I built a new home last year and purchased all whirlpool products for my home. Products include washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven/stove and refrigerator. I initially had issues with my refrigerator which asi was able to resolve. However they have been out here multiple times because of a very disturbing noise that continues to occur no matter what they do. I continue to call and report this issue but the man that comes out every time can not resolve this situation. I am coming to you because I am very unhappy with the appliances I have purchased with whirlpool speaking specifically about refrigerator, washer (shakes and is so loud when on the spin cycle) and the dryer. I would like this dryer replaced or whirlpool to come and repair and not send asi appliance here for the 5th time without resolution or diagnoses. I would greatly like to resolve this problem. On April 16, 2018 I purchased 4 Whirlpool major appliances all of which are registered with you. On September 14, 2020 the microwave stopped working so I used your website to troubleshoot. Called a service technician ($129) to evaluate and he told me I needed a new magnetron, which would cost $400 to repair. I purchased Whirlpool because I am from Michigan and trusted your brand. I purchased extended warranty on other appliances that day, but not on the microwave - I have never had an issue with a microwave. Long story short, I originally paid $199.55. The replacement was $322.05 plus $109.25 installation. I did purchase a 5 year extended warranty on the replacement. With service call, purchase and installation my expense was $560. I know the product was outside of the 1 year warranty, but based upon reviews and info shared from the service tech, this issue is very common. Perhaps your supplier, LG needs to provide parts that are up to standard of the Whirlpool parts. I am hopeful you will do the right thing and at least reimburse me some of the $560 I just spent to replace my April 26, 2018 purchased microwave. Even more concerning, the replacement part is so expensive causing consumers to replace instead of repair and trashing a perfectly otherwise functional appliance.

I bought a dryer at the end of April from Lowes in Los Lunas. It was the same dryer that I had and really liked. I have had problems with it over heating. We are having to replace parts. 5 months and it started having problems. I have been using the air dry.. does not stop moves to the next cycle. It was so hot i could not touch the door

We purchased a brand new Whirlpool washer and dryer from Lowes in Wilmington, NC on 08/02/20, it was delivered on 08/11/20. On 09/25/20 the washing machine digital screen went blank and I cannot press any buttons to wash clothing. We contacted Lowes, because we were 13 days out from the "Lowes guarantee" warranty we were told to contact Whirlpool. We were informed by Whirlpool that the parts to fix our brand new washer will not be in for many weeks, possibly late November! This is completely unacceptable, we keep asking Whirlpool for a replacement but they refuse. We contacted Lowes again and they said they cant replace it unless they get authorization from Whirlpool.

This is very sad, two large corporations that cant back their product and I cant do laundry for months.

Our refrigerator stopped working on August 4 call the Whirlpool Corporation they had a certified technician come out he thought it was the compressor and the tubing he then replace the compressor and fix the tubing two weeks later it failed again the technician came out so the tubing had a leak pressure was not working replace the compressor after that the compressor went again he then said the tubing was contaminated we came out to replace the compressor condenser and evaporator he said the tubing was contaminated he blew it out the best he could but was able to completely unclog it the refrigerant

we bought a 5 burned whirlpool stove from crabtree in Russellville ky. 2 days ago I was making breakfast and had the oven on for about 30 min and front left burner and right burner on the griddle. I went to turn the knob and my finger touched the panel and blistered my finger. My daughter touched the panel and hollered because thankfully it didn't blister her like it did me. I called crabtree and told me to call whirlpool because they as in whirlpool wouldn't answer there calls. I called and then crabtree called me back because the service man knew this stove was dangerous and caused burns. But still sold it to our family knowing we have 5 kids. This stovw will cause serious bodily injuries. I've read many reviews on this product it needs to be recalled. Model number WFG505MOBS3 ser ve95043953

I bought a Kitchenaide dishwasher in January and just had to replace the wash assembly motor. The tech who installed the replacement told me he replaces these all the time, on new machines. I was also told by the service company that the motor does not come with its own one year warranty.

