security alarm
I purchased an alarm system from Weatherseal on 19/1/2011 for £5000.00 where they supposed to service and monitor my house. I have changed my telephone number at home and need to reset the system with my new number.
Not sure who to ring to make this arrangement and also to find out what arrangement being made to cover my property. Considered that I have been overcharged for this service I have a right to know who is covering this service. I have made a number of calls without success.

call centre management
Management have bad attitude, speaking down on new starters, a lot of cursing on while people are phones. Expecting new starts to better than people who have worked there longer. Office is thick with dust which is a health hazzard to people. They think they can have a attitude with you and you've not to be rude back. Never known a manager to tell you what they drive, live in or what they earn a year. I have also not been paid for trial shift.

company now wants additional £2000
I called Weatherseal to arrange quote! Christopher Kelly appeared 4pm, 3hrs 30min later he left having quoted me £4100 for Windows however to secure this he bullied me into handing over £350 cash and £375 cheque he gave me with receipt however, admin and deposit was not shown on receipt.
One week later I receive a phone call from a Syrah Amhed who said she was Chris Kelly's manager and that there was a mistake made in price and that we had to pay an additional £2000 I said we were not in the position to pay any more money and that I wanted to cancel our agreement and for her to return our money.
Syrah said she would look into this and call me back...she hasn't called so I called her and Chris Kelly neither have retuned my calls.
I want to terminate any agreement with Weatherseal as they are clearly an undesirable company to deal with. HELP
salesman
I decided on Friday the 16th of February to go on line and check out the green deal help with funding towards new Windows so I put in an application I got a phone call about 9am Saturday morning from a lady to say there was a representative in my area so I could get a free no obligation quote where they'd come up and look at my Windows etc and tell everything I need to know would only take an hour I said yes. She said someone will be with me at 11. Can't remember the sales man's name he showed up at about ten past 11 introduced himself and we sat down and he started telling me all about the Windows etc and showed me the sample we talked about what doors and Windows is like done first so he measured my 2 front doors and front window then worked out a price (£7736) I asked if that was with a discount he said yes think there was a 1000 pound taken off if I advertised and also my recycling discount came off as well I thought to myself still pretty dear. So he asked what I thought and I said I needed to think about it He asked me how much I felt I could pay a month I said maybe about 110 so he tried to work out another deal where the Window and door price went to 5000 I said if need to go think about it and check my finances at this point I may have said I was just looking for the free no obligation quote He kept asking me what did I think I could afford and he also phoned his boss several times to see if he could do me a better deal then he said what if you could afford 68 pound a month that would be 4000 for doors and window I again said I needed time and would need to speak to my son so he said why don't you phone him which I did I told him about the Windows and how much then the sales man said ask him how much he'd pay to which my son replied 2000 so I said that and the salesman said he knows nothing about doors they would be paper mashie at that price he stood up and said let me speak to him at this point I didn't like his tone of voice we sat down and I said I'd can I just get the free no obligation quote and get back to you I found him really pushy he went on about is get a check in two weeks if I did the order that day and that check would pay the deposit and the next 3 or 4 months then he asked me why I didn't want to take up the offer he said (do I smell) and liffted his arm pits and sniffed them I said no I need time to go away and think about this I was just expecting a free no obligation quote I can't afford by this time I knew he wasn't happy and I was feeling very uncomfortable with him in house as I was on my own before he left he phoned his boss and said Mrs dorward won't be placing an order as she can't afford it and hung up the phone he was not a happy person I am still quite shaken by this can't remember his name he came from Perth I hope something gets done about it as I'm worried he does this to an ealderly person and they just go ahead and sign which is so wrong
mis-sold finance agreement
Ref; F127024
16/11/2016
After a Lengthy visit for a new window quotation, we agreed what windows required and install date agreed, it was financing the purchase.
Was completely assured this agreement was the perfect one for my requirements.
I did not want a long term payment program, due to interest costs, was most willing to settle account with enhanced regular payments, which I have adhered to ie doubled the monthly instalment from £108.60 to £217.20, (proof available) after into agreement only one year, the interest charges prove to highly excessive.
I contacted Shawbrook Bank who provided the finance, to query this and after another lengthy conversation they advised me to contact Weatherseal to raise concern about being mis-sold this product.
After many attempts to contact Weatherseal thru e-mail, I still can not get a contact person with them to discuss this with.
I wish to have this Finance Agreement to be completely reviewed, with the concern of excessive interest charges investigated.

