I was really hoping to find a decent wig, so I decided to give Wigsbuy a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big mistake. I started by sending them some emails asking for a picture of the actual wig, since all the pictures on their website are of real people with their own hair. But I didn't get any response, even though they said they would reply within a certain time frame. I waited a few days and then wrote again, but still no reply. I started to feel like something was fishy, and wondered if they were connected to Wigsway, which also seemed odd to me.
In the end, I decided to buy a cheap wig in a very light blonde color (#613), even though I had a feeling that something was off. I paid through Paypal, but still didn't hear anything from them. I had to write to Paypal to get a reply, and it took two months for my 3/4 wig piece to arrive. But when it did, I was really disappointed. The color was not blonde at all, but some kind of muddy brownish color. I really think that Wigsbuy and Wigsway are the same place, or at least connected in some way. They both sell crappy wigs, and in my case, the color was completely wrong. This company, WigsBuy, is a total scam! I ordered a Remy human capless wig from them back in November, and when it arrived, it was nothing like the picture they showed on their website. The wig was shorter, much thinner, and not Remy hair. It was not capless and had a fixed part. I was so disappointed because it looked nothing like the wig they pictured and that I relied on when ordering it.
When I tried to dispute the order on their website, it said that my order could not be disputed, and no reason was given. So, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, and shortly after, I received an email from WigsBuy telling me to send the item back to them at MY expense. The postage would be over $40, which is a lot of money for me since I am disabled and on a fixed income. I am happy to send the wig back to them, but I do not want to pay for it. It's not what I was told I would be getting, and it's not what I ordered.
According to US consumer law, if you are sent a product you did not order, a defective item, or a wrong item, the merchant, not the consumer, is responsible for paying return postage. For WigsBuy, this should be quite simple. All they have to do is notify the shipper (DSL) to pick the item up. It's called a call tag. However, they refused to pay for return shipping, insisting that it was my responsibility to pay for it. This is not fair, and it's not right.
To make matters worse, in one email from WigsBuy, they told me to state the value of the wig as under $45 when I return it. This is mail fraud, and it's illegal. If the wig were to be lost in the post, the most I would be reimbursed is $45, not the $174.68 purchase price. I responded that I was happy to return it, but since it was the wrong item or grossly misrepresented, it was their responsibility to pay for return shipping. They could notify their shipper to pick it up.
WigsBuy contested my dispute, saying that I did not return the wig, but they never mentioned that they refused to pay for shipping. This is so deceptive and dishonest. I am now continuing the dispute further by sending pictures and copies of emails from WigsBuy to my credit card company. I am confident that they will see how deceptive WigsBuy is and refund my money in full.

This company, WigsBuy, is a real piece of work. I ordered some items from them and was sorely disappointed with the quality. The photos on their website looked nothing like what I received. Wigsbuy is an online store that claims to have the best wigs, but there's nowhere to read reviews! I got scammed by this business and it was a total nightmare! Their wigs were more expensive than the ones I've tried before. I thought that if they cost more, they must be better. But that was not the case! The wig took forever to arrive. It was coming from China, so it was no surprise that it took so long. When I finally got it, it looked nothing like the picture! It had no part whatsoever! It was impossible to put on, it just hung in your face! Customer service was terrible too! I bought it through PayPal, so PayPal was involved in trying to solve the dispute. But I had to contact the merchant first. They never replied to any of my emails! They used a different name on my PayPal receipt and I never got a receipt from Wigsbuy at all! I ended up having to send this wig back to China, and the address was crazy! It took forever and they never let me know if they received it or not! I only got a partial refund. This place needs to be shut down! If I could have left 0 stars, I would have! Please put this place out of business! It is 100% a scam! The wig looked like something you would get from a gag shop for Halloween! I made the mistake of buying before reading the reviews, and now there are no reviews to read at all! I had to Google this business to leave this review, which most people won't do, allowing them to sell more of these crappy wigs!

