Missed trash pick up
On several occasions the trash truck drives right by my barrel and I'll file a complaint for missed pick up and the driver will say my barrel wasn't out which is false. This time to try and say my barrel wasn't out, they took a picture and it's a picture down the street where you can't even see my driveway. So the girl is trying to say but the picture shows no barrel. I took my auto payment off and I said you'll get payment when I get decent service. Basically they called me a liar because the driver took a false photo.

Customer service and service day driver
I called customer service and asked for them to send a reminder to the driver to remind him that we haven't had our service yet. The agent over the phone was not friendly and tried to resolve my problem!

We are located in a plaza and have 2 ways to enter the parking lots your driver only tries 1 enter and states car parks on the street blocking his way and can't enter! Is that how you guys educated the driver to be service us like that! Now my dumpster is out in the open everyone can put their trash into my dumpster and you guys will charger me for overflow dumpster when it's not my fault!

Overcharged
My garbage and recycling has always been about $141.
I've been a WM customer for 4 years.
Why TF am I being charged over $160 ?! My services have remained the same and half the time you don't even take all my trash!

Thursday November 26 is my trash and recycle pickup day .For some unknown reason the recycle trash was not picked up. All of my neighbors recycle was picked up today. This is not the first time this has happened. I have called waste management quite a few times about the recycle not being picked up. Your company provides services to the village of Matteson and I'm a resident of the village and pay for your services through the village so therefore I do expect for services to be rendered. No container
on 9/18 my container was taken due to it being cracked ( i have requested a new container before, but did not receive one) Now WM has taken my container and failed to provide me with a new one for over a month. i keep getting it will be another 5-7 business days. Not having an outside container is very impactful. I have to keep trash inside and cannot put it out until the last minute.
Desired outcome: A new outside container delivered to my address ASAP.

Missed pick up
Waste Management today was my schedule pickup and my trash is not picked up. I wouldn't consider this a major problem, but in the past 4 months you have missed my trash at least six times and I'm paying my bill on time and in full. In addition you have missed my recycle twice and I'm paying that bill on time and info. Will you find time, with all the employees you have
to pick up my trash tomorrow? Or may I deduct all the times you've missed from my next bill. I must honestly say Waste Management you are the worst company I have ever dealt with. And while you have those beautiful commercials and how environmentally correct you are you treat your customers as garbage! Customer id [protected].

Unreasonable pick up fee of 75.00 after cancelling service
I have had service with waste management for years. They changed the day of the week they picked up my trash so we had extra trash the next week. They did not pick up the extra trash outside of the green container. We called and they said we would need to purchase an extra container. We decided to cancel service with them because the service was expensive, we have had problems with them picking up all our trash, and the customer service was not good either. We canceled and instead of refunding our 68.00 they decided that would go towards picking up the waste receptacle. The pick up fee is 75.00 I they told me the charge agreement was on my invoice. I did not agree to the charge. It is an inflated charge designed to keep people with the services.
Desired outcome: I want my refund and do not want to pay the ridiculous 75.00 fee that I did not agree to.

Charging an arbitrary fee for account cancellation
Waste Management is attempting to charge a fee for cancelling their overpriced service. I received an email yesterday (10/19/2023) with an "invoice" claiming I owe them money.
They are attempting to charge me $85.38 dollars to no longer use their service. I do not have any contract with WM. I never had one. It took multiple calls and hours of my time to cancel. Nobody mentioned anything about a cancellation charge and now I get this invoice.
The cancellation fee is completely arbitrary and random. I could just as easily claim they owe me money. This is abusive, possibly illegal, and definitely unethical activity. I have already submitted a complaint about this on BBB as well. This type of abusive business practice should not be tolerated.
Desired outcome: Revoke the cancellation fee invoice because we had no such contract.
This was not resolved. I did not see your comment because I did not get any notification that there was a comment added. Anyway, I filed a complaint with BBB regarding this which then triggered a phone call from WM corporate. They were able to reverse an additional invoice for a month that I did not have service but they did not reverse this removal fee invoice and would’ve charged me a late fee if it remained unpaid so I went ahead and paid it.

