WebCreationUK With holding my website

When I first spoke to them as a potential candidate for building my website I was told that after the build ext the website is mine and I can take it elsewhere . Well first of all the build was a complete fiasco , constantly having to reiterate everything and fix constant mistakes , they put you to people whom are clearly from India etc and it is a constant communication problem . Continually felt like I was dealing with a ruddy toddler Finally the site was built after months, not great but I was so sick by this point . Then after the year and the initial large fee , they then want another huge fee for another year . Mind you this is after Covid 19 and now the cost of living crisis so we are all just trying to get by . Told them I can’t afford what in my opinion is nothing short of daylight robbery and that I now needed them to email me details so I can take my website somewhere else . In all honesty even if I had the money I refuse to give them a penny more . Back and forth with several members of the team emailing me . Time and again I responded with asking for details to take my website away . Eventually after getting seriously angry with their nonsense , I get an email that tells me to click the link and download my files . Repeatedly I attempt to do so , foolishly initially thinking I may be doing something wrong but no . Every time I click the link it is empty . I now want a full refund and they have now decided on s new tactic . They claim they have set up a complaint something or other . What have they really done ? Tried to fob me off with another way of giving me the run around . Absolute scam artists and now it is time to take legal action to get my money back as well as take all my cataloged proof everywhere I can to expose them .

WebCreationUK Website design service

I purchased this service to update my website. They asked for my CP Panel Login details which I provided in good faith. Once the page was up and running, after much delay, I requested my login details to pass to my web maintenance provider. They have consistently withheld this information which was always mine from the start. I am utterly disgusted with their lack of communication despite several efforts to obtain this information. I have yet to recieve a satisfactory resolution and will be escalating this as this is IT theft in my view and I am stuck with a site my website maintenance can not update. I will never use this revive again and want out!

Desired outcome: My CP panel Login details recieve and the domain transferred back to my trusted previous providers

WebCreationUK I have cancelled and requested a refund

I was due to have my first talk with the. lady assigned to work on my web page design yesterday the 11 08.2021. Just a few days since submitting my design brief.
I changed my mind about going ahead after receiving an email from another of their departments stating the extra costs for web writing.
I have asked repeatedly for a refund of the 50% £510.00 deposit I have paid as entitled to under the 14 day statutory cooling off period. I have been told I will not get the money back as they are exempt from having to reimburse it.
I feel like I am being treated very badly by a company who I thought would be far more professional with their dealings with customers.
Today the 12 08 2021 i have tried through several more emails to get a response and so far nothing.
I want a refund

This company is a embarrassment to the industry of webdesign & development. The plug should have been pulled on them by now. They lure you in with the first design and thereafter you are dealing with non English speaking developers from India many of whom have very poor communication skills and very poor understanding of the English language.

Do not be fooled by Webcreation UK they are dreadfull and will have taken your deposit to find out soon after how bad they are. I would not touch them even witha barge poll. BEWARE!

Regarding: Incomplete- Crown Royal Hospitality

I am writing to you regarding the website: Crown Royal Hospitality. I have given my website to be build by your company after I saw your re-assuring advert. After I have given the work to be done and been verified by the company and quoted for I have so far paid the ¾ of the price; You quoted me depending on the amount of work involved and I we both agreed and I have so far, I have fulfilled my obligation in the Contract; but the work that I have so far been waiting for is nowhere done; far from completion.

Deadlines were note not respected as you promise that about 6 to 8 weeks for the completion of the whole work, so far that isn't the case.
I have been misled and very disappointed with the way I have been treated and the way I have been dealt with so far.

I have tried to solve it amicably; I am not being listened to. If it is a misunderstanding, I am willing that we remediate this issue as soon as possible and get things moving.

There is a Breach of Contract:
And as a consequence of that, I have lost potential customers and businesses as well as revenues.

I have also visited reviews left regarding your services and it does not go in your favour really; it is very poor.

