Trash not picked up
I was told by customer service that my bulk item can be a bag. Today, September 10, 2022,was our bulk pickup week and they left my bulk item. This is not the first time they have done this. Our trash collectors only take what they deem acceptable. Sometimes leaving trash for several weeks. This is not the first time they have left my bulk item and I find this highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I feel if I am paying for trash collection that my trash should be collected. I was also told by customer service that I was permitted one bulk item per week. Now I am told that it is only the first full week of the month. If I am only to have one bulk item per month then why is it that the truck drivers decide which items they will take and which they won't. I have tried to call customer service to speak with a manager, however no one ever returned my calls.
Desired outcome: I want the trash collection folks to start doing their job.

Waste Management Service Tuolumne County in its entirety
I have lived at this service address for a little over a year and have had nothing but complaints and problems with the trash pickup. Our friend that is renting the home to use lived there for 10 years and never had a problem with placement prior to this, so we moved the cans as suggested, then it was stated placement was wrong again so we moved them back, then again, on, and on. At times the trash is never picked up at all. This week I was explained that the extra bags would be picked up due to our cans being taken because I forgot to pay my bill, which is understandable, although "Judy" stated "I will tell them to pick up all the extra bags, so be sure to set them where the cans will be dropped off." Well now I have multiple bags of trash everywhere due to the dogs in the area because they did not pick up the bags as stated they would, and they will not come back for an extra pick up until next week! This is ongoing monthly at times weekly! I am so over this already, it is ridiculous, and I hate to say it but we are the only HISPANIC family in the area now or EVER! and the owners themselves report they never had this problem prior to us moving in when they lived there!
Desired outcome: Pick up my dang trash when you say you will, and follow through with your job as you should since you get paid for it anyways!

Im trying to retrieve my clothes from landfill.
To whom may concern is there own of Brimfield Landfield can talk to since landfield number 2 suppose to be shutdown in next year because getting to overfill with things. Trash removal
After receiving my last bill for trash removal from Waste Management, I could no longer afford to use them for my trash and recycle removal. On July 18, 2022, I called to cancel my service and was told that since I was in the middle of my contract term I was not eligible for a credit. I was also told that I would be charged a $75.00 removal fee. The containers were supposed to be removed on July 21, 2022. They were not removed until August 20, 2022 after many phone calls on my part. I received a bill for $127.73 which included the removal fee as well as other fees. I do not feel that I should be charged these fees as I have no contract indicating that I would be charged anything for canceling with them.
Desired outcome: I would like the removal of the removal fees of $127.73.
I am filing a Complaint. I have been a customer of Waste Management since 1994. This year the price was raised so high I can no longer afford to use Waste Management for my trash removal services. On July 18, 2022, I called to cancel my service contract and was told that because I was in the middle of the contract period I would not be receiving any credit. I can find no written contract that says there are time limits. I was also told that there would be a $75 removal fee for taking away the containers. Ridiculous fake cancelation fees.
We had this business trash and recycling service for 20 years. Tried to cancel today because rates tripled and they want a $2000 cancelation fee! They're saying we have a contract and are breaking it. What contract lasts more than 20 years? Extortion at it's finest. What the heck. We are a non profit and can't afford these fees. What help is there for this situation? Do we file a BBB dispute? Small claims court? What exactly?
Desired outcome: Remove their containers at no cost as it should be after 20 years.
Irresponsible bulk pick
I made a Bulk Pickup request on 8/29/2022 and was confirmed that pickup would be on 8/31 with Order# 258568. The driver did not come. I called Waste Management Company on 9/1. I was told that the driver reported that my residence road was blocked. Obviously he looked the road sign that states the crosseing road is blocked that is actually way above my residence. As a matter of fact, all regular pickup services on the same day were completed without any issue. The bulk pickup driver was very incompetent and could not read the road sign correctly. The rep from WM agreed to arrange a bulk pickup on that day (9/1). To my disappointment, it was not done. I had to call agin on 9/2 and the rep confirmed that these three items would definitely be picked up on that day.
They did not pick them up on 9/2, 9/3 and these three bulky items have been on the curbside for a week. I still don't know when will they be able to exercise ther responsibility. Unfortunately, except a customer servcie phone number that could only be answered by person within limited hours during working days, there no other ways to contact WM. I hope this message might reach them?

Garage pickup
Sept.4 2022, trash scheduled for pick up 2 Sept 2022, then phone message says "to be completed Sept 3 2022, then No pickup that Saturday or Sunday and Monday is Labor day. Neighbors have already switched services and trash always picked up!
On numerous occasions trash not picked up on scheduled day or following day. Twice not picked up at all! Company raises fees and decreases services. Trash is placed as instructed on curb, and sits, no reimbursement just stinking trash! Do not if under new management, been with company 30yrs! As senior citizen, disabled veteran feel like hostage!

