dumpster delivery/poor customer service
We scheduled a dumpster to be delivered on 9/21/18 for a time sensitive construction project. We called 5 days in advance to schedule delivery and we called mid week to confirm the deliver date. When the dumpster did not arrive on the scheduled day we called and were told " we are busy and don't know if we can get to you today". We had to move forward with our protect without the dumpster which put us behind schedule and had a significant financial impact. We received no further communication from
WM. On Monday 9/24 the dumpster was dropped off in our driveway without any prior notice. We called Tuesday to request it to be picked up and it wasn't picked up until Thursday late morning, keep in mind that we have a large dumpster that was delivered 4 days Late in our driveway. WM once again delayed progress as we could not have the necessary materials delivered due to the dumpster(that should have been delivered 9/21 and gone by 9/24) being in the way. We have now received a invoice for $567 which is more than what we were quoted for delivery and it is unacceptable to charge such an amount when the service was not provided as scheduled. WM lacks professionalism, they have inadequate business processes and they obviously do not care about their customers.
contract and final bill
So it took awhile - finally got out of the contract - you need to put it in writing 90 days before the renewal (first - don't you wonder why you need a contract? our new company has no contract) then for the next 90 days they pestered me - the monthly price that we were paying was $260 with all "fees"... during that 90 days - they came from the going price all the way down to $80 a month with fees... but yet for the last 3 years we were paying increasing cost NOW suddenly you only need 1/3 of what we were paying? I stood strong - GOT out of the last month... THEN on page TWO we
had to pay $150 to have the thing removed from our property - then $65 more in fuel surcharge... cost recovery fees... and admin charge $214.13 Wow... Please customers be aware of what you sign - our contract was for $125... but from those 3 years increase to $260... love to have a job with that nice monthly raise. Why do you need a contract for trash - its trash... Please feel free to call

garbage cans
I don't understand what's SO hard to put the garbage cans and the recycle bins back where they belong. They do not belong in the middle of my driveway so I can't pull in! Multiple times I have had to stop in the middle of the street, get out of my vehicle, and pick the cans up and move them back to where they belong. I really don't appreciate my cans being knocked over and just left there, without being picked up and put back where they belong. This has been going on way too long and I pay for my garbage pickup every month! This is ridiculous!

call for class action to sue waste management for increased the fee unreasonable and in the middle of our project
Hi, My company used Waste Management to dump the trash of our construction service. They sent us a quotation at the beginning of the project and we agreed and moved forward with it. In the middle of the project, Waste Management decided to increase the rate without our acceptance. After the date that they informed us about their increasing rate, we did not order any new bins from them. Instead the bins that has been put in order before were continuing coming. Since we rented machines and our workers were working, we have to continue but could not stop in the middle like that. Waste Management stopped providing the service a few dates later and demanded us to pay a hug amount of fee. They have violated 2 things:
1 - did not honor their price and decide to increase the price in the middle of our process, making us unable to do any thing (do not have time to find a new service company to replace for their service).
2 - In their invoice, they stated that we have to pay for them in 30 days, so we still had not in a late payment at all, BUT they stopped the service without reason. Since we still had to continue to pay for our rented equipment and machine and our workers regardless of they were working or just sitting at the job site, we were bearing a big lost for our site.
3 - they increased their fee without our consent, and now demand us to pay a big bill. We called them to resolve the problem, they denied to negotiate about it but keep demanding the payment unreasonably.

servicing dumpsters at 3:00, 5:00, 12:00, 7:00, etc
WM - would you please stop servicing dumpsters between the hours 10:00 and 7:30 near residential homes. There is a group of townhomes next to to pick up locations (3110 Waugh dr, Houston, TX 77019). It wakes up my family and the neighbors in the area. We are a community with families. An example would I want to share is my 8 month old that can't sleep though the banging of the process to empty a dumpster at 3:00, 5:00, etc. It disturbs my entire family.
I have already called about this and have spoke with Bona about the route. Complaint #9283791 was supposed to stop these kinds of rude awakenings in the middle of the night.
I work 12 hr days and just want a good night sleep.