The project manager is spending a few minutes a week or a month sometimes to spare on my project. It has been about two years now. It looked to me like the project manager had several work to do by himself and not having enough time to dedicate himself to my site. I have lost thousands of pounds because of waiting on the work to be completed.

I have exhausted all my effort in dealing with Anuj and now with Peter Fletcher, who is not willing to listen; but instead being very rude and unprofessional. I have so far being maltreated and insulted; and putting a complaint against Peter Fletcher; and for my work to be done properly. I am a customer and the least that I deserve is for the company to deliver at least what they promised on the tin.

It is very amateurish and unprofessional. I am soliciting you to help in completing this site professionally and beautifully as you have promised on the advert.

One is call Peter Fletcher is not prepared to listen and solve any issues. the site has taken more than a year and half and it is not even done yet. and what is done is not satisfactory. I am willing for them to carry on and finish the site as i am loosing revenue and potential customers. them getting in touch to solve the issue will be beneficial for all of us instead of going to court; in the worse scenario, that is what is the other option; and last option that can be avoided.

WebCreationUK Mis sold service

This company is an absolute joke.

I contacted them to build me a canvas printing website. I had two people previously attempt to make this for me using networks like fiver and they both failed.

I know that I this company are just a bunch of middlemen (they outsource all work abroad and couldn't build a website between them) but I thought at least they will be able to connect the links and build me the website that I have requested.

After telephone consultations of me going into great detail how I want it to function, and what website I would like it to be like. The salesman Darren, told me what software would achieve my goals priced it up for £3600.

I agreed and paid half upfront.
I was quoted 7 weeks in July and now we are in February and they haven't done anything.

Websites previews they have shown me looks like a 10 year old did it. The canvas printing functionality was for custom t shirts printing. And this was in December.

I told them that this is nothing like I wanted.

Now I have requested a refund as they haven't done any work on it and they have refused. Not because they have done work like I have seen on other reviews. Because they have used software that I agreed to in the contract.

Bearing in mind I have no idea what software would I need that's why I came to them in the first place. Now because I have been mis sold a product they are now telling me because I have agreed as Darren told me this is what I need, I can not get a refund.

Now Darren is saying that to achieve what i want there is a £7000 software but I only agreed to £3600 one. I have told them that this was never mentioned. There sales department clearly doesn't know how to sell. If what I want will cost me £7000 plus why sell me something for half the price?

I have mentioned that with all things, if it is going to cost more to get the job done, you should re estimate the work. Let the customers know it will cost more to achieve the goals. And then let the customer have a choice to proceed or decline and get a refund as the work one be satisfactory if they don't proceed with the new estimate.

I have asked for my design brief which I have filled out online, and no one will provide me with a copy of it as it will prove them wrong and incompetent.

I advise anyone who decide to use this company to be very very specific. Don't agree to software agree to functionality only. And if you want a basic website. Just go to places like fiver or freelancer. At least when they can't complete it to your satisfaction they will refund your money.

I will now be taking this company to court, as I wanted to be up and running by Christmas, they have failed to deliver and refusing to terminate the contract and refund me.

WebCreationUK Do not trust

I am being extorted for more money from au.webcreationau.com

Not only did they deliver an unfinished website which they are holding all of my back end credentials so that I can't move my website to a different company to try and save.

They keep telling me I need to pay them more money if I want my credentials. I have sadly already spent literally thousands with them.

I wish I had done my research as it turns out they're not even an Australian business and are located in the UK

It is clear that I'm not the only one who has been scammed by these people and my story is so similar to everyone else's who has written a review about au.webcreationau.com online on other websites.

WebCreationUK Poor ecommerce web design

Hired this company in June to create website with cart. The website is small and it's Oct and it still was not done correctly. Had to hire another company to fix what the WebcreationUS designer screwed up. They don't care if your a business loosing money because they got theirs. This company has no business creating websites for businesses. If you decide to hire this company anyway, DO NOT pay them the final payment until your site is up and running and meets your requirements. They will tell you not worry after the final payment for they will fix all the bugs, but it will take them forever. If the designer knew what he was doing and was very familiar with the shopping cart, it should only take a matter of hours and not days. Also, pay them by either a credit card or Paypal so you have a chance to dispute the charges if your looking to get a refund.

