Bad work, bad talk, no one takes responsibility. You wanna pay big bucks for that? Not me - but I did, and it was a nightmare. Heads up - if something goes wrong, they'll just make excuses and you'll be stuck feeling mad. Don't bother.

I have two windows that fog up, but none of the others do
I have two windows that fog up, but none of the others do. I've requested a repair twice, but they say it's normal and we have to pay for new ones. They have a lifetime warranty, and I've had the windows for four years. I addressed this problem right away, but they kept patronizing us with excuses. Now I'm tired of this issue and contacted them today, August 11. They gave me the same excuse and will not communicate by phone. They also said we have to pay for new windows.

I called Window World 5 times for warranty service 'cause I got a cracked window. Ain't nobody called me back yet. I mean, seriously, I just wanna know if they ordered the replacement window from the serial number I gave 'em and when it's gonna be delivered. I spent over $8,000 on all new windows and now I can't even get a call back? Makes me wonder if they even have a warranty service.

I had 2 window installs done by Window World of Raleigh. The 2nd install was missing 1 window that was on the order. It's been 6-9 and still no window. 3 sales reps have come out, but still no window yet. Communication with the company is not good. On the same day, 2 reps showed up, 1 scheduled and the other not. They were both confused about who should get credit for the sale of the 1 window. If I hadn't already bought a window from them to match, I definitely wouldn't have spent more money with the company. This window should have been free because of their mistake and the long time it's taking to fix the situation. I wouldn't recommend this company to my friends for windows.

It's been almost a year since I placed the order, and as of 2/16, I'm still missing 2 screens. They charged me the full amount on my credit card, and I've been making payments since October . They missed appointments and the products weren't satisfactory, so I requested a $500 credit. They promised to complete the work in a day, but it's still not done. They also haven't repaired the products as promised. They said they would subtract the credit in October when everything is completed, but I'm frustrated because this is the 4th time I've had to stay home and wait for them to finish the job. I don't think my request is unfair. Thank you.

Window World did my windows and doors on 7/1. They did a good job on most of them, but 2 windows were messed up and they didn't put in screen doors for the sliding glass doors. One of the windows doesn't lock and the other one moves when we close it. We've been trying to get them to fix it, but it's been a hassle. They finally sent someone out on 9/2, but they only fixed one screen door and didn't do anything about the windows. They said someone else would come out, but we haven't heard anything since then. We spent over 12k on this and it's not right that we have to wait so long for it to be fixed.

Installation done with caulk instead of professional procedures. Caulk and residue all over windowsills, cabinets, and table. Crew left cigarette butts in yard and truck in driveway without permission. Found screws in yard and driveway for weeks. Caulked around blinds instead of taking them down. Watering system in front yard unusable and yard flag demolished. $$$ worth of damage and still not corrected by company. No discounts or monetary adjustments offered. Waited months for correct windows and had to clean up damage ourselves.

The trim on the outside of the windows and structure was all crooked and messed up. They didn't fix the broken trim and only put in 14 windows when they charged us for 15. We told them about all the problems, like the one window that was put in wrong and the exterior trim that was broken and covered up. They didn't even put in any interior trim and two of the windows weren't sealed right on the inside. They said they finished the job and charged us for it, but they didn't finish it at all. We told them about all the problems and they sent someone out to fix it, but he didn't do much and the frames are still crooked. We've sent them a bunch of emails and they haven't responded. We even told Wells Fargo about it and offered to show them what was wrong, but Window World still hasn't fixed anything. It's been a while and we haven't heard anything from them.

I been tryin' for 2 years to fix our window problems. We got windows from Window World 'cause they got a lifetime warranty. But we got warranty issues with our windows. The weather strippin' needs replaced on some windows. One tech says they can replace it, another says they can't. One tech came out and replaced 2 windows with weather strippin' and said the rest can be done later. But that never happened. There's a window in our bonus room that's hard to move up and down. Nobody can fix it. One of the owners agreed to replace an upper sash, but the sash was delivered twice and both times it was damaged. The installer said he'd order it a month ago, but I ain't heard nothin'. Weep hole covers are missin' and they said they'd replace 'em, but they keep bringin' the wrong size. Now they say they don't make 'em anymore. Some weather proof seals called bulbs need replaced, but they don't make 'em no more. How can they guarantee a lifetime warranty if they don't make the parts no more?

Window World of Raleigh did not complete my window installation on time and it is still not completed since July . They have not refunded my balance payment and have not adjusted the payment terms. They have ignored my calls! I hired Window World of Raleigh to install windows and doors in my house. They were supposed to install the windows a month later, but they installed them 3 months later. When they finally came, they brought the wrong window, which was the most visible one in my living room. They installed it anyway and told me they would switch it in 2 weeks. They made me sign the contract as if the window installation was completed, but they never called me back. I had to waste my time calling and texting them, and every time I called, I got different answers. They showed up 6 months later to fix the cracks they left when they installed the window and door, but all the caulking around the window was cracked. They told me they would come back in a week, but it took over 1 month and they still did not bring the door. I also have some windows that need repair, and their project manager told me he would personally come and fix them, bring the door, fix my window, and fix the lock door knob on my sliding door. They were supposed to bring me a refund receipt for the wrong window that I paid for but did not receive. I called and texted them several times, but they ignored me. They dodged my calls, and my calls were not transferred. Later, with the Covid excuse, they completely ignored me. I told the contractor Jason that I was going to take them to court because I was tired of texting and calling them, but instead of fixing the problem, he got upset and told me he would not talk to me if I threatened to bring them to court. I reached out to the project manager, but still no refund, no door, no knob, and my window has not been fixed. On top of that, they told me I would not start paying until the job was completed, but I was forced to start paying in August when they finished installing in February. I asked the bank to dispute it because I said I would not pay until they finished the job, but they responded with a lie that they had finished installing the windows and told the bank it was a service issue, but still no action. I have been overly patient, and no one has contacted me, and still no answer from them. My request and demand is for them to finish their job, refund me the overcharges, give me a 50% discount for the door and damaged window, discount the door knob, and discount the money they owe me. This business should not be in business because if they did a poor job on my windows, how are they going to fulfill the lifetime warranty? I am supposed to have a lifetime warranty on my windows. I can't even imagine how they are going to act if any of my windows crack or whatever. They have made me feel unappreciated, insulted, and unappreciated. This is despicable.
