I read these reviews and was reluctant to order from them. I called and spoke with Marcos who was great! I sent an email with my order number. The response was amazingly quick. He let me know that a color I wanted wasn't in stock and suggested a color which I agreed to. The order shipped the same day and I received it the next day. I had no problems with this company and my customer service experience was outstanding. UPS absolutely sucked but wigtypes.com was great. I will definitely order from them again.

I have placed 7 orders since Sept 2017 and have received all of my packages on time or early and in great condition. I have never had to contact customer service, so I am unable to rate the customer service rep experience. When search the site for a new wig, I review the product reviews if available. The videos are most helpful to actually viewing the wig prior to purchase. The presenter will generally discuss the preparation needed for the wig to fit her liking. I have purchased a total of 50 wigs and I am 98% satisfied with my purchases. The prices are good and the wigs are definitely quality products. Packaging is great too, easy to stack the wigs when being stored.

Listen, I recently had an experience with a hair company online that I gotta share. So, I went on WigTypes (wigtypes.com) to grab me a new wig 'cause ya girl was feeling herself and ready to switch it up. But then I saw something weird - instead of being on a truck in Vegas, it was on a truck in Henderson! Like, what the heck?! For those who don't know, Henderson is barely a 25 minute drive from my place. So, I checked the address on the tracking information and that's when I found the issue.
Get this - WigTypes used my apartment number as part of my street number. Yup, they messed it all up. And this is why my wig was on a truck in the wrong city. I had to call FedEx to get that sorted out. Little did I know, if I hadn't caught onto this error, my package would have been delivered to a non-existent address and sent back to WigTypes. This could be why some of y'all ain't been getting your wigs when you were supposed to, ladies!

The packages were divided in half, I assume, to fit the amount of ordered items. I ended up returning some items to the store, but others were fine. I decided to reorder a few months later. I logged in again to place my order, and I even received a confirmation email. However, when I checked my order status a few days later, it was cancelled. I couldn't believe it! I was confused and frustrated because I wasn't sure why it was cancelled. When I called the customer service, I had to wait on the line for a long time before someone finally picked up. It took a few tries to reach a representative. When I finally did, they told me I was blacklisted because I had made a return in the past. I was utterly shocked! Wigtypes Review: Terrible Customer Service and Delivery Issues
Been buyin stuff from Wigtypes for a hot minute now, and never had an issue until recently. Placed a order, everything seemed chill, got an email sayin my delivery would arrive by Friday. Had to work from home that day cuz I saw the delivery company needed a signature. But, the package never showed up. Next thing I know, the delivery company switched up the address and dropped it off somewhere else! Bruh, WTF! I contacted Wigtypes to sort this out and their reply the next day was less than helpful. They said they couldn't contact the delivery company and that I needed to pick up the package or else it'd be returned and I'd be charged a restocking fee. How the hell am I supposed to pick it up if they didn't even ask me if they could switch up the address?! I gotta say, I'm not quite sure what's going on with WigTypes. I've placed a few orders with them since January of 2014, and three times now my orders have been straight up cancelled and refunded. I don't mind getting my money back, of course, but it's frustrating to be told that the items are out of stock when I know that the website says they're in stock. And sometimes, even after the order has been cancelled, the website still shows the items as being in stock. That's just confusing.
To make matters worse, WigTypes doesn't seem to be good at responding to customer inquiries. Their order confirmation emails are just raw HTML code, which is a really frustrating design choice. I really disliked WigTypes, honestly I would rate them at zero stars if it was possible. Their customer service is terrible, they have messages that automatically respond to you through email that says someone will get back to you within 24 hours, but you never hear a word from them. Ordered on this site and had some issues getting my order shipped to my desired location. I tried gettin' some Xpressions braid hair for my daughter today from WigTypes.Com, but it didn't work out too well. The site said my order was declined 'cause my billing address didn't match my shipping address, but then I saw that they went ahead and charged me twice, $29 each time! How could they take my money if they said the payment was declined? Makes no sense to me. Wish I woulda read some reviews before I went ahead and trusted 'em. Seems like they aren't gonna help me with this mess, so I'm gonna have to take things into my own hands and talk to my bank. Luckily, I got all the proof I need to show my bank that the order was declined, but WigTypes still went ahead and charged me twice! I emailed 'em right away, and I got the screenshot to prove it. If they act like they never got my email, I got the date and time to back me up. So if you're havin' trouble like me, just contact your bank. They'll help out, no problem. Wig/hair extension & service response
After being a long standing customer with this business who have shipped out plenty of bad wigs over the course of about 6 years + I decided not ignore the last 2 shipments and complained about the faulty wigs. Attached is a photo of one of the faulty item shipped from this business. I requested a return and honestly they initially refused and didn't want to provide a returns shipping label. Eventually, after a fuss, they agreed but it ended up with WigTypes.com refusing orders. It is a silly tactic because eventually, they will have no business if they thinking doing that is a solution.
The only solution for WigTypes is to correct their mistakes when it is made and be extra vigilant during the stocking inventory/packaging process. Faulty items should be claimable on their insurance, so why refuse customers returns or request things like restocking fees?!
Desired outcome: For WigTypes to see that refusing business is discrimination and a silly solution that will lose them business.

i ordered this wig yesterday, now usually i get a confirmation email of some sort BUT i didn’t and i noticed way later in the day that i forgot to screenshot the page but it took money off my card… i’m a wig influencer and i’ve been seeing the Dominica wig around and i wanted to give it a try. as well as i have a event i have to attend soon. i’m not sure what’s the issue but if i don’t get the wig i will be taking legal acting for stealing my money.