WebCreationUK Dismal failure to build a website

Had 1 site built from these people and it took 15 months to build, they could not build a site with multi products of different colours and had to have a page per product. Site looked great but then I Designed it. Decided to get another with the exact requirements ( Paps) and another 15 months down the track still fighting for the website requested. This one looks great - why not I designed it again. Begged and begged for UK builders and was given Eastern Europe and then Pakistan. Huge waste of money, time and most important NO website up and running. Never - Never touch these people, they are crims.

I made the mistake of appointing WebcreationUk to build my website and they are one of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've ever dealt with. The have a very polished and professional UK based sales team that are very good at convincing you that they're a professional and legitimate business but they're not. As soon as you hand over your money you are then passed to an India based design team who are just awful. Possibly the worst experience I've ever had with any business. Getting a website from them was like drawing blood from a stone and I bought and provided them with a theme.

Living Hell, They reel you in with a 'professional website' FAKE REVIEWS. Then when you put a deposit down they drop communication and send you to a team in INDIA to make the website. Unfortunately the team they have in India aren't professional website designers and you are always in communication with different people and your concerns aren't addressed...

WebCreationUK Service and delivery

As a consumer and as a business owner, providing good, sincere and honest customer service is not hard to deliver. It costs much less to keep an existing customer than to win a new customer, so retaining existing customers is more profitable for any business - not so? No, not for Webcreationuk! This is a company that is simply not bothered in resolving customer complaints effectively or amicably, and presents perfectly well, how effective they are at losing customers, as well as keeping the deposits of their clients, for mediocre service and VERY POOR delivery of unprofessional website and logo designs - delivered...
Unfortunately, it seems that I am not the only person to experience the insensitive and unfair wand of Webcreationuk's sheer lack of service, and be forced to forfeit my deposit, only be left with a bunch of sales words to show for my deposit. We all know that negative word of mouth spreads and is believed at twice the rate of positive word of mouth, and given my experience and the cost thereof, I believe Twitter, FB and any social media will support my consumer experience straight away.

Any consumer reporting a problem or faced with an issue is looking for an easy reporting process, to be acknowledged and have the matter dealt with quickly, effectively AND FAIRLY.

Once the deposit is paid, you are requested to complete a brief and attach information that will assist the " web designers" in creating a unique and bespoke website. I was informed that each website is created entirely for the client and not from a template. I included a FULL detailed pdf created on PowerPoint as my brief/vision board with images, a full description of what I was looking for, included the colour scheme, look and feel as well as ideas to guide the designer. In Interior design, we follow a similar process with our clients to ensure that we are on the same page in all aspects, before we begin work. I was promised delivery of my logo and mock ups of the website design within a week via email. There is no personal communication with the designer and one has no idea where the designer is either. From the start of the process you are passed from one person to the next before you have an idea of who you may be dealing with.

I requested an elegant, sophisticated, unique website design that would capture the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's era - embracing the circle of life for a boutique private residential care and a concierge service for the elderly. While incorporating aspects of interior design such simplicity, , attention to detail and clarity. My brief included fonts, images of fashion and design, texture and colour, and details of the look and feel with enough inspiration to portrait my company...

My logo and website mock up sent to me via email, with an email that says they have spent considerable time and effort researching my brief etc etc etc... and how convinced they are that I will approve of their designs (are attached for your viewing) - had absolutely NO connection to my brief. I have absolutely no idea where they obtained these ideas from as they have no connection to what I was looking for, did not resemble a single part of my brief and looked to be one messy design - my daughter would do better at aged 10. They are not original, had no organisation, and proved to show that they had ignored my brief and me as a client.