alarm system
My Dad was sold a security system by you about 7 years ago. he has now paid in full for the alarm system, approx. £5000. He was told that he would get the alarm serviced every six months, never had one. He has tried to contact you on several occasions on this matter, not been able to contact you. Yes the alarm system is still working but the motion sensors have stopped working. Basically he was sold a very overpriced product with absolutely no consumer rights. My Dads name is Norman Allen of 13 Weavers, Vange Basildon Essex. He would very much appreciate a courtesy call from you at the very least and a full service of his system as a matter of customer rights.
Refundable admin fee order no f 131863
I was advised by Sales Rep Howard Stratton the admin fee of £149 was fully refundable should we cancel the contract within 7 days in writing and do so before the surveyor has been arranged. I have followed all procedures above and I am now asking for my admin fee refund and not getting a response.
I am aware of the door step selling consumer rights and under these terms I am due 100% refund. I do not usually go through this process but as I am not recieving a response to my emails and on hold for up to 18mins on the telephone I cannot see any other means
Cancelled order
Cancelled my order F128243 on March 21st by phone and by cancellation slip on March 22nd, this was posted off and would have been received by Weatherseal within the 7 day cooling off cancellation period.
Received phone call on 23 March from salesman trying to get us to change mind about cancellation but he was told we were adament about cancellation and would like deposit of £527 plus £129 admin fee? Paid back into my account. Also filled in form on line cancelling order. Never heard back from Weatherseal and so phoned the company on April 3rd, was told it would be dealt with and they would phone me back. Have not heard from them and no money paid into account. Be assured I will not rest until it is paid back in full, even if it means legal action to be taken
Area manager for The Scottish Borders
I initially signed an agreement for 7 windows & 2 doors for £8500 (I thought it was a reasonable price). Two days later I got a quote from a local company for £6750 so I called to cancel the agreement with Weatherseal, I did this 6 days after the initial agreement.
I received a call from the area manager, Ryan, and he told me all the windows had been made. I told him this was not my problem and being a quality engineer in manufacturing that I would not have gone ahead with making the windows until after the cooling off period.
He then tried to rubbish the local company, although he didn't know who they were, saying I would be buying an inferior product. When I made it clear I was not going to change my mind he started to personally insult me saying I was not a gentleman and was a lesser man than him.
This phone call took place in the evening of 17/02/2016.
I would like to add that the sales woman who came to my house, can't remember her name but a young Indian woman, was very pleseant and I never felt pressured into signing that night so this complaint is no reflection on her.
work not completed
August 17th 2015 was told wrong surround had been used at my front door and door not properly fitted. Was told work would be carried out on Monday 9th September. 2 days before I received phonically saying work couldn't be carried out as they had not taken colour of my door so therefore door not ready. Was told I would hear within 2 weeks when door and new surround fitted...That was over 2 months ago, every time I phone I am told they will be in touch within 2 days. I have constantly phoned every week since and I am getting no where. Work no is WS 59226. Inside my front door Matt is soaking wet from rain getting under door. I pay an insurance to Weatherseal annually so I should imagine They would have fixed it by now. name & address...Mrs. Ella-Maria Dick 2, Cousland Terrace Seafield Bathgate EH47 7AT
Front door and surround
work no WS59226 Mrs Ella Dick. 2 Cousland Terrace, Seafield, Bathgate, West Lothian EH47 7AT I have been waiting for over 3 months for new front door and surround. When it was first installed there should have been an aluminium threshhold instead of plastic as I am in a wheelchair. The surround at bottom has completely broken away, rain is coming in all the time, I keep phoning them and they keep saying somone will phone me back, no one ever does. The phone no I was given to phone is [protected] but there is never anyone there to help me. .The main bolt at the top hinge on the door is nearly right out. I pay almost £100 a year to insure my windows and door, but am getting nothing back, First time someone came was 17th August and he told me it would be fixed within a month. Door doesn't even close properly...really fed up. wish I had got different company..
Sales tactics
I asked for a quote for a set of French Doors, I showed the salesman what I wanted, he told me about the company, should me a example of window which similar to fabrication of the doors. He told me about having a sign in the garden for 2 weeks promoting Weatherseal, and that would qualify me for a discount. He said there's two ways of paying 10% deposit the balance on completion. Or pay it up what was cheaper, I asked him to just give me a quote which he wouldn't so I asked him to leave my house. They are a bunch of con men don't let them in your home
Bad installation
In 29/01/13 we had new windows installed. Initially we were happy with the installation but later realised that one of the bedroom windows was letting in a lot of cold air, as well as one of the hopper windows in the living room.
The company phones about every six months to see if we require any other new products. On one of these calls( made about a year ago} I told them the problem of the two windows and they sent a workman out to resolve the problem. We had hoped that to be the end of it only to find out later that there was no change with the windows. A few months later I noticed that the same bedroom window was harder to open and close. The catch for the window came off from it's fitting. After looking it can be seen that not all the screw holes had been used. The kitchen window is now similar as it does not always catch on the fitting as it should. Also there is a draught from under the window sill on the stairs. The living room window sill also moves at the near end. Two phone calls since we and we still no response.
Windows
Standard size tilt & turn windows fitted into non standard size window.
Because false sill has no camber wind pushes rain in between the window & false sill causing damp inside under window facing. Also these windows let the rain in when left open. This was not pointed out at time of sale. Possibly a design fault. Also cannot lock windows open. If there is through breeze either the front or back window slams shut.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Garage Door
Have purchased nine windows, patio doors, back door and garage door from Weatherseal. The garage door electric box stopped working and even though it is under their ten year guarantee period I had to send a cheque for £90.00 just to get an engineer to come and look at the problem. He was unable to sort it as it was a faulty electric box which had to be replaced a cost £276 and guess who had to pay that, me. So anyone looking at Weatherseal for supplying anything then ignore the 10 year guarantee and assume that anything that goes you will end up paying for the repair, customer loyalty means nothing to them.
windows
some windows are ok but others cant open to wash would like some one to come out asap or going to an ombusman asap. and will put comlaint to all uk newspapers for selling customers faulty goods that do not meet health and saftey standards,
have took photos which will be attached cannot get them washed my window cleaner retired and I am not going up so many feet to clean windows this matter is only with the kitchen & bathroom and upper stair landing windows which do not revolve to be washed from the inside.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