Tried to cancel our service 2 years ago. Was told we were under contract until June of this year. Called and cancelled in June. Girl tried to get us to stay with WM boss said absolutely not. Was told must send certified letter asked girl if our service was cancelled on the date I called and she stated it was and that it was documented in our file and all we had to do was send in certified letter. Sent certified letter received proof they received certified letter. Paid our last months bill of June. Took WM 3 months to pick up dumpster and now they are trying to charge us for the 3 months and following months even after they have picked up said dumpster. I believe its time for us to contact our Lawyer.

Waste and Recycling Collection Contract End
We did some competitive shopping for waste and recycling removal from our address and found another company that had better rates relative to services offered. Our contract for service through Waste Management is at the point of being renewed and or canceled and we are choosing to cancel and move forward with the alternative company. With the cancellation process of sending the certified letter informing your company of the decision I was informed we would be charged $300 per container so $600 for the removal of the 2 containers. With the transfer station being less then 5 miles from our office just find the charges related to this being excessive when the containers were delivered for free (trash) and $50 (recycling). Language within the contract is ambiguous, with fees can be added for removal. Just looking to be practical and use judgement relative to the cost of this request, and be more inline with the delivery charge as opposed to the 6x multiplier.
Desired outcome: Discount for container retrieval fee for year(s) of using your service with continual on time payment. Response would be appreciated.

Hello you have a driver in New Jersey, south jersey to be exact the yard is located in the pleasantville/woodbine area. The employee’s name is Vascell Marcus Mckoy his birthday is 8/6/92. He needs to be drug tested immediately. He is a heavy marijuana smoker. I would suggest a on the spot test because if you give him any time, even if it’s 30 minutes, he will have someone bring him clean urine.

I am moving and just received a bill for my service disconnection. There will be another tenant moving in and they will use the same bin that was here when I got here and the same one I'm leaving here.
My invoice states that there is a $75 container removal fee. First of all, the container is in the garage and has not been removed nor will it be removed. Secondly, I remember moving in and asking if I could get a new container and I was told that there was a fee for that, which is why I'm using the same one that was here.
There was no "contract" that I ended early and I am not willing to pay a $75 fee for no services rendered. I have no problem paying the remainder of my service, of course, but I did not agree to a fee of removing a bin when the next tenant is going to use it and I DID NOT REQUEST THAT IT BE REMOVED.
Desired outcome: Remove the $75 Container Removal fee.

Yard waste / Customer service
09/20/23 5:30 PM I called in to report that my yard waste was missed again for the second week. The agent was rude and did not listen. I asked to speak to management and was on hold for 18 min then told I could have a 1 time credit for 4 dollars and if I was missed again I would not get credit I could double up service which is not needed. I told the rep that is not acceptable and was still needing to speak with supervisor. I was told that I will need to wait for a route manager to call me back and that would not be for up to 72 hrs. Very poor customer service and with the current economy everyone is trying to make bills so I would hope that if I pay for a service I would either get the service or get credit for NOT getting the service! I have included photos of mine as well as just couple of close neighbors yard waste also not picked up which the rep said they only work on mine and neighbors would have to call in to complain. Which seems even worse for your customer service..

Residential trash collection service
On Jun 27 2023 I called in and cancelled my WM trash pickup service it was at the end of my billing cycle and no longer needed their service as I found another company to service my address. I went through the procedure then got transferred to another person who approved the discontinuation of my service. I figured that was the end right? NO they then billed me too pick up the waste cans. Even though I never agreed to that because they had bought out another company and just took over, never changed trash containers from the old company. OK I paid that on Jul 18 2023... Now they are continuing to bill me for trash pickup they are no longer providing.. This is BS!

Cancellation of residential service fees
Called & canceled service 5/21 since selling house & moving out of Calif. was paid utd. Was told must give 90 days notice (which I’ve never heard of!) they said they sent bill of rights 2x a year & now(100 days later) have received bill for the 90 days & gonna send us to collections. So basically they want us to pay for new homeowners trash for last 90 days & i think it’s a $ grab from a greedy customer