I understand that this is a process, and even if I had given Webcreationuk a vague brief, it is their duty to make sure they understand me as a client to ensure they deliver on their service. I complained immediately and was merely responded to via email that they apologise for my disapproval and that I should wait a few more days for another design. I telephoned the company and was disconnected. I then emailed the sales team and was told to contact the helpline. I telephoned the helpline and was again passed from person to person via vague staff members, and finally got to speak to the "Project Manager" who paid no consideration, sensitivity or responsibility to my complaint. He merely said I can forward my complaint to a link he provided. I lost all confidence in working with this company and requested they close my account and refund my deposit for works NOT DONE. However I was told they will zero my balance, close my account and I would forfeit my deposit. I telephoned back to talk to yet another person who then passed me on to yet another person within the 'help desk" who then said I could speak to her manager who has credibility to assist with my matter. I have emailed him and await his call.

Webcreationuk demonstrated how good they are at taking your money. They have made no repairs to rectify this matter amicably, took no responsibility in investigating my complaint, no employee contacted me to assist me or offer me any solution to rectify their incapability to deliver a service or website or logo design.

Webcreationuk could have a better procedure and policy in place to assist consumers, as well as take the responsibility to accept that they have not delivered a service promised and refunded my entire deposit without any further difficulty! Most people walk away from companies like this, which sadly detract trust from the GOOD DESIGN COMPANIES.

I am disgusted and furious - companies such as Webcreationuk should not be allowed to operate!

Please do your research about them. Just Google “WebcreationUK problems” and see all the people they have done this too!

We had a successful social/dating site, we approached webcreationuk to update our site. In 2009 we wanted to bring it upto date and bring lots of new features into the site. The job we were requesting needed skilled web designers and we made that clear to the sales person. After an in-depth explanation of what we wanted the sales person (Mark Slade) promised us the world. Impressed by the company we proceeded with the website and were initially told the website would be 9/12 weeks (order and payment made on the 17/03/2009). We made the initial payment and were excited by the promises being made, at the time I remember thinking I would find it hard to wait the 9/12 weeks.
The glitz and glamour of the Bath office and the professional demeanour was soon out the window and we were passed on to our project manager in India, Gurbir Singh. Gurbir was horrified to find out the complexity of the website webcreationuk had said would be no problem and made that clear in his correspondents to us. Initial designs came through and to our horror they were so poorly constructed and so aesthetically awful we ended up putting counter designs in ourselves. Literally designing the site ourselves and getting them to copy the design. It got to the point that I was putting more time into the initial correspondents and designing the site than I was my full time job. Every request, every little aspect of the site was a massive hassle, they could not complete the simplest of tasks. After the initial month we hadn't progressed at all, and this was when it started to go quiet, we would be lucky if we received an email every two weeks. We would be promised aspects of site would be built only to hear nothing for weeks. I have full correspondents an emails to back this up as I have seen on other reviews webcreationuk claim that reviews are written by their competitors so I implore you to go to www.chatbelt.com and see all the aspects of the site that haven't been fixed under the "life time guarantee"
7 months into the site build we had a front page and no database, I had sent countless emails to head office and India with very little response. I finally spoke to someone who seemed to care, we were 5 months over schedule (Mark Robson) We had a huge lists of faults with the design site and each week we would send an email of the things not working and each week we would receive an email confirming they had fixed 1 of 10 faults. In the end we sent emails with things highlighted in red in the hope that someone actually pay attention to tens of faults they had created. After a huge amount of complaining webcreationuk apologised for the 1st designer and put someone new in-charge of our project. (Anuj Garg) And this brought the third wave of false hope a feeling that would become all too familiar when dealing with this absolute joke of a company. The second designer started to return emails and in-fairness he was quicker than the first, by mid June 2010 after over 300 emails back and forth he was ready with the site. We weren't happy with the site but the lack of progress meant we pushed forward anyway. 15 months after the project had first begun! We paid for the site and hosted away from webcreationuk due to their server restrictions (fair enough) As the site went live aspects of the site would fail, i.e the chatroom licence would expire the database wouldn't work correctly. This would happen weekly. Until they told us they wouldn't fix it. "what about the life time warranty?" I asked. They claimed because I had it on different servers they wouldn't be able to offer this service even though they had all the login details. Its worth pointing out that they were the ones that told us they couldn't host it and secondly they offered us a life time warranty at the start. CRIMINALS! In the end we made a choice that would take the site to a real web-designer and pay the full cost to get it fixed up and working, I have approached 4 web-designers; none of which are prepared to go near the site due to the language its written in. I'm left in position were I have a broken site on an expensive sever that no one will fix for me. I've poured years of my life into this project only to be treated like a mug by webcreationuk. I will be taking legal action and I just hope if you're reading this I can save you from a similar experience...please please don't believe the reviews written by their staff!
Since then they have asked me to take down the reviews and they would fix the site, they done 10 minutes of work again and then left me hanging again for another 4 months still paying £70 per month for servers to keep the site alive what a joke of a company how do they get away with it