I purchased a "commercial grade' front loader maytag washer, you know the commercial about the lonely repairman?, well, he isn't so lonely... I have had this washer 20 months, and it's no longer working... The"10 year warrantee, was only on 2 parts that do not normally go bad/need work, not the whole washer, in the "fine print". So the one year manufacture warrantee is expired, I have a repairman who is from service co required by whirlpool/maytag come out. I explained when requesting service, it had no power/wouldn't come on. I checked power to the washer and it was fine. The repairman arrives, looks at it, other than removing back, nothing else, he said cant do diagnostic since will have to replace the board/and or control panel. Charged me 106 for service call... Estimate to replace parts/service and labor - $700, more than I paid for the whole washer. Whatever happened to a company backing its products for more than a year? Especially when its "commercial grade, 10 year warrantied on advertising" and company name supposed to mean dependable and long lasting? And what's the idea of have to replace major electronic parts just to diagnose? Apparently that is the problem and they should have had the parts available on arrival (and at better cost) never going to buy whirlpool again. It appears the companies today are definitely not environmentally conscious, making throw away items like this. If they aren't throwaway why make replacements parts so expensive? And in the current covid crisis with people out of work, loss income, ridiculo

The ice maker is defective or poorly designed. It grinds the ice cubes, (we DO NOT use crushed ice) and the cube chute drops the grindings on the back edge and behind the glass, cup or mug we are using, making a mess on the edge of the glass and drip tray.

Grindings also build up under the cube container making it difficult to remove unless we clean under it regularly. Which creats another mess !

Grindings also collect on the arm that checks the cube level and cause it to stop making cubes.

We really like the rest of the refidgerater, just the ice maker is a pain !

Purchased whirlpool stove, microwave, dishwasher september 2018 from lowes. Had trouble with dishwasher and stove right after install, no problem with microwave yet. Stove handle broke, dishwasher has not work right since we had it, service was called twice in the first year. Thats not good business just want to get it fixed. It should last a lot longer than 2 years.

Do not purchase whirlpool water heaters. These are literally junk. Second purchase, should have known better. First one started leaking after 7 years and now the second one has reached the magical 7 and started leaking too. Warranty is 6 years so your marketing, manufacturing and sales have it figured out. I will not purchase another whirlpool product as this is ridiculous.

Unbalanced and ruined garments within 2 weeks.

I always buy Whirlpool appliances. Less than a month ago I purchased a new washer. The agitator does not sit even to the base of the drum. I can run my fingers around the base of the agitator and in some places I can't fit my fingers underneath, whereas in other places I can fit half the length of my fingers between the bottom of the agitator and the base of the drum. Two of my garments have been ruined. I had washed these garments in my old Whirlpool and never had any issues. Also, while washing 2 small, lightweight bathmats, the washer became unbalanced and thumped, rattled and jumped across the floor, scraping the floor. The sound was so loud and scary, like a helicopter in my basement. Again, I washed these same bathmats in my previous washer and never had any issues. I purchased this washer from Lowes.com and it was professionally installed. I hope someone can help me, but it is almost impossible to get through to anyone at Lowe's. It was a 45 minute wait time when I called and then I was transfered to another department where my call was sent directly to voicemail.

Do not recommend platinum factory services out of bellaire oh. Whirlpool needs to stop contracting with this company. They discriminated against me because im a health care worker & have horrendous reviews from multiple people. This service company refused to come to my house because of where I work. They canceled on me one time and told me that I would need to take 2 weeks off of work prior to them providing service. When I called whirlpool again regarding my faulty stove they set up another service appointment with this company (which I have the confirmation). I took a vacation day from work and called them the day of service and they claimed that they never received the work order. Now they are saying that they refuse to come. Absolutely unacceptable. I would like them to pay me for the vacation day that I burned due to their discriminatory practices & I would like whirlpool to think about who they contract service with as it reflects poorly on them as a company as well.

