aqualift self cleaning
This is the worst self cleaning system I've ever used. I followed the instructions and do not let the oven get dirty. I used the oven to bake over Thanksgiving and there was spillage. I ran the Aqualift procedure 4 times with no results. I then was told by a rep on a chat line at Maytag to use Affresh. This isn't working either, so now I have a very stained...

I need your help with the following situation.
I purchased from Home Depot over $6000 dollars of Kitchen appliances (Double Ovens, Dishwasher, Cooktop, Range Hood, Microwave, Trash Compacter). Every is working well with the exception of the range-hood. We had the Whirlpool Service come out and look at the range-hood. It was determined it needed a new part. zPer the instructions I made another appointment to have the part installed. I took off from work the day the appointment was. In the middle of the day I recieved a phone call from Whirlpool saying the service call was being cancelled because the part did not come in yet. We were then told to make another appointment which we did two weeks later. The day before I got a call confirming the service call. I again took off from work. Once again in the afternoon I recieved a call from Whirlpool saying the part did not come in and they need to reschedule the appointment. Then they put me on hold for over 20 minutes and came back saying the part was not available. They told me to call Whirlpool customer service. I made the call and was told just the opposite that the part was available and that we then rescheduled another appointment to fix the range-hood. Once again I took off from work. To my surprise I again was called while I was waiting for the Range-Hood to be fix that the part was not available and the service appointment was going to be canceled. two weeks ago I then got a call from Whirlpool saying because the part was not available that the Range-Hood will now be replace. I have during this difficult process taken off work 3 times and now will take off work one more time as the unit will now finally be replaced? I am asking for $500 dollars off compensation for all the trouble Whirlpool has caused me with incorrect information which resulted in me taking off work. Honestly this has been a terrible experience and me writing you this recap does not even convey all the hassle as well as wait times on hold and needing to miss work multiple times that I have gone through. I value your products and have purchased numerous appliances for my kids homes and my office over the last few years. This issue is just not right to put me through all this trouble with out compensation. Please let me know what I can get Whirlpool to compensate me for all the problems your company created on this issue. I appreciate your help.

The company have removed the safety feature which prevent the refrigerator from Rolling. The Company indicated it consumer responsibility to fix this problem. This could be a major danger too small kids when they open the refrigerator it will roll about feet. Safety should be our concern when incorporating new features and safey our kid's should not only be Family concern, our manufacturer as well.

2 weeks ago, the interior glass of the oven door suddenly blowed. We have realized it by the sound of our little son (2 years old) who was near the oven. He just opened the door and it suddenly blowed. He was not holding any material, so he didnt hit or knocked on the glass. Fortunately he couldnt get any damage by glass particles which have spreaded around.
I complaint that, while I was expecting excuses from the service guy, they want to charge the changing of glass (with complete door) to me as 98 euro + labor cost.
If my son would have injured seriously (it was the case) from that blow, who could be account for the injury? Please I ask a compensation for this trouble.

i purchased the Whirlpool refrigerator model# WRX735SDBM00 from Lowe's on June 16, 2015, and the extended warranty from Lowe's. I have had nothing but problems from day one with the ice maker, control panel on the front, ice dispenser on the outside of the refrigerator, the dispenser lights, the calibrate measured fill, and several more things. i could go on and on. From day one we have had nothing but problems to the point to where the appliance repair company didn't know what else to do to fix it. The last time the appliance repair company was out he said "i don't know what else to do to fix all the problems you are having with this refrigerator, I think Lowe's should just replace your refrigerator." All of these issues have been going on for 3 years now. I think just about everything that we have had problems with has been replaced more than once and it still has not fixed it. i know for sure the complete ice maker and storage bin has been replaced 3 times. Well Lowe's does not want to replace it and so now i'm stuck with a refrigerator that does not work properly. My food is spoiling because it does not cool properly and we are having to buy bag ice because you cannot depend on the ice maker. the lights on the control panel pretty much do there own thing. i will never buy appliances from Lowe's again and always tell everyone I know not to purchase appliances from Lowe's or buy their extended warranty.