edge merrimack lowell garbage pick up
Waste management has been given specific instructions, multiple times, to not pick up garbage early in the morning at my residential building. I've been told there is even a do not disturb before 10am policy. Despite several complaints, and even a city ordinance, the garbage man comes so early in the morning (around 7am) that it wakes me up regularly and has been incredibly stressful. The garbage man is clearly aware of the complaints, and has since increased the time he takes slamming the dumpster around and ruining my sleep as well as my neighbors. It's incredibly disrespectful and an example of terrible customer service and I have had nothing but a negative experience being "serviced" by waste management. Emails have been sent, calls have been made, the truck driver (whom I have no respect for because I have seen him slam the dumpster 5+ times for no reason causing a ridiculous amount of noise) has specifically been told that he's disturbing potentially hundreds of people's sleep and yet he continues to do this. It just happened at 7am on a Saturday when we aren't supposed to be serviced. How hard it is to come after 10am? Are trash men too incompetent to realize that their job is not complicated and can easily be adjusted to accommodate the needs of customers? I hope not.

dump - public disposal service
Went to the public dump and they charged $165 for a trailer that had 1&1/2 foot tall trash. There is wood and plastic buckets and other small trash from back yard. No mattresses, no liquids, nothing toxic. I just don't understand how such a small amount of stuff can be this expensive. The employees are always so RUDE and NEVER HELPFUL. Can't explain the pricing. I will NEVER use WM EVER FOR ANYTHING again.

overcharge and unprofessional staff
Waste management has one of the most confusing and unorganized billing statements I've ever handled but I understand when I am being overcharged for a service that I did not request. I called WM in April to ask for a correction and refund (my bill was on auto-pay) and the representative agreed to make the adjustments. Fast forward a couple weeks later and I still don't see the credit to my account so I call again and this new representative told me that no previous call mentioning a credit was noted. I do have the proof of this 1hr+ call on my phone statement so this shows the unprofessional manner in which their representatives treat and disregard their customers. I ask this representative for the credit and refund which she then states was unwarranted and thus not approved. I went through the bill with her and even stated the facts but without consulting anyone she stated that a credit was still not justified and that "she did not understand why I was fighting for this credit." Why would I not fight when I was incorrectly charged?
There was no other option for me but to dispute it with my credit card company. I received notice that my dispute has been ruled in my favor after I presented the supporting documents to my credit card company. A few days later I received in the mail a letter from WM stating that they received notice of the chargeback from my credit card company and that they will adjust it on my account but they would be disputing it without any statement from us, their "valued customer." This also "may result in an open and/or past due invoice" - which happened just yesterday. I received the screenshotted email attached below stating that my service has been cancelled due to this outstanding balance and I must pay this overcharge or face collection efforts with an agency or attorney. They also cancelled my auto-pay and paperless billing for my other account with them without authorization. I'm not sure why they are being so unprofessional and not listening to their "valued customers" actual concerns. I tried to utilize their chat system on their website but looks like its only available for 1 minute M-F? I thought it was a joke but every day so far I've checked and it still stated their chat is available only from 7am to 7:01am M-F. Shows how much they want to listen to their customers concerns.

Yesterday as I sat in my garage it was heavy trash day for my neighborhood as I heard a truck coming I wasnt sure what it was as I looked out my garage I see the garbage truck come by my house extremely to fast as he went to the coldasac and turned around I walked to the road and asked him he minded slowing down as the neighborhood as children he informed me he was that when he turned the corner there was no kids out so he felt it was just fine doing the speed he was doing I say he was doing easy 25 or better as the argument escalated I walked away and the two guys on back of the truck have the nerve to say to me and a buddy over at my house [censored]img white people find it pretty [censored] that for one there was no respect for any child that may have wondered out in the road after a toy of some sort and that the two guys on back want to talk as they drive away the video I have doesn't do justice for the speed they were going...

didn't pick up garbage
The Waste Management Criminals say they picked it up, but they didn't. The green can, full of organics.
The Waste Management Criminals decline to credit the amount, stating my only option is to let them pick it up on a non-standard day.
So I agree with the Waste Management Criminals, fine, it's at the curb, come and pick it up.
But they don't. They screw me over three times, because now they didn't pick it up again. Because they are criminals. I never failed to pay any bill with them, paying each bill upon receipt. But the Waste Management Criminals, filthy scumbag trashbags like the garbage they haul, want to steal from me. Go to the restaurant I paid for 6 hamburgers they give me only 5? That's what Waste Management is. Then they say 'screw you we wont do anything about it'.
Throw all the Waste Management Criminals into Jail!

WM has the worst service ever. They have not picked up my trash for the past 3 weeks. I had to contact them on Monday 7.23.18 and today is Thursday and trash is still out in my yard. I have contact them everyday of this week and CS told me the same crap story "it'll get pick up no later tomorrow" Tomorrow comes, my trash is still sitting outside in individual bags as requested by WM to set them aside on the curbside. I am furious. I do not recommend them to anyone. This issue is not yet been resolve, trash is still outside! Waste management provides crappy service and CS continue to lie after lies.