These people are the worst. They shipped me the wrong wig and I called and they stated that they don't do exchange so I sent it in anyway for a refund and he stated that they would be charging 20% plus I had to pay for shipping separately. They have one male employee working there in he is very rude. I done doing business with wig types. Very disappointed and the manager is no better. Don't do business with these people. I have placed an order for two wigs and right after I paid I decided to read the reviews. I was terrified and decided to cancel my order as soon as possible and contacted Wigtypes support. I received a reply that my order was successfully cancelled and that it'll take about 5 days to process a refund. 5 days later there was no money! I contacted them again and asked if everything was ok and they assured me that everything was ok and asked me not to worry.
That was over 5 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for my money and they stopped replying and I can't reach anyone from customer service! These people lied from them very beginning and everything they said was nothing but scam. I'm so angry at myself! I should have read the reviews earlier!
They had a great sale on the hair but they charged my card twice for the same hair i have been trying to contact them to cancel one of the transactions the number is not a working number its a fax machine there is no live representative to chat with as stated on the site. Im thinking there located over seas and not in NY as stated on the website...STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE...

Do not buy anything from WigTypes website this company is a complete disaster! Ordered wig from them and after I paid I did not received any information regarding my order, there wasn't even a tracking number sent to me!
When I contacted customer service they spoke very rudely and literally blamed me! They said that they've sent all the detail and that it was my problem if I wasn't able to find anything!
These people are terrible! They sent nothing to me and I never ever received the wig! They just stole my money and pretend that they didn't! This place should be shut down!
wrong color wig
I ordered a wig from WigTypes and received the wrong one. It was the same style wig, but it was way darker than I wanted. I contacted customer service and they said that the color I wanted was no longer in stock so they sent me the similar one! Absolutely ridiculous! I can't even describe how angry I was. I do not understand why didn't they contact me and never informed me about that! And now they are refusing to refund me! What a terrible company! Avoid this scam artists at all costs!

I ordered 3 wigs from them & one was severely damaged. It looked as though someone had taken scissors to it. I tried several times to call them but they never answer their phone. There is never a chat operator available even during the times they specify that one will be available. I emailed them and finally got a response asking me to email them the photos I had taken. The email address they supplied has servers that won't even allow you to email photos. I then emailed them a link to the photos and they will not respond to me. Had they tried to resolve the issue I would have been more than happy to purchase from them again as two of the 3 wigs were beautiful. Now I'm just pissed and will not only not be purchasing from them again but I will let me friends and everyone else know not to shop there.

They suck! If I could I would give ZERO star.I placed ONE order with them. And I repeat ONE single order. I ordered about 8 items. Some of the packages only had half of the weaves they were supposed to have. They obviously divided some packages in 2 to fit the amount of ordered items. I returned some of the items to the store. Some of the items were fine, so I decided to reorder a few month later. I logged in and placed my order. I received a confirmation email. When I logged back in a few days later to check the order status, it was cancelled and I was "black listed". So I called them and asked what happened (I had to call at least 3 times before getting someone on the phone). I asked them what happened with the order. They asked me if I made any return in the past, I said yes, and they said that's probably why I was black listed. I was like.. Really? For one order you get black listed? They didn't even sent me an email to let me know. I had to log back in days later to find out.Anyway, good luck if you decide to go ahead and do business with them. They are totally unprofessional and don't know a bit about customer satisfaction.

I ordered two wigs from the website www.wigtypes.com. They charged me immediately, but no info about order. I called them and sent emails, but everything was unsuccessful. Also their phone number on the website was fault, and the only way to reach them was to send tons of emails. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?

WIGTYPES.COM Lacks customer service and FAIL to take responsiblity when they are at fault. ON April 30, 2015, I ordered 5 wigs, One of the wigs was for my mom (motown tress) as part of her Mother's day gift .This particular wig was missing the photo in package to display the style of the hair and there was no square card board that goes inside the plastic container and around the hair for added protection was also not in the package.
"Excerpt from email sent 5/11/15: Firstly, the disappointment in the package, it was missing the original packing photo and not attached like the other four to its original package container. Secondly, The wig looks old as if it was the one removed from the displayed mannequin head and shoved in an available plastic clear package. Third, the wig is a BIG NO! This wig was a part of a gift for my mom on Mother’s day." Vendor responded, stating a 20% restocking fee, no exchange.
I was outraged!. How do you charge me a restocking fee for merchandise not received in acceptable condition.

I have just ordered two wigs from them 3 days ago...which said if you order by 5 est time your item will ship the same day...its three days later and it still hasn't been shipped! Forget trying to contact them because they won't answer the phone and won't return my emails, yet they have no problem accepting your money. At this point and after reading these reviews I should have kept my money.