I have a whirlpool stand up freezer, side by side refrigerator, duet washer/drier set.
I have a maytag dishwasher.
My freezer needed a new gasket, otherwise it works fine. I called the local authorized dealership. Steve's maytag appliance center. They refused to service the freezer because they did not sell it to us. (gee they told us at the time they couldn't get the model we were looking for)

I just bought a new stand up freezer. It is not a whirlpool or maytag. As the other appliances start to fail, they will be replaced by any other company than maytag/whirlpool.

Purchased WP refrigerator in 2012. Ice maker broke shortly after having, then compressor went out, had to be replaced. Since replacement the refrigerator knock constantly when the compressor is running. Bought 5 year extended warranty, Solor Appliance came out at least 5 times, could not fix. Warranty is expired, still have knocking refrigerator. Would not buy again, would not recommend. Will stay away from Whirlpool. This was not a cheap refrigerator, purchased from A-1 Appliance, Covington, LA, no help from them. Try to support local company, bad move. Next appliance will come from Lowe's or Home Depot. they fix/replace no questions asked!

I bought a whirlpool dishwasher 6 months ago. It has leaked 2 different times. They replaced the same part now twice and the second time they refused to install it. So I don't even know it will leak again or not. It is sitting in my garage now. Hopefully someone will reach out to me from here and resolve the problem. If not I will post again or never buy whirlpool again.

Purchased this French door refrigerator on June 28, 2018 and it was delivered in early July 2018. Several months ago (January 2020) the ice maker quit working. The 1 year warranty is over and I'm stuck with a refrigerator that can't make ice. This was an expensive purchase, $2126.79 plus tax for a young couple just starting out and a newborn. I called both Lowes (place of purchase) and whirlpool and neither place was willing to rectify my problem. I would think that the parts used to make ice would last longer than 18 months but in my case something failed. We really like this refrigerator and hope that whirlpool can rectify our problem.

Purchased a 40 Gal Tall Natural Gas Tank on March 16, 2016. The Hot Water Tank came with a 6 Yr Tank / Part warranty.
On Saturday March 28th 2020 the Hot Water Tank developed a significant water leak - dripping at the bottom of the unit. After verifying none of the water connection lines were leaking that only left the tank itself as the possible source. I contacted Lowes place of purchase they instructed me to contact Whirlpool direct at the number on the tank...However, was told they didn't expect them to be open during the weekend, especially during this Coronavirus situation...That said, I purchased a new tank and replaced the faulty Whirlpool Hot Water Tank as my family could not go without Hot Water...
I contacted Whirlpool Monday March 30th 2020 regarding the warranty. After verifying the Hot Water Tank was still under warranty I was ask to get in front of the Hot Water Tank to conduct a Leak Test. I explained that I had already removed the Hot Water Tank and then was told unless I was willing to reinstalled it for this check there was nothing that could be done from a warranty perspective...
You would think that Whirlpool include this little detail on the same sticker that they provide the number on...Of course they don't...
That said, my family has been a dedicated Whirlpool customer for as long as I can remember but that tradition ends today...
My father could not believe how this ended given his years of experience with Whirlpool...

I purchased a whirlpool washer /dryer in 2017 and last summer noticed the washer was starting to rust on the front panel. I had purchased a 5 year additional warranty on the product but neither Lowes nor Whirlpool say that the rust is covered by the extended warranty. Now I'm told that I have to pay someone to come look at the rust and pay to have it repaired. Considering the product was 2yrs after purchase when the rust started I find it hard to believe that is acceptable for any indoor appliance.

I think that Whirlpool should either pay to repair the appliance or provide a replacement part for installation.

The door of our microwave is cracked in two places, one crack goes all the way through the plastic. The microwave is an over the range microwave. I worry that pieces will fall off and damage the range below. Also, the door is biscuit colored and difficult to find. We had this same problem with our last whirlpool microwave, and replaced it; hoping that the company had corrected this design flaw; but this diir is more damaged than our old one.
