definitely be seeking legal action. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
Desired outcome: An airline confirmed flight booking for the entire family as previously paid for. Compensation to cover hotel accommodation for stay while awaiting new tickets
WakaNow Review: Shady AF Touts Who Don't Care About Your Trip or Money
Yo, so I gotta say, my experience with WakaNow was straight up whack. Like, I read all these reviews and they all said the same thing - this company is shady AF. And let me tell you, they ain't wrong. I mean, how can a business like this even exist in a legit country? Only in Nigeria, man.
These guys are straight up touts. They don't care about you or your trip, they just want your money. And once they got it, they don't give a damn about anything else. I had so many issues with my booking and they were no help at all. It's like they just wanted me to go away and stop bothering them.
Honestly, if I was in a sane country, I would have sued these guys to Armageddon. But I guess that's just how things roll in Nigeria. It's a lawless land where anything goes. And WakaNow is just another example of that.
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Unless you like getting ripped off and treated like garbage. In that case, go ahead and book with WakaNow. But if you value your time and money, stay far away from these touts.
WakaNow Review: Fraudulent Activity and Poor Customer Service
Yo, so I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with WakaNow. I booked a flight through their website and they took my money, but then they didn't credit the airline. Like, what the heck, man? That's straight up thievery. It's like they're running some kind of 419 scam or something.
Anyway, I tried calling them about it, but nobody picked up. And when I finally did get through, they told me it would take 15 working days to sort it out. Like, what kind of customer service is that? They knew my number, so they could have at least given me a heads up or something.
Honestly, I feel like this is some fraudulent activity going on. They took my money and didn't deliver on their end of the bargain. It's not cool, man. I wouldn't recommend using WakaNow if you want to avoid this kind of hassle.

WakaNow Review: Unreliable and Frustrating Travel Booking Experience
I made with WakaNow. It's really frustrating and disappointing. I don't know how they can be so careless with people's travel plans. It's not like traveling is cheap, and to have to deal with this kind of stress and inconvenience is just not acceptable.
The first time it happened, I was traveling to Lagos for a business meeting. I had booked my flight and hotel through WakaNow, and I thought everything was set. But when I got to the airport, I was told that there was no booking under my name. I was shocked and confused. I had paid for everything, and I had the confirmation email from WakaNow. But it didn't matter. I had to buy a new ticket from the counter, and it cost me a lot more than what I had paid through WakaNow.
I contacted their customer service, and they apologized and promised to refund me the money. But it took them weeks to do it, and I had to keep calling and emailing them to get any response. It was a really frustrating experience.
The second time it happened was even worse. I had booked a flight and hotel for a family vacation to Dubai. We were all excited and looking forward to the trip. But when we got to the airport, we were told that our booking had been canceled. We couldn't believe it. We had paid for everything, and we had the confirmation email from WakaNow. But again, it didn't matter. We had to buy new tickets and find a new hotel, and it cost us a lot more than what we had paid through WakaNow.
I don't know what to do now. I have another booking with WakaNow for a trip to London next month, but I don't know if I can trust them anymore. I don't want to go through this kind of stress and inconvenience again. I hope they can improve their services and be more reliable in the future.
Wakanow.com Review: Poor Customer Service and Booking Mishap
star for wakanow.com. They messed up my flight booking and left it open without telling me. I was supposed to check in the night before my flight, but the booking wasn't pulling through. It was a total nightmare dealing with their customer service. They were unhelpful and rude. I wouldn't recommend using this website for booking flights.
Unprofessional Behavior at WakaNow Abuja Office: A Disappointing Experience
Yo, I gotta say, my experience with WakaNow was not the best. I went to their office in Abuja and had to deal with the most unfriendly ticketing agent ever. This dude had me waiting for over an hour, talking about how he needed to confirm stuff with Lagos. But then he straight up told me that the guy in Lagos was resting and couldn't be bothered. Like, what kind of professionalism is that?
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing. I mean, I know things can get busy and all, but there's no excuse for treating customers like that. It's not like I was asking for anything unreasonable - just a simple ticket. But this guy acted like it was the biggest inconvenience in the world.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend WakaNow based on my experience. Maybe they're better in other locations, but if you're in Abuja, be prepared for some seriously unprofessional behavior.
Warning: Double Check Flight Details Before Booking with WakaNow
Yo, listen up! If you're thinking about booking with WakaNow, lemme give you some advice. Make sure you double check your flight details, cuz if you end up with a low cost airline, you might have to shell out more cash for another ticket. And let me tell you, these guys are pretty incompetent. I tried emailing them and they straight up ignored me. Not cool, man. I'm definitely gonna file a report when I get back.
Unprofessional and Unapologetic: My Experience with WakaNow Travel Agency
WakaNow is not the best travel agency out there. They are not professional at all and they don't apologize when they mess up. I had an issue with my booking and no one ever said sorry. It's like they don't care about their customers. And once they have your phone number, they don't answer your calls anymore. It's really frustrating.
Another thing that bothers me is that they are not very detailed. They don't give you all the information you need and it's hard to get a clear answer from them. And when it comes to refunds, there's no certain percentage that they will give you back. It's really unclear and it takes forever to get your money back. I had to wait 8-10 weeks for my refund to come through.
The worst part of dealing with WakaNow is their customer service on WhatsApp. It's terrible. I thought I was talking to a robot because the responses were so robotic and unhelpful. But when I asked, they told me it was a human being. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.
Overall, I would not recommend WakaNow to anyone. They are unprofessional, unapologetic, and their customer service is terrible. Save yourself the hassle and go with a different travel agency.
WakaNow Review: Unreliable Service and Wasted Time
Yo, I gotta tell you about my experience with WakaNow. So, I was tryna change my ticket dates with aAirpeace and I hit up WakaNow for help. But let me tell you, it took them more than 13 hours and they still couldn't get it done. Like, what kinda service is that? I was getting hella stressed out because my flight was in 10 minutes and I didn't wanna get charged for missing it. So, I called up aAirpeace myself and they changed my ticket in just 2 minutes, no charge or nothing.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using WakaNow if you wanna keep your sanity. They're just a waste of time and money. If you wanna avoid early death, just go straight to the airline yourself. Don't bother with these guys.
WakaNow Review: Prepaid Flight Cancelled 4 Times, Still No Refund After 4 Months
I tried to book a flight with WakaNow in June and it was prepaid. But, unfortunately, it got cancelled four times. So, I requested a refund. But, it's been a long time since then, from July to October, and I still haven't received my refund. I called them and wrote to them several times, but they kept promising that it would take only three weeks. However, I waited for another three weeks and still no refund. I called them again and they promised me again that it would take only three weeks. But, I didn't receive any refund and they didn't even reply to my mails. I called them again in October, but still no refund. They are not straightforward at all. So, I suggest you run away when you see WakaNow.
Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with WakaNow
I gotta say, my experience with WakaNow was not the best. I mean, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The folks working there seem to lack the basic skills needed to be friendly to customers. Whenever I needed help, they were of no use. They even hung up on me during a call! Can you believe that? It's been a real headache dealing with WakaNow. I suggest you steer clear of them. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.
I paid 62 thousand naira to book a flight from Lagos to Abuja today Tuesday 11:14pm. I’m yet to get a confirmation on my booking. My full name is Amaka Nzebude. I sent through the Gtb account of Wakanow
