I have coupons received from work for Whataburger. The one I used today was for a ""free" whataburger with purchase of a #1 . We paced the order along with a Jr. burger and 2 drinks. When we arrive home we only have the # 1 and Jr. Burger. I contacted the establishment and I am told by the manager that the next time I am there they will honor the whataburger. I explained I will be back but the food I had ordered and received was already cold and would even be more so once I drove across town. I go back and order the #1 again and free burger costing me another $7 and some odd cents. This did not include the drink. So basically I saved nothing and feel this was just another way for corporate America to screw the public into thinking you are getting a bargain. I am so disappointed in the way this was handled and will not fall for this type of fraudulent advertising from whataburger again. Shame on you business owner. The manager's name was Richard Reyes and should have been trained better in management. Thank you for reading this if you actually are concerned enough to get to this end.
I am 65 years old and this is not the first time this has happened at the same establishment and each time I come back for correction it costs me more money. Thank you for your curt reply. No mistake here! I see what happens when the establishment sells to a big conglomerate. I have owned and operated several businesses in the US and it appalls me to see such disrespectful customer service techniques.
Little girl, you do realise that this is human error, not fraudulent advertising right? They made a mistake, offered to correct it. No issue here.
you didn't have to buy another meal to get the burger they had missed..
sounds like it was a simple mistake, like the order taker just didn't put in the free burger..
as to the location, it's owned by a company that has only about 7 or 8 locations..
