The email that arrives in you inbox looks very official. It carries the familiar Yahoo! Mail logo and has a heading that warns, "Your Account Will Be Blocked."

Some computers come with a yahoo toolbar already installed, mine did unfortunately. You may have had messenger set to auto-update, therefore it installs what it sees as important, not you. Either way, it is very easily removed and preferences tweaked so it doesn't auto update anymore.

I typed a really long letter on my Yahoo account.

Then I went to my address book real quick to make sure my address I was sending to was correct.

When I came back to the letter it was gone.

It was completely like deleted. I am so mad because the email took forever to write and I have no time to write it all over again.

Again i cant access my mail, error code 15. I see from other blogs that this is becoming common and some are being charged £15 by yahoo to sort this out. Is this a scam by yahoo.

Yahoo arbitrarily accused me of spamming and blocked my account from sending emails. This was done with no warning or discussion. I was sending an email to 20 family and friends before I ship out to Afghanistan. I leave tomorrow morning and will not be able to log in for some time. I tracked down a help desk phone number, but they refused to help and directed me to an online tech-help form. The tech-help said it would take more than 24 hours. I ship out in 20 hours. I explained this to the customer service person and they still refused to help.

I am sick and tired of clicking on an interesting video from the Yahoo home page, then listening to the stupid ad and then being told that the video is no longer available.
From now on I am going to write to the complaint departments of the products advertised and tell them that I am not buying their product until Yahoo provides viewing of the video associated with their ad.
This is a cheap advertising gimmick used by Yahoo to show "clicks" I am sure to their advertisers while the user doesnt get the product they came to see (the video). Very deceptive and abusive. Not buying the advertisers service may stop Yahoo from this practice.
If the video is not available then take it off the home page. You are not giving a good image to your advertisers.