I bought the whirlpool washing machine on 02/04/2018 from Crown Mines Makro invoice number 561. It sometimes doesnt wash clothes properly, at times it logs in water & gives an E1 message. I took the washing machine back to SA since am based in Zim but the lady at Crown Mines was rude to the person I sent it with & totaly refused to book it in for maintenence team to look at. Whirlpool corporation is one of the worst company I'm dealing with, we bought a new home and had new whirlpool appliance incorectly installed in sept 2018, I raised a ticket in Oct 2018 for my dishwasher which doesn't open properly, flamingo services in Atlanta came and unplugged dishwasher saying it's not installed properly, I wait for more than 30 days for parts to arrive and my dishwasher to be fixed, called whirlpool / flamingo both don't give confirmation as to when the parts will arrive(note they haven't been shipped by distributor)wow seriously?, pls I'm already facing inconvenience since more than month on a brand New appliance, they say no compensation no replacement only I will have to wait indefinite time for dishwasher to be shipped and repaired. So much of inconvenience and customer service says she will not call me back and I will have to follow up ? What service is this, infinite wait ? Whirlpool aqualift stove

My Name is Amanda Kennedy, I purchased your product Aqua lift Stove on July this year 2018, This was promoted from one of your sales reps Gord, At Rona on Springfield Rd Kelowna BC, Canada, he proceeded to tell us how wonderful this function was and explained how it worked.
For years we have purchased your products with no problems till now. within a short time I called the call center for advice on how to clean the stove, as this is the problem area, I also followed the instruction to a tee, repeating the aqua lift function 4 times in a row, due to it not being clean and also after each time we use the stove it was used to keep up with any build up.
There was a Appliance repair company came by, Anderson's appliances and stated that the oven was operating the way it should as it reached the temperature of 200c it works but doesn't clean?, I set for and hour using pot scrubber you sent with stove and cleaning product for top of stove glass, I used inside oven as per instructed from the advice from call center.
I did explain to a manager and she was not very understanding and said it works and there is nothing can be done, Please see attachments for results of my oven after a repeat cleaning cycle and scrubbing, So this the reason I am writing this letter today to see what can be done, I know I will be asked this question, so I am saving time to put it out there, I would like an exchange or refund, if this would be considered.

I broke one of my oven doors on June 29th, 2018 and ordered a replacement glass on-line after consulting the on- line parts list for the above noted model. The replacement glass (price - 117.38)arrived the day before I began an extended vacation. I arrived home in early October and proceeded to replace the oven glass when much to my dismay, I discovered the glass was too large. I consulted a glass repair franchise but was informed that, due to the materials contained in the glass, the glass could not be cut. I then called the Parts Department of your company and re-ordered the part after speaking with a company representative and explaining the problem. I was told that I had exceeded the thirty day return policy and could not return the original glass. The new glass (price 115.69) was ordered. The glass was received( this time the proper size) and I have completed the repair.
I now have a glass (117.38 dollars) which is absolutely of no good to me. I have a huge concern that the on-line parts list is inaccurate and I am concerned that I, as a consumer, is being penalized for a company error. I wish to return the glass and receive a full refund of 117.38 as the problem encountered was not mine. My only error was relying on the accuracy of your list as I knew in June that I would not be returning the glass as the oven had to be repaired!

We have had three service calls to fix the refrigerator, a fourth call scheduled for 11/10/18 was cancelled for no apparent reason (? by whom) without notifying us, so we were home waiting for a service person who was not going to appear. This is outrageous, and totally unacceptable.
The fourth call has now been rescheduled for Tuesday Nov. 13.
The refrigerator fails to maintain cold temperature, and the freezer fails to freeze its content.
Call #1 was made 8/9/18, scheduled for 8/16/18, technician replaced the compressor. This worked for 2 months.
Call #2 was made 10/18/18, scheduled for 10/22/18, tech replaced the filter. This worked for two days.
Call #3 was made 10/25/18, scheduled for 10/31/18, tech replaced a leaky valve. This worked for a week
Call #4 was made 11/7/18, scheduled for 11/10/18 but was cancelled for reasons unknown to us.
Call #5 was made 11/10/18, scheduled for 11/13/18.
Now it is well over 4 weeks and 4 service calls without a proper functioning refrigerator. Although we have been reimbursed $250 for loss of perishable food, the financial loss has been much greater over the period of these episodes, as every time we restock the fridge thinking it has been fixed.
We trust you understand our predicament and will move swiftly to rectify the situation : Repair the refrigerator to function right, or if unable to repair, exchange or buyout the product as stated in the Service Contract.
Whirlpool has a reputation for good customer service, and we would not like to see this image tarnished in the public sphere.

