Recycling
My recycling has not been picked up for 3 weeks now with zero communication. I have attempted to reach out and just get put on hold until the line goes dead. I have also not received any type of refund to my account. WM is basically robbing me on a weekly bases by charging me for services they are not providing and their customer service is appalling,
Desired outcome: Cancelation and a refund for weeks not picked up and the remainder of my contract so I can move to a company that actually does what I pay for.

Poor customer service
If I could give them a zero I would! Besides their ever-increasing prices, their customer service does not answer the phone, I have been on hold with them for over 40 minutes, and counting! Trying to use the customer service chat is no better! I come home to partial trash being removed and a broken trash can. the wheels are broken off and are in pieces. And this is not the first time only part of my trash has been removed. Once I finally did get someone on the chat, Jennifer was rude as H3LL and disconnected the chat when I asked to speak with a supervisor. Silly me, expecting people to actually do the jobs they are paid to do! For the money we pay I would expect much better service! Avoid at all cost if possible!
Desired outcome: Trash cans replaced ASAP not the next 1-10 days
Parking lot damaged
I am next door to your customer at 2702 National Drive, garland, Texas, 75041.
You have located a 4 cy dumpster on his property that can only be dumped or accessed from my property. the trucks enter my property from National Place, drive across my lot to access and dump the container, then drive the remaining distance to leave my property. Your trucks have damaged my new asphalt parking lot.
Please relocate this container so it can be accessed without crossing my property.
Also, please have my asphalt repaired immediately.

Waste Management local facitlty near Dutton VA. Bulk dumpsters and furniture refused were full.
6/18/21 circa 11:45 AM, i went to the local convience dump, located near Dutton VA. Most of my trash was old table and boards, old throw rugs.
I was able to dump 3 metal mop handles, and a bag of household waste. I was sent home with the remainder. Remedies suggested were:
1 - to try another convience dump 20 minutes away. Note that no status of their bins was known, so it might be drive 20 minutes to be turned away again.
2 - to drive about as far to the "landfill". Note that the land is filled with nails and other pointy stuff designed to puncture your tires so you never return.
3 - drive back to dump after closing and dump on front gate.
Note 4 - have Waste Management fix their problems was NOT offered as a solution, but would have resulted in nearly as much satisfaction as #3.
Desired outcome: Providing Gloucester Residents with services.

Trash Pickup
I was receiving materials at my house at 503 Barbara Circle, Fairless Hills, PA 19030. WasteManagement @ 2:41 pm removed a package from my sidewalk obscured by cars that I was removing tempered sheet glass from the package for a shower installation. I had to remove one at a time since they were bulky and heavy to store in my house. The men that removed it stated to Bristol township that it was on the curb. I have indisputable proof thru security footage and photos. I also have witnesses stating that the workers were misstating the facts. The glass was fully exposed for the workers to see. I consider this as destruction of property. This is delaying my project.

Desired outcome: Replace all parts that were taken. Total value of the shower order $988.45

Residential trash pickup
address:
119 Orchard Park Drive
Byron, Ga. 31008
I have not had my trash picked up two weeks in a row now, I only have one trash can, more than sufficient for my use, it is now overflowing and I am forced to put trash beside the can. Drivers here will not get out of there trucks to pick up trash beside the can. I will be expecting a full refund of payment for the month of June for me to dispose of my own trash. Your company Sucks when it comes to customers,
Desired outcome: full repayment for June charges

Garbage Pickup
I had a missed pickup on mon. I called waste management for a pickup on tues. They assured me all week that someone would be here to pick it up. I called everyday and spoke with 7 to 8 people a day assuring me that my garbage would be collected. I even spoke to a supervisor who lied to me as well. Now this is friday, and I have a week worth of garbage sitting with no room for any other garbage. This is totally unacceptable and ridiculous! Please provide me with the service that I pay for. This company has some serious issues that need to be addressed!
Desired outcome: I want my garbage picked up

Fees charged for cancelling service
I had trash pickup service with Advance Disposal in Forsyth County Georgia, and their routes were purchased by Waste Management in the spring of 2021.
I had paid in advance for service with Advance Disposal through June 30. The trash was not picked up during the transition process, and I hired a new company to get our trash.
I cancelled service with Waste Management on May 26, 2021, and received a bill for $75 for "cart pickup". I was credited for 5 weeks of prepaid service, but charged taxes, fuel surcharge, for a total due of $67.19. I would like this charge deleted.
Desired outcome: Deletion of cart pickup charge

PropaneTank Rental
After numerous propane delivery and service issues, I cancelled propane service with Waste Management on July 27, 2020 and was advised that the rented propane tank would be picked up within one week. Needless to say, the tank was not picked up. I have repeatedly called the local branch and either 1) received no answer, 2) my call would go to voice mail or 3) I would actually speak with someone who would then indicate the tank would be picked up within two business days, Calls to the local branch have been conducted on a regular basis for ELEVEN MONTHS and the propane tank still remains in my front yard. On April 14, 2021, I called the corporate office, explained the situation and was advised to call the local branch - the cycle continues!
Desired outcome: Pickup the propane tank!