Warning: Terrible Experience with WigsBuy - A Chinese Scam Disguised as an American Website
I'm writing this review to warn people about the terrible experience I had with WigsBuy. I was in need of a wig due to my cancer treatment, so I decided to order from this website. Little did I know, it would be a complete waste of my time and money.
First of all, I spent $210 on my order, which took a whopping 3 months to arrive. I had to email the company multiple times and even spent hundreds of dollars calling their customer service in Xiang, China. I was under the impression that this was an American website, but the customer service representatives could hardly speak English.
When my order finally arrived, it was the wrong product. Not only that, but the quality was absolutely terrible. It looked like something you would find at a junk store. I was supposed to receive a wig made of real human hair, but instead, I received what appeared to be a cheap party wig that a clown would wear.
I tried to complain numerous times via email and phone, but my messages were ignored. I am currently waiting for PayPal to refund my money, but the stress, time, and worry I had to go through were not worth it.
I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this fake website. It's a Chinese scam that tries to deceive you into thinking it's an American website. The photos they use are stolen from other online sellers, and the positive reviews you see on their website are most likely written by their own staff. It's all misleading and deceptive conduct, and they get away with it because they're based in China.
In conclusion, stay away from WigsBuy. Don't make the same mistake I did.

$347.02. Unfortunately, did not write down the confirmation number as was expecting a confirmation e-mail which I never received. Always have in the past.

They advertise 100% satisfaction guarantee, send you a poor quality wig, refuse to honor the return policy without fighting with them, and then send you return instructions which violate Federal customs laws. They ask you to return the items as "gifts or samples" and to underreport the value of the item - and this is in writing! So you are required to break the law in order to return items to them. I've reported them for customs violations but they should not be allowed to do business in the US.

Wigs of poor quality
I bought 2 wigs in June 2021 from them on-line. When they arrived, they were not what was pictured on social media. They were hair sewn on a cap without any lace, etc.
When I asked for a refund, only then did I discover I was dealing with an Asian company in an Asian country somewhere. They made all kinds of promises to return a portion of my money ( which I accepted cause I knew the return to them would be even more stupid!
As of 3/ 11/ 22 and numerous email correspondence to string me along, I still haven't received a partial refund.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund. I want to warn any other potential customers who did their due diligence about the company (unlike myself) to not make a purchase. You will not get what you see they are advertising.

My credit card was fraudulently used to purchase, I don't know what, and when I contacted WIGSBUY's "Client Services" for information all I got was the proverbial "run-a-round." They are useless. I would have given them a minus star if it was available. Do not deal with this company if you value your credit information because it is not safe.

I purchased a few wigs from Wigsbuy. It took 6 weeks to receive and the wigs look HORRIBLE. The color is no where near the photos, two of the wigs were supposed to be the same color (H4/27), and those two were different shades of an icky light brown color. The cap construction was defective as it was pointy at the crown and the style of each wig in no way, shape or form resembled what I ordered. I emailed the copy and have never received a response. I have purchased $20 Amazon wigs that were 1000x better in color, style and quality than the wigs from Wigsbuy. This company is a scam, a sham and needs to be shut down - false advertising is an understatment.

On January 31, 2021 I purchased 2 wigs, upon receiving the wigs I was totally dissatisfied, very poor quality, looked like dog hair, immediately tried contacting the company, tried calling customer service for days. they never answer their phone. Finally got through to them and they indicated they were having a Valentine's Day sale and someone would get back to me the following week, my concern was there was a time limit on when they could be returned. The total amount for the 2 wigs was $262 dollars, after this purchase was made my credit card was compromised and had to be cancelled which complicated matters more. When they finally got back to me they said they could not give me a full refund even if returned in perfect condition. they offered to give me $40 off my total, I refused, then they offered me $120 off, I refused, then $180 off, again I refused. Finally we agreed to a full refund through PayPal once the wigs were returned to them, they were returned in perfect condition, never worn, still waiting almost a year later, the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.I contacted numerous agencies in hopes that someone could help, no one will, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this unethical company. At this point they got the wigs returned to them and my money, they got it all and continue to get away with it, this company needs to be shut down!