11/20/18 : Called AIG at [protected] and scheduled a service call for 11/26/18 with local appliance repair Co. "Douglass Appliance Center". They will come out to assess the refrigerator and determine what parts are needed.
11/19/18 Tech Cesar again did not show, and did not call to cancel, so again we waited for a no-show, and still no service on the refrigerator. We called Karen at Whirlpool service at [protected] and were re-sheduled for 11/29/18, which is 4 weeks from the last service call on 10/31/18. Scheduler stated that our region has only one service tech assigned, and if he is out sick, there is no backup.
Tech Cesar called to re-schedule todays service call to Monday 11/19/18 as parts had to be delivered. That is Thanksgiving week, and it would be nice to have a working refrigerator for the holiday.
I just received a phone call re-scheduling the 11/13/18 call for the following day 11/14/18.
No further comments to add to what has already been said.

Tech has not called to schedule a time for the service call for tomorrow.
Tech is supposed to call today to schedule a time for the service call. We have not heard from him yet, and are concerned he will not show up, as before. This is quite outrageous and unacceptable.

Delivery of ordered refrigerator
We ordered a Whirlpool refrigerator on Sept. 16 2018 from a local Lowes store, were told store delivery would be 10-12-18. We received a call around that date and were told maybe the end of Oct. Got a call on Nov. 2nd and were told it could maybe be in store on the 5th of Nov. Do we need to buy a refrigerator to keep our food from spoiling while waiting for the one we ordered. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed with this process so far, and we believe this problem is completely Whirlpool's fault. We believe Steve at the Lowes store is doing all that he can to try to satisfy his customer.

I purchased a range from Home Depot and it was delivered on7/26/18, when the delivery guys opened the box there was a large dent on the side. I was going to refuse delivery and he insisted Whirlpool would offer me a 75.00 credit, so I kept it. On 8/4/18 I called customer service and was told by Melissa they would process the claim and it would take up to 8 weeks. I called back In 8 weeks on 9/20 and was told they were behind and it would be another 8 weeks. I called back today after 6 weeks and was told by Krista there was never a claim filed and no record of a call but she could see on home depo web site the damage report and would file a claim. and now another 8 weeks.! why when I called the other 2 times they didn't look on Home Depo web site and take care of it? Kirsta said it might be too late to file a claim, but she would put it in! I have been Lied to 3 times by Whirlpool Customer service, I Hate my range, I hate the dent and I Will Never purchase a Whirlpool product again. I am telling my everyone I know about the poor customer service from you.

fridge has to much suction on the doors
My new fridge is extremely hard to open. The technician that was sent out told me that there is too much suction building up inside the fridge and freeze and that is why it has to be yanked to open. This is not only annoying it means the fridge is constantly being pulled forward out of place.
Technician's solution was to deactive the castors under the fridge. At the time he was here I did not realize that I could then no longer move the fridge out of its place to clean. I called Whirlpool and complained and was told that they could do nothing more for me because "the fridge is in good working order" I hardly woud call this "good working order" They also informed me that if I wished to clean under the fridge or the coils at the back it would require a service call to move the fridge and I WOULD BE CHARGED EACH TIME.
Needless to say I AM VERY, VERY UNAHPPY WITH THE WHOLE SITUATION.

