Maintenance issues
There is a horrible rat infestation problem throughout the whole property. They do not maintain lawn care even though it is is the lease that they are supposed to. Their leasing staff is rude, snarky, and do not return your phone calls. My floor throughout my whole home is bucking with water damage, and no check for mold. my ceiling has a huge crack in it due to a toilet leak upstairs that flooded down my walls and floors. i have reached out to corporate numerous times, and numerous times was told i was not allowed to do that… with still no update on my maintenance issues. currently a piece of my flooring is being held down with blue construction tape. they continuously send maintenance men out unprepared, who mark the work orders as “done” instead of reassigning it. i have emails to prove EVERYTHING.
Desired outcome: I want my a percentage of my rent to be refunded to me for the length of time i have been complaining about all these issues with no resolution.

There is always a problem around. And anytime you go to office you get a run around. The grounds here use to be beautiful. Not anymore! They do bare minimum. Drug dealers park old unlicensed cars here and sit in them all through the day doing drugs and dealing. Office response to everything is, it’s parked in city streets can’t do anything. New renters come with campers huge campers park them. Take up 3 to 4 parking places. Every time I go to my car. There are empty packages from pot smokers laying In parking area. Oh and we pay for trash pickup. Haha that’s a joke, hit and miss on pickup. Cars here rattle your windows going bye all night. Just point blank this place is going down hit fast. And know one here cares. Oh and the rent continues to go up. Without any improvements. $200 every year. These far from new apartments. It’s as if they like the move in move out rate. Maybe because of getting big deposits. I use to love it here. But when there is a problem neighbor they make the good neighbor move to different apartment instead of the problem renter. Please just show pride in ownership for your property. Disabled people can’t move constantly. Appreciate your good loyal renters.
Desired outcome: Waiting on outcome. Feeling nothing will change anyway
This is so true. I feel at this point if all the residents come together, we can file a class action suit against them.
Bexley crossing at providence
We have been living at Bexley for quite some time and I can tell you many horror stories. From the maintenance staff calling the complex "lipstick on a pig" to multiple leaks, multiple AC issues to the lack of concern that comes from the staff in terms of habitibality and safety.
We had a flood in our apartment due to upstairs neighbors putting grease down their disposal. This caused garbage disposal water to overflow from our sink and cover the floor in an inch of gross food water including the carpeted bedroom. We didn't get a carpet cleaner for more than 3 days after the incident, the clog wasn't resolved until 4 days after the incident, and even then we still had a leak under our sink and coming from the master bathroom ceiling which is where they keep their AC units for some unknown reason (get ready to call maintenance all the time for leaks from this) The property manager and regional property manager thought it was appropriate to give us 2 25 dollar gift cards for the "inconvenience". We expressed our displeasure with this since we spent more on that ordering in since we didn't have use of our kitchen, let alone the damage to personal belongings. They took our drawer that was waterlogged for 3 days and returned the same drawer! It's warped and no longer fits correctly in the cabinets. We have a leak stain on our ceiling that was supposed to be fixed a month or more ago. We had our AC go out before for multiple days and they didn't even show up at 80+ degrees to even give us a window unit. Disgusting, greedy company.
We have reached out as far up as Lynn, the regional property manager for Weinstein properties, and have not found a good resolution.
We have asked for mold inspections multiple times with no concern from the office. The whole apartment smells like mold because of this incident. Then when I asked if we could break our lease due to these conditions, we were told we would need to pay to leave early. Beware of these apartments. For close to 2000 dollars a month you can get an apartment worth 800 bucks a month.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the property manager, Nicole, for how the situation was handled as well as a deduction from rent since I had no use of kitchen for 5 days.

move out scam
We were not told and cannot find it in writing that they charge the tenants who move out a carpet replacement cost. We did the walk through with their staff and and they saw carpet was not an issue it looked brand new and was not checked as an issue. We were there as a transition home for 5 months and took care of it and paid nonrefundable deposits for pets which were crated on the tile floor. They added to the checkout list afterwards the carpet charge of $616. They charge for other stuff like cleaning the oven no issue there and want to pay what we owe minus the carpet they will not take payment except for the whole amount. Property Bexly Flower Mound TX.
Desired outcome: remove the carpet replacement charge
They have not only pulled this same exact same scam with myself at bexely round rock but several others as well. Currently awaiting my court date because i sued them over it. Im started to think this is a nation wide company practice and a massive class action lawsuit.
I just moved out last month, they charge me $5,000 for these damage.
work order #1485709/other - other
I call to put in the work order on 10/3/18 at 9:12 am the lady assured me that the work order would be handle as top priority. I callback around 4pm to check on my status of the work order the lady sarcastically said "umm.. You just put the order in at 9:12 am.. Sooo, they just haven't gotten to it yet". I went in the office on october 4th and advised the lady in the office that the work order has not been completed. She said the she will be sending it "top priority" because my clothes has begun to mildew. However, the work order still haven't been completed! It's been a week and the work order still has not been completed. I see the maintenance people riding around and talking to each other. However, none of the maintenance people has rode to my house and talk to me about fixing my washing machine. No one has called or came to my home to check on my work order. I was assured a week ago that my work order was "top priority" and it would escalate due the mildew in the washing machine. Now, my clothes are ruin and my house have flies and smell horrible! At this point, I am beyond irritated about the lack of professionalism and false expectation of a "top priority" work order. I have to throw away the clothes in the washing machine, consistently ventilate and disinfect my house due to the smell of mildew, and buy pesticide for the insects that was cause by the mildew from the washing machine. This is very disappointing and upsetting that this issue still has not been resolved.