Customer service lied to us twice saying they will come pick up a trash they forgot to pick up on our regular day !
Trash was supposed to be picked up on Thursday our regular day

I have called Friday then they promised they will come !
They didn't as they stated the bin was not out while it was there more than 48 hrs .
The weekend ended, I called Monday
I was told they will issue a ticket and at anytime my trash is out I get to call they will pick it up!
I called Tuesday stating the trash is back out
They denied that conversation stated no ticket was issued and I have to wait till my regular day or pay additional for their mistake!
I have spent 3 phone calls about 25 min each with customer service to be promised something that was not fulfilled.
I wasted my time
I have never encountered such a lack of interest to help and not caring about the Customer!

Called to cancel service - first call went well or so I thought; waited 20 minutes to talk to someone, but they actually pretended to understand what I was requesting. (cancellation of service and removal of dumpster by a specific dat) Well that date came and went with no results. So I called again waiting 20 minutes to talk to a human, it only got worse. Was passed to three different people and placed on hold each pass - I was told I needed to call another number. So, I called - waited another 20 minutes for "the next available customer service rep to become available" after explaining what I needed done - I was placed on hold while she had to read up on what the WM policies were to cancel a service! Really? And it doesn't get any better... Passed to another supposed customer service rep to be told I needed to send them proof I sold my house. Did that, only to be told it would take 30 days to complete my request -- the First request was made 30 days before but now they needed another 30 days. Spent 2 1/2 hours trying to get a customer service rep that actually understands customer service. So after all this, I am stuck with a fine for not removing a dumpster by a specific date, and a 150.00 one time removal fee.
Do not do business with this company. Overpriced, no concern for customer satisfaction. One of the worst experiences ever!

This morning around 6:05 am i was driving on main st in Mesa Az when one of your port a potty cleaning crew was just park in the middle of the road blocking traffic for about 10 min. They coukd have parked closer to the curve or even inside the parking lot so they can do their jib and not just blocking the road specially when there is only one lane of traffic because of the light rail construction.

garbage trucks leaking oil
For the past 4 years we have lived on the corner or Tompkins and Kennedy in Haggerty Sub in VanBuren Township, MI. We have dealt with oil spots up and down the road, we are concerned about the environment and unconcern about our complaints. Our children have to play in this area and it is not ok that our street looks like a road leading to the dump. Next complaint will be to the environmental protection agency! Fix your trucks!

Waste Management is turning our neighborhood into a garbage dump too! Reached out a week ago to customer service sent photos and did not get a reply.
The other side of our street is serviced by the City garbage pickup and they do not have oil spots all over the front of their homes.

You cant cancel your service. No portal to cancel service. You call, they keep you on hold for hours and then never pick up the phone, you call back and they say they can't cancel the service they have to transfer you to Sales and they won't pick up the phone. Its a circle of death. Three times on the phone over 6 hours and I cant cancel the service. This document serves as a formal document that I have canceled my service as of 06/22/2018. They cancel your service and then reinstate without your permission.
Because attempts to deceive and steal my money by fraud, I stopped your service almost half (!) years ago in Hollywood, FL.
Since then I asked many times to remove your dumpster of my property and you ignore my request, continue to try and charge me and harassing me

When they come around to pick up the trash I've notice that when there done emptying the container, the driver will get out of his truck and put the trash container up by the house for black families only in our subdivision. I did not think that the drivers were supposed to do that.

outrageous billing
I am the building manager of a residential/commercial building in downtown San Diego. The landlord has been a loyal customer of WM for 25 years.
We have had numerous issues with billing, service and collection over the years. It takes many phone calls regarding the same issue to customer service to rectify the problems. It has taken months to rectify billing issues.
We just received an outrageous bill in the amount of $459.92 ($381.36) for "overage charges". We think that this is extremely unfair and we would appreciate a review of these charges.

Waste Management has screwed me up 3 different times on this project alone, I've finally had it. This will be the last time I use Waste Management. There's always an excuse as to why my dumpster didn't get swapped out so after 10 years as a customer, I will be using Music City Waste from this point on...You guys have got me in the biggest bind ever and whoever answers your phone could care less which makes me even madder.
On a site a small as this one, they need to show up during the day. Not sure what has happened to you guys but I'm done after this job.