Poor start up with collection of trash.
I signed up for their services on April 9, and received no pick up for 3 weeks and had to set out my trash in my old cans I already had during this period. As of today, 06/02/21, I still have no trash bin from Wast Pro, after a number of attempts I still have no bin and was told the they have run out of them. It seams very unfair to enter into a contract with me under these circumstances, without telling me about the problem, after I have paid the first 3 months for their services, in advance.
I am trying every way possible to deal with this and it upsets me greatly.
Thank you,
James K Smith, Hemby Bridge, Union County, N.C.

Trash dumpster - used to capacity and not "overflowing"
We continue to get charged for an "over flowing" dumpster that is NOT over flowing, but simply used to its capacity. The Dumpster area is left clean, there is no debris or trash on the ground and the driver always has access to the service it daily. The first few times we were charged I contested the charges but then I went ahead and increased the service days to avoid any mess. I am now being told to increase more than 5 days' a week (NO!). Our building is only open 5 days a week, why would I have it serviced more than that?
Look at the picture I am providing, the trash is simply to the wall, not pouring over it or falling all over the ground. I feel it is a scam to get your clients to pay extra for a dumpster we already pay to use! We pay to use 100% of the dumpster, not a portion of it.
Desired outcome: remove ALL of the charges for over flowing dumpster that we pay for and stop hounding me to add more service days

Recyclables not being picked up on pick up date

I am having a problem getting the drivers picking up my recyclables. There were no unauthorized waste in the bin. I have had this happen a few times already within this year. I have reached out to the local department and expressed my grievances. I am going to the next echelon in hopes that this issue be addressed with the unprofessionalism
Desired outcome: reprimand the drivers of this route and have the recyclables picked up
$99.50 Container pick up charge
We cancelled our service with Waste Management on 05/26/21 due to missed pick ups (which we are never credited for) and continual price increases. We were told we would be charged $99.50 for the cart pick up. We asked if we could drop off our cart and are being told we are not allowed to. This charge is totally unreasonable and customers should be provided an alternative. Perhaps we need to start attending some city council meetings and push for city provided waste disposal like some of our other neighboring cities (Twinsburg and Cuyahoga Falls). Without resolution, we will take this up with the BBB, our local representatives, and take this to social media. WM should be ashamed of themselves.
Desired outcome: Waive the cart pick up charge or allow us to drop it off.
Just received another bill from WM today. This is still unresolved. The courtesy of a reply would be appreciated.
This complaint has NOT been resolved. I sent the email as advised and am still receiving calls and emails from Waste Management stating we owe them $99.50 for the container pick up fee.

The same thing happened to me. Did this ever get resolved. I think this is ripe for a class action lawsuit. It is very sleazy. I don't know if it is illegal, but it should be if not.
Waste management
Hi my name is peggy annette of Croydon i wasn't looking for any trouble whosoever i didn't want the township getting angry with us about the over flowing of trash thats why i messaged the compnay about it they sent me a serious manner paper in the mail i apologize if ive done any wrong i just wanna figure everything out as a grown adult
Desired outcome: Working on this issue not being ignorant
Cart removal fee
Service rep pushed the cart removal fee. I argued that I'm not cancelling service, therefore should not incur the fee.
He eventually hung up on me for arguing with him.
I plan to press the issue.
Consider the language on the invoice they send out:
"This invoice constitutes an offer by WM to provide service to you for a specified period. By paying this,
you agree to continue service during the specified service period and to the terms of service at
www.wm.com/OMR, with no refund (whole or partial) for early cancellation, unless such refund is required
by law, regulation or contract. If you cancel services, you will be assessed a Cart Removal charge of up to
$75 plus applicable taxes and charges including fuel surcharge, environmental charge and regulatory cost
recovery charge."
It is an offer for service. The customer is under contract for an individual service period. If at the end of a service period the customer chooses not to renew for another service period, said customer is NOT CANCELLING service. Not renewing is different from cancelling. It's word play, but an important differentiator. Their claim is they are charging the fee due to cancellation. Since their assertion is wrong, the fee should not be charged.
Any lawyers out there that can slice and dice their word jumble and show that charging the fee is a deceptive practice designed simply to bilk departing customers out of a $75?
Desired outcome: Pick up containers after 5/31, no cancellation fee