When we moved into the Belmont Apartments in Durham so my partner could get his MBA at Duke we were given water-damaged, dirty apartment at move in.
The living experience throughout was subpar but manageable.
Move Out was when we really got screwed. We were emailed dirty pictures of an apartment that WASN'T OURS mixed in with a few pictures of our previous apartment. #shady
We were then told we would be charged for chips and scratched to the countertop that we noted at move-in on the inspection document.
Meanwhile, I have email receipts of Weinstein acknowledging:
1) They sent photos of another apartment with ours
2) The apartment inspection form that notes the pre-existing damages that we were charged for as well as
3) The final pictures of the state of our apartment (which was given back professionally cleaned, and 10 times better than when the keys were given to us at move in)
I emailed with them repeatedly, they told me the manager would call me. Michah never did. They communicated this am via email that they would not be returning our security deposit.

Hello, I'm writinf because I would like to be moved from my townhouse . My house was shot in the crossfire of a shooting with multiplied gunshot wounds into my living room while my 1 year old daughter and 2 year old son were in the living room . I feel they are at harms way I understand that the requirements are to have no late rent for 6 months however I have been late the last two months but it has been paid . I have never been taking to court . The police say they feel that the home is targeted with that being said I am very uncomfortable with my children being in the home . I would love to continue being a resident here I love the neighborhood and the staff but unfortunately I cannot risk my children's being hurt or possibly dying . I would like for you guys to take into consideration of what happened and for the sake of my children allow me to move townhouses . Please contact me layton.[protected]@gmail.com or through phone at [protected]
moving out
Hello Weinstein properties!
My husband and I... we went to Chicago for vacation for May 23th thru June 13th. However, we got one phone call from one of the Weinstein properties worker and asked about renew the contract or not so we told them, "We are not renewing, we are going to move out." Then they kept called us almost for three days during the vacation time. I understood they wanted us to stay but we already told them we are going to move out.
Today we went to office to make sure we are going to move out July 29th.
However, one of Weinstein properties manager {I think} said, " We have to pay the 830 dollars for August because we did not tell and make the paper sign." therefore, we told her that we got a phone call from one of you guys and told them we are going to move out." Then she said, " but you guys do not have paper." which means document.
Here is the question... then Why did you call us and ask about renew?
Also you guys made mistakes when one of my dogs died and we showed the document. you guys charged us another 3 months after we showed you. however, we was not angry or threaten you guys. we talked nicely. you guys told us that WE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL PEOPLE.
where is your help? is this your help that scam us?
very dishonest office staff
Live at one of their properties in North Carolina. And have seen several turnovers of the office staff. One thing they all have in common, they are all very dishonest. As well as having 'an attitude'. So this must be something taught on the corporate level, when these [censored] get trained. And they've turned my property into almost a ghetto in short order. We have a dump now of used broken furniture and all kinds of garbage in plain sight since the [censored] tore down the little enclosed area where this crap use to go. Whoever made that decision needs to get fired. This property has literally become a dump.
safety
This property is great with assisting in maintenance requests and other things of that manner however, the safety of my neighborhood is concerning. I've had my house broken into TWICE, on one occasion it was a homeless man, the second time resulted in Me getting sexually assaulted, and yesterday morning I had a man standing in my window watching me as i got dressed for work. I don't feel comfortable/ safe here at all and once my lease is terminated I will not be returning. it's taking forever for them to find a "big enough reason" to terminate my lease. Sexual assault is a big enough reason for me. Not to mention the rising crime rate in the neighborhood itself. All in all it's not a safe place where I feel comfortable and anyone spending their hard earned money on their home deserves to feel safe in secure in the place they reside.
the onsite rental agents.//bexley village at concord mills
This Property looks good from the outside..Mostly Neighbors are Friendly except it is a Pet friendly property and owners will not pick up after pets/dog hair everywhere. this could be nip in the bud with proper cleaning in breezeways and on property. Have put in Maintenance request for cleaning of breezeways, etc. Should not have to continuously do this. I am allergic to Dog and Cat fur, but pets are everywhere, but do not have a problem with that I do not have to Live with them in my House then I am fine. Talk to Property Leasing office for proper cleaning is like pulling teeth//constant Lies like water running. This brings uneasy confrontations that as a Tenant paying these prices should not have endure living on this property.