WebCreationUK Poor service

I hired this company in June to create my website.
You are never told when they take your money that someone in India is the one to work on it. You are told that you will have a personal liaison to help you understand the tech talk.
I have heard from my so called Liaison twice.
The person who is creating the site continuously changes. So you are never working with the same person. I continually get emails requesting information I have have sent two or more weeks before.
Although they tell you they will create your website, in reality they only enter 20 items. And then send you a document on how to do it your self.

Don't wast your money on this company. There are plenty of American based companies to choose from.

WebCreationUK Website design

My problems with this company are well documented on various websites.
Having received numerous complaints from other companies (2 in the past week) my question is this:

Have you had a bad experience with the above company?
Missed deadlines for completion, inept webdesigners, non- responsive staff with poor language skills, suffered financial loss, taken court proceedings, been given incentives to leave positive feedback on forums, etc?
Have you reported this company to Trading Standards, Office of Fair Trading, Watchdog etc ?

Horrendous!

I finally spoke to someone who seemed to care, we were 5 months over schedule (Mark Robson) We had a huge lists of faults with the design site and each week we would send an email of the things not working and each week we would receive an email confirming they had fixed 1 of 10 faults. In the end we sent emails with things highlighted in red in the hope that someone actually pay attention to tens of faults they had created. After a huge amount of complaining webcreationuk apologised for the 1st designer and put someone new in-charge of our project. (Anuj Garg) And this brought the third wave of false hope a feeling that would become all too familiar when dealing with this absolute joke of a company. The second designer started to return emails and in-fairness he was quicker than the first, by mid June 2010 after over 300 emails back and forth he was ready with the site. We weren't happy with the site but the lack of progress meant we pushed forward anyway. 15 months after the project had first begun! We paid for the site and hosted away from webcreationuk due to their server restrictions (fair enough) As the site went live aspects of the site would fail, i.e the chatroom licence would expire the database wouldn't work correctly. This would happen weekly. Until they told us they wouldn't fix it. "what about the life time warranty?" I asked. They claimed because I had it on different servers they wouldn't be able to offer this service even though they had all the login details. Its worth pointing out that they were the ones that told us they couldn't host it and secondly they offered us a life time warranty at the start. CRIMINALS! In the end we made a choice that would take the site to a real web-designer and pay the full cost to get it fixed up and working, I have approached 4 web-designers; none of which are prepared to go near the site due to the language its written in. I'm left in position were I have a broken site on an expensive sever that no one will fix for me. I've poured years of my life into this project only to be treated like a mug by webcreationuk. I will be taking legal action and I just hope if you're reading this I can save you from a similar experience...please please don't believe the reviews written by their staff!