I am filing a complaint due to price hikingand trying to cancel services, I have had garbage services since 2009 with Veola and paid 43/a month Veola sold out to waste Management and my garbage bill is up to 187.50 a month, they empty 2 times a month. I tried to cancel services and they said I had a contract with Veola which when they bought the company they also bought the contracts, they told me the contract automatically renewed every 3 years and mine renewed in 2021 unknown to me, they said I can't break contract or I would still have to pay them the 187.50 for the next 2 years until my contract ends in July 2024. So I am paying 187.50 a month for 2 garbage pick ups, next month it will probably be over 200.00 as the prices keep going up with each billing cycle with no notifications that there is a price increase, Oh and it took them from July 5th 2022 until September 3rd to find my supposed contract, this is crazy I can't afford to pay this every month for garbage

Garbage collection
Waste Management failed to pick up my garbage. I contacted the company and was give a new pickup date. They failed to pickup up the trash on the new date. I called the company that day and was told they would pick up by 6 pm. The did not pick up the trash. I called again the next day and was told that they were again on the way. Approximately 1 hour later I was informed they could not pick up my trash.
Customer service mis lead me and they miss and entire week of service. I asked for a credit on my bill for the failed service and was again misinformed. After a three follow up calls I finally was able to reach a supervisor and file a complaint.

Waste management charging for next quarter service even though I’m cancelled and they already picked up the bin.
A couple of months ago, I talked to waste management about prices going up every billing cycle. They offered to price match to one company except that I found a cheaper company. I canceled service. I was paid up till the end of August 31. The final week of August, they marked me as canceled service and I confirmed this over the phone, and they sent someone out to pick up the trash bin. The person I spoke to on the phone told me that ordinarily there was a $75 plus fee to pick up the trash bin but that she was going to waive that on my account and she confirmed this three separate times. I said, “then why is there a balance due for $43 by mid September on my account that says if I don’t pay it on a certain date I owe 312.“ She said she didn’t know. She said she confirmed that I was paid up until 8/31/22 and that they were going to pick up this trash bin from me a few days before so I should not owe any money. I noted that it said if I didn’t pay the 43 by a certain date in September I was going to get bill 312 and she said, “don’t pay the 43 because you don’t know it. If you pay it, you won’t get it back.” I said then how do I get rid of it and she said, “it should just go to zero once your trashcan comes back to us.” It has been a week since they picked up my trashcan and I was here when the guy picked it up and spoke to him. That $43 is still listed as due. Now this makes no sense because I paid up until the end of August 31 and service was cancelled a few days prior. I know that they usually charge $75 to “remove the trash bin” but the woman on the phone specifically said to me that she was “waiving that $75 fee”. She confirmed this three separate times on that conversation. She said, “you are paid up to the point of cancellation, you will owe no money.“ I have checked my online account every single day since then and nothing has changed. Other than that now there is another charge for 80 some dollars that is listed as pending. I have no idea what these charges are for, the 43 and the 80 some dollars. I am paid up to and including the last time they came to pick up my trash the very last week of the last billing cycle. The trash does not stop here anymore and there is no bin owned by waste management. I have spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone just getting this account canceled. I am at my wits end. I just want to be free of this company.
Desired outcome: I want the account marked as canceled online so that I have written proof of it and I want the bill due to read 0.00 because that is what is accurate.

Trash removal
For the past 3 months my trash has not been getting picked up on a regular basis. I am the only WM customer on the small street and the new route drivers are lazy and don't want to come down the street. They blame it on a "low wire" which has been there for the entire 7 years o have had service and its never been a problem until a few months ago when a new crew was assigned to the rough. The wire is also not a problem for another trash company which comes faithfully each week for many of my neighbors. That is why I canceled WM changed companies. I tried to have a manager resolve it many times but no one cares from WM about their customers. Now they won't come pick up their cans which they had me put out for them ad its been 3 weeks and when I call to see when they are coming, they said that it's marked as retrieved. ...so the drivers and managers keep lying because they are still at the end of my driveway...

Landfill throwing stuff into ground not paying attention what in garbage bags
I would like make complaint against landfill thrown things until ground not paying attention whats in the garbage bags. Also was told by front desk landfill springfill thrown away dirty syrings and other things with burying under dirty. I believe there should dig up all dirt and do thorough search dig up things dont suppose to be bury into the dirt.
Desired outcome: I would like dig up things don't belong in the landfill.

I was wondering does anyone know about the waste management now check the garbage there burying underneath the dirt. I was told by worker that bury dirty syringe needles under soil and they pay attention where bury into the soil. I think their thorough search where everything dug to see what's being bury into the dirt because no one wants to get sick from something shouldn't be there in the soil like dirty syringe.
Waste Management Truck and Truck Driver
I was driving on Interstate I-24 headed to Nashville when a wooden pallette flew off the top of the waste management truck directly at my car, the Truck Driver had debris/trash overflowing from the top of the truck and it wasn't secure, the wooden pallette flew off the top of the truck at my car, it was like a scene out of a movie and very horrifying, I swerved the car but still hit the pallette, i tried to honk the truck driver down but he kept driving. The truck was overflowing with trash, wood, wooden debris from a construction site, it was several other small pieces of wood that flew off the truck but the huge wooden pallette was what hit my car
Desired outcome: Waste Management needs to fix the damage to my car, there's pieces of my car that are hanging from the undercarriage because of the impact with the wooden pallette