Mold & service issues with apartment
Due to obvious mold in our vents and under our apartment, we ended up in an extended fight with management to move out early - everyone had respiratory issues in our house. We did multiple at home mold tests, which property management said were not admissible. All showed a lot of mold growth. We asked that Kings Crossing do their own test, but they refused and ignored our multiple requests. The floors in our town home were badly warped, enough to trip people, from moisture under the house. After an extended battle where I had to go to the district manager to get permission to move. It took months to get a final answer. They finally allowed us to move, but then they sent us a very high move out bill. We have our own pictures from our move out, and the charges are ridiculous. We had actually changed apartments while living in the complex and previously had only a $50 charge - the floor damage was much worse in the first apartment. It is obvious that the charges are extreme and they are retaliating for other reviews I have posted. They also wanted us out fast. I fell on the warped floor during move-out, so if the fireplace had ashes left in it, then I think they could clean it.
I would warn anyone from moving here. On top of our pictures of the mold, we talked to a previous property manager who said the mold is a joke to property management who is VERY aware it is an issue. We were also told to look at the reviews. Many of the positive ones are from employees that have other accounts. Positive reviews have quick responses. Negative take a long time. We have also had multiple animals trapped in our walls that had to be removed, a neighbor that left dog waste on the shared patio space (when he was told to clean it or it rained it got washed onto our area), very noisy neighbors, etc. I know of several people who have lived here and no one would recommend it.
We have actually contacted an attorney and the local news stations (problem solvers) in hopes something will be done. We wanted to keep the issues between us and the property, but they refuse to be reasonable. Please note, we lived in the complex for 4 1/2 years with no complaints against us and always paid rent on time. I have attached a few pics from our mold complaint.
Management
Stayed at bexley at concord mills in concord, nc for 3 months and must say it rated up there with some of the worst experiences in my 54 years. Leasing agents and management were caught lying multiple times. Corporate would not answer even after i emailed them directly. Save yourself the headache, it's not worth it.
Robber Barons of the 21st century
Unbelievable. Do not work here. Their break policy is that you can take one if there's enough coverage to handle the people coming in the door and answer the phone both of which is non-stop. In order for people to save their jobs they work off the clock, which gives the management that the job is getting done. On my 90th day, after getting nothing but stellar bi-weekly reviews from the previous manager, the current manager told me I "wasn't a good fit" and sent me down the road. Ya think it had to do with the fact that this 26 year old female might have been intimidated by the 53 year old male? Only speculation, but she lied through her teeth! Good luck if you decided to work for these modern day Scrooges!

The whole place is nuts!
A copy of Email to Weinstein Properties:
I've been here for a while. When I researched this place from out of state, you're portrait of yourself was a nice, drug free, crime free place...A place who charges a fee to check the background of anyone applying.
I've been here for almost two years...And I can tell you, you have not done your job! This is a high priced, drug rink...the whole place is nuts...shootings, beatings, robberies, and break ins...In my back yard, or next door...Trust me when I say...I can't wait to give notice!
I have friends in several of you properties.
And NONE of them would recommend you...The Schools are bad. Really bad. Bad to the point a kid can't make it through his freshman year without getting peppered at least twice, just because he's in the vicinity of a fight!
My kid was an honor student. A kid who minds his own damn business. Only concerned about his grades and becoming a marine biologist...he was after his advanced diploma!
We have 4 months left...I hope he makes it through! He hates every day...and I'll be damned if I let him sit out there at a bus stop, like a duck in a shooting range...
Weinstein properties in the Hampton, Newport News area...is a lie...all you have to say about schools, and properties, is a lie...do some research!
You're Motto should sound more like...If you can pay, we'll find a way to let ya in...If for only a month!
If you have a kid that has the slightest interest in school...this is not your place!
Signed,
Mother of a hopeful student.

Piece of crap. They let about 15 illegals move into 2 townhouses next door to us at Springfield East West & Commons. There were cockroaches when we first moved in that had to be treated twice. The carpet was stained and smelly (like dead animal or urine stench) when we moved in and they are trying to make us pay to replace it!