Waste management truck driver - broken windshield
On Wednesday, May 12th @ ~10:37am, a rock from a Waste Management truck hit my windshield, causing it to immediately crack and spread across. I have attached pictures of the truck, which also has the truck number associated. This incident occurred on the highway in Duncanville, TX. You will see on one of the pictures how far of a distance I was behind the truck; however I could not avoid the rock damaging my windshield. Today (Thursday, May 13th), I dropped my vehicle off at Park Place Mercedes in Arlington, TX for them to provide me with an estimate of how much it will be to complete the windshield repair. My vehicle is currently in their possession and they will be sending me the estimate tomorrow (Friday, May 14th). I can email it to whomever is assigned to supporting me with this complaint once they reach out.
I look forward to hearing from you. My contact information is below.
Thanks,

Residential pickup service
I ordered and paid for residential pick up service at zip code 29047. Almost a month ago. They have not done anything (no container much less pick up) but baffling excuses many of which were just outright lies tooted in false promises. I have been in food beverage and dealt with various companies for nearly 40 years. This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with in my life. I am well known and respected not that that should make a difference. Would love to leave a customer number but last two (of many tries talking to them) they claimed they were not valid (while I was staring the number down). This has caused incredible circumstances and anguish.
Desired outcome: Service IMMEDIATELY and compensation for their not providing ANY service that they have been paid for.

Recycling container fee for unacceptable material in recycling container
ID # [protected] Incident #[protected]
I am John Enns 2968 Bancroft Drive Chico CA
Anybody walking by can throw something in recycling container it is out on the street from Thursday afternoon to Friday when you pick it up.
Even if you take a picture of recycling container with recycling in it I can not be responsible for what is in it for reasons stated above.
You are being unreasonable.
You can put a lock on container that only unlocks when your truck picks up recycling and I would have one so I can put recycling in it and lock has to only work on my container
Then you can send me this notification letter about wrong stuff in it.
Otherwise don't send me any more of those notices!
Thank you
John Enns
Desired outcome: Put lock on recycling container that only work on each persons recycling container
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I so agree with John. How can you charge for unwanted items in the cans when all over our city there are those that "peddle" into our neighborhoods to go into our cans, "like they have a right to "? and tear and or move items "out of their way" to get what they are after ! I have neighbors, who like myself, take pride of our homes by doing what the Waste Management Co. is asking us to comply with, only to receive a picture of someone else's garbage in their "WM truck", along with a bill for "mixing of the contents"! This is not the way to go about having your costumers abide by your "new enforcement policy". Of which you the WM company are guilty of letting it get out of control ! I have a neighbor that for years has been let to get away with mixing all of his cans with there defiant way of disregarding anything that resembles guidelines and able to place their cans over the space of three front sidewalk areas because there is no room in front of there own "rented government assisted house "because of all of the vehicles, six total with only "one" driver in the household that are parked in front of his residence. I thought the cans that were to be picked up were supposed to be in front of the "billing residence" ? You should go back and think of a better way to control the collection of the "Waste Management Policies"!
Unethical Business Practices
Our association has been trying to get rid of our service with WM for 2 years. We were finally able to discontinue the agreement and they are now trying to charge us $266 to pick up their container off of our property. The container is their property, not ours. They are responsible for removing it. Second, they left it sitting there for one week past the agreed pick up date. The new service had to move their container out of the way in order to place theirs and we were charged $30.
It is difficult to find a customer email address. It is not readily available. The website and virtual assistance leads customers in circles. I believe their reason for this is to avoid written conversations. Once you call, you can never get the same person, and of course, they have no record of your previous call.
When we finally got an email, the response was a cancellation notice - even though our service ended last March.
Last, the initial reason we kept trying to cancel our service was the automated increases each year. We were up to paying twice the initial amount. Granted, one needs to read the small print of the contracts, but for a layman, it is not only very small, it is lengthy legalese, which many folks have a hard time with.
They have a history of shady business practices, evidenced by the numerous complaints.
Desired outcome: Cancellation of the pick up delivery fee. A check for the $30 bill for moving their container out of the way.

Recycling bin hasnt been emptied in three weeks
I have contacted the waste management office on three separate occasions about service at my home. I have had a full recycling bin for three weeks straight. I made a complaint over the phone on two separate occasions. I was assured that my recycle would be taken on 4/26/21 and if I had any additional recycle to place it on the side of the garbage. It has not been taken away! I am afraid that if this continues I will have to cancel services. I would like a refund for the missed pick ups or credit applied to my account! I pay on time for timely service and expect the same in return.

Desired outcome: I would like for my recycle bin to be emptied. I would also like credit applied to my account for missed service dates.