I purchased a new washer in April of 2017. It broke completely down just a few months after the 1 year warranty ended. It was a cheaply made product. Should of lasted a lot longer considering what I paid for it. I believe its manufactured with cheap parts to increase the company's sales. They want people to replace their machines every year, they used to build machines that would last 20 years. Never trusting the whirlpool brand again.

dishwasher failed twice within one year!
Greetings from WA State. I have owned 7 dishwashers in my life and none gave me any trouble except my Whirpool (Model above).
Two major components have failed within one year. Please understand I am familiar with the operation of dishwashers and their components since 1955 when I helped my father install our first KitchenAid. In fact, I never had a dishwasher fail me in my whole life.
The service and repairs on my dishwasher are unacceptable after such a short time. I know how to load it and take care of it. Of course I could fix it myself, but I think the impeller has failed.
I think Whirpool owes me some compensation for this very poorly built model. It doesn't dry the dishes completely, and the horsepower is so low it takes 90 minutes to do a standard load. (It is quiet, this I will admit).
How about I buy a NEW dishwasher and Whirpool issues a voucher for say 50% off. Sound fair? Remember, I have paid out more than $200 in repair fees since I purchased the dishwasher. For the total price I could have purchased a more reliable dishwasher such as a Bosch or Sears Kenmore.

I have purchased Kitchenaid fridge last year from the "Brick" Store. I have also purchased extended warranty on the fridge. Our fridge is currently broken. The technician came to fix the fridge, he said he need to change the compressor and need to order the parts. It has been already more than 2 weeks, we don't have a fridge at home. Our day to day life became miserable without fridge. We have kids at home and their medicines goes in the fridge.
We can't store any food. Need to buy groceries everyday.
I have called whirlpool Canada regrading this. They are saying the required part that the technician ordered is in back order. There is no ETA .

I just spent an amazing amount of time listening to a fellow type I believe with only one finger and one letter every minute as he recorded my warrenty issue.
I spent $16000+ two months ago on all whirlpool applicances and have never had service like that
I had to twice ask if he was even still on the phone with me... He may have been having his lunch by the sounds of it as well

Brought a Maytag/Whirlpool refrigerator from Home Depot in December 2015 (no expended warranty purchased at the time); The Fridge stopped cooling in less than 3 years; Called Whirlpool to complain so that I could get a replacement fridge. Spoke to several agents from the Tennessee location who continued to place me on hold for extremely long periods of time (30-45 minutes each time).
Ultimately, I agreed to pay for the replacement Fridge as part of the Whirlpool Customer retention program with a small discount. Waited 2 weeks for the delivery of the new fridge. When the fridge arrived the driver from the trucking company JD Hunt explained that they were not allowed to bring the fridge up a flight of stairs into the condo unit. They never took the fridge off of the truck.
When I called Whirlpool to complain and request my money back, the agent Cathy over talked me, chucked at me and told me that the supervisor "refused to help me" and that there was no customer complaint line to call. Cathy was rude & condescending to me as a customer. Also told me that I has to wait 7-10 business days for a refund of my money. I am insisting that Whirlpool refund my money ASAP. The worst customer service I have ever experienced as a consumer.
Hello, The Inside Pass Team is the group that is treating me this awful way. I am just looking for some justice, and seem to continue to get the run around. The customer service agent Cathy was extremely rude, condescending and even refused to let me speak to a supervisor. I can't imagine a company like Whirlpool/Maytag would allow their customer to be treated this way. If there is a number that I can speak to a actual supervisor that is willing to assist me I would be grateful. I am not comfortable calling the customer service line again, just to be treated like I don't matter, or no one cares. Thank you.

french door stainless steel refrigerator / model # wrf535smhz
On November 25, 2016, I purchase a Whirlpool French Door Stainless Steel Refrigerator (Model # WRF535SMHZ) @ Lowes. No complaints so far until recently I noticed the french doors are not sealing properly, which created frost inside the refrigerator and the motor has started to make loud noises. I started a chat with Customer Service and unfortunately, that did not end well because I was told the unit was outside of warranty and now I'm stuck with a broken down refrigerator. In addition, I have notice rust around the stainless steel, when I have never used any cleaners that would damage the outside of the refrigerator.
I'm requesting repairs or exchange current unit. It is really frustrating and stressful how I have to waste food because of the refrigerator breaking down after 2yrs. My household is not high traffic, so there are minimal opening and closing of the unit.
Why Whirlpool products are made of poor quality?