Missed pick up 4 yard dumpster service
We are so frustrated about the missed pick up without notice in advance or even without notice and the price keep going up from $2XX to $4xx with contract, the service dropped dramatically. It has been happened 2 months. WM always missed the pick ups. My schedule is fixed for Tue and Fri every week and usually in early morning . However, WM always missed it and notice me after a day or the same day evening , which is not noticed you in advance. I called them and ask WM Manager call me back. But no one call me back about this at all and I have to call back again, but there is no manager at all or even the employee to apology about this. They just said because the shortage of driver. so it is my fault? I paid for a service, but I have to deserve like this? WM is a big company. how could this happened again and again? WM just send me a new contract by email with less explanations and wanna try to ask for more yrs service. this is what the solution they has. bad service and ask for more business. In addiction, I always found that the bill is keep going up every month. I had signed 3 yrs contract before. Their reply is like, cuz there is no fixed rate. Then I was like what is the contract for? the missed pick up really buzzing me. Cuz we are a countertop company, we always has to remove customer old countertop everyday. If WM always missed my pick up. I have no space to put my garbage. I have to put the rest in my working area and wait for the next pick up. HOWEVER, THEY KEEP MISSED THE PICK UPs. IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
Right now, It becomes more and more serious. For example, WM originally should come this Fri Aug. 26th, 2022 morning. However, they missed it and never noticed me in advance. And I got the email they moved to sat Aug 27, 2022. And I found that an update email by Fri 5:15pm it said Your waste service for Saturday, August 27, 2022 is now scheduled to be completed Monday, August 29, 2022. This is the problem. I never received an email said Missed Fri pick up and will pick up on sat and now they will move to Monday. And I want to report the missed pick up. there is no way on the website can report it. I don't know why the button is missing too. and I found my WM account is shown the next pick up on Tue which is Aug 30th is my regular schedule date. So is WM gonna charge me 2 times pick up per week to do 1 time pick up? If they delayed the pick up on Monday. But my regular is on Tue. there is no much things for them to pick up on Tue. it kind of waste due to their delay. I hope you guys can help me to fix this problem. thanks a lot

No service
I called for a claw pick up for yard waste on Tuesday August 23rd they said the truck would be at my house 830 West Virginia St Cocoa Fl on Thursday to no avail so I called and said they missed the scheduled date they said they were sorry they were running behind in Brevard County but would reschedule. My yard waste is still in my yard . Today is Saturday the August 27th and it is killing my grass. This is not the first time I have filed a complaint. As a 26 year employee,you market, district, company,managers all you are concerned about is your end of year bonus. Screw everyone of you. Residential garbage pick-up
Today on 8/25/2022 at 6215 Streamwood Lane, Matteson, IL 60443, I set garbage bags outside on the curb to be picked up today. I had 15 bags in addition to the 96-gallon container. The associate who picked up the garbage refused to take all 15 bags and stated he could only take 2 yards. He left 5 bags on the curb. I called Waste Management and was told the limit is up to 3 yards, which is approximately 15 bags. I've been living here for over 35 years and never an experienced like this. This is the second time I have had to complain about the same associate who comes to pick up garbage. He told me I needed to get another truck to come out for a charge or hold on to the bags and set them out for next week pick up. I guess he makes his own rules of what he can do and cannot do. I really wish he would never come on my route to pick up my garbage again.

8/24/22 I called today to cancel my trash service. I was on hold for 2 hours. Nobody answered my call. While I was on hold I went to the waste management website. I saw the support at the top of the page so I clicked on it. I saw cancel service so I clicked on that. I saw live chat and then some phone number. Well I was already on hold for over an hour so I chose live chat. I told them I waned to cancel my service and that I was on the phone on hold. That person lets me know they can't cancel service over the live chat and that I needed to just stay on hold. I was on hold for 2 hours nobody ever answered. I tried to call back and found out they close at 4:50pm so I was on hold for 40 minutes for no reason. The reason I'm canceling my service is because you charge way too much. I am a single person living by myself and I have one trashcan my bill if I chose to stay with you is $187.60 for 3 months. Now this price goes up every time I have a payment. I know someone who has a family and they have 2 trashcans and they pay $130 every 3 months. Something doesn't seem right. I have complained about this before and my bill was reduced for a few payments but it started going up again. I don't want to hear about fuel prices causing it to go up because fuel prices have dropped but my bill goes up. I want my service canceled immediately. Tomorrow 8/25/22 is trash pick up day and that will be the last pick up.
You need to change your cancel service button on your website and take the live chat off being you can't cancel your service through the chat. I am copying this for documentation.

Broken 96 gal trash can with broken (now completely removed) lid.
I have filed multiple requests for repair of trash can / lid, it has now been 5 months and still no resolution. Both can and lid were damaged when I moved into the residence. I was given commitment dates through website which are never met. Called and discussed issue with live person, told it could be up to 12 weeks... Now coming on 20 weeks... For a lid... Crazy. I have been trying to get this issue resolved is april 2022.