WebCreationUK Money stealing

DO NOT USE THEM, EVER. I'm latest victim of webcreationuk scam. I was approach by Sam from sales department which promise that website will be finish within 4 weeks. I paid them 50% of total amount in advance. 8 MONTHS later website still doesn't work. BE CAREFULL THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. I contacted them many times and I spoke with Mark Eden he will tell you lots of ### and months after still wont work. How much money I have lost, It probably would be better for me to leave them long time ago and go somewhere else. In other words they should pay you for staying with them.
I want to sue them and get my money back so if there is anyone doing so and need a witness or statement please feel free to contact me. I'm also sending an email to trading standards and BBC watchdog. Please do the same.

Absolutely terrible service. Work is farmed out to a cheap labour country. The website looks like a 6 year olds design. Our website has been over a year in the making...yes a year. £1400

WebCreationUK Holding domain name and emails hostage without fair refund

Same exact problems as the other complaints on this site and the BBB. Same exact problems as the other negative reviews. You can't get ahold of the web designer on the phone at all, their rule is "its not allowed". So I switched services, and WebcreationUS would not give any kind of refund without me having to call my bank. After that they complied without a fight. It shows how frequent they deal with this. Now they are trying to hold my domain name hostage and email account name server info. Meaning they stopped my email accounts that i legally own and are freezing all my email accounts, while i loose all my emails/data, customers business and money. They wont release it so we can't part peacefully. Trust me, trust the complaints. Plenty of other companies. DONT GO WITH THEM. Save your time, grief and money. The company, or scam, is "operated" by 3 known individuals. Only 1 if you count the "work" that never gets done after nearly 12 weeks of just only a non-fuctioning "picture". There is Luke from the UK called the project manger, handles the problems (Very Rude). Chris the only in the US and only seems nice answering calls from an Arizona number just to sell you their misleading "service" and trys to convince you they are the lowest price designers ever (lie), they start with a luring e-commerce offer at 1500 then charge you 800 dollars more half way through. And the web developer/designer keeps changing because they are coming and going from India as the names keep changing and never able to call them. They hide there information as a private registrar to prevent people from contacting them and seeing there business address.

WebCreationUK Poor quality work and appalling customer service

I am writing on this forum to ensure that not even one more hard working, honest person loses money to Webcreation UK. I hired them to design my website, and that was a HUGE mistake.

From the moment I handed over my 50% deposit, the sales guy who was so readily contactable earlier, was not available on the phone and would not even acknowledge or reply to emails. He said he would support me if there were any issues!

The delayed designs I have had back are poor, but the logo designs are even worse! One design was just a picture I sent as an example with my company name pasted in! When I queried this, I was not even given a proper reason, just that they were "working with me", and that "the logo design is a small part of the overall package we provide our clients". There is no mention of this on the ecommerce package they offer, and in any case, the work should still be completed to a good standard, or at least one where the client will not be infringing on any trademarks! This particular "change" took over 1 week for them to complete, and that was with me chasing.

As they have refused to give me a refund, I have asked for a breakdown of all costs, only to be told by their senior project manager that "I am unable to provide you with a breakdown of all of the hours that our admin, development and support team have spent on your project." The work done so far has been of poor quality, and I simply wanted to know how long had been spent on it and by whom so that they could justify keeping my deposit. This refusal has led to a complete breakdown of trust.

PLEASE PLEASE please do not use Webcreation UK. You will regret it. Their smooth talking sales guy will take your cash and disappear! Their "customer support" team will not reply to emails. Their designers will get to your changes when "they reach your email in their inbox" (another wonderful quote from the support team at Webcreation UK). Avoid at all costs!

Avoid web creation uk at any cost! Many promises, nothing in reality!

It seems that I am the latest victim of a very dishonest, unreliable, unprofessional company webcreationuk.

I will be in touch with you shortly to discuss the possibilities of taking serious action against webcreationuk.

I have very good and effective ideas and plans that would help very much in our positions.

I pledge here I will strive and do all the possible things to take my right from them and get compensated of all the loss we have had during designing our website.
