I bought a Wyndham Rebecca tub through wayfair in august 6 2020. It had a crack in it and Wyndham replaced it on its extended warranty of 2 years...here I am now June 2024 with my current replacement tub faulty and needing it removed in my bathroom for a Reno to make the washroom a "wet" (sealed walls and floor). My contractor removed the tub and we discovered bubbles in the tub finish. so I contacted Wyndham once again within the two extended warranty time to replace this one as well
The tub was moved outside while the work was being completely rather than leave it where it could be damaged and to allow space in a crowded room.
I was in touch with Wyndham and send them a picture of the finish bubbling...they asked for another one and as soon as they saw that it was outside by the background...they denied my claim and now
through my connection with Misa Favela at Wyndham I am receiving no reply now.
The tub was covered and the weather is mild... why was this damage claim not valid? was I to have worked around the tub?
I originally bought the Wyndham tub because of the name and the quality associated with it...There was less expensive tubs available to me at the time.
Claimed loss: I paid 1699 CDN for the tub
