This car dealership, Z motors, is absolutely terrible. They are a complete scam, so I strongly advise against leasing or buying a car from them. I made a $5,000 down payment to lease a car and explained my immigration status to them. Despite this, they assured me that they would work with me and that I would be able to complete all the necessary paperwork in my name. However, when the tag was about to expire after just a month, I tried contacting the sales representative, but he kept giving me the runaround and changing his story. He claimed that I couldn't get the tag and suggested that I sign over the car to someone else while still making payments. I didn't agree with this because it meant the car wouldn't be mine anymore, and I would just be paying for it. In the end, I asked for a refund of my deposit, or at least half of the $5,000, but they refused to give me any money back, even though it was their fault. I decided to turn the car in because they didn't provide the service they promised. I returned the car in the same condition I received it. However, they lied to my bank and said that I turned the car in because I couldn't afford to pay, which is not true. I have evidence to prove this, and they still have my $5,000. They won't even calculate the days and miles to give me a partial refund. They are holding onto my money, but I am determined to fight for it and file a civil case against them. I will also report their company to the ComplaintsBoard.com, and I strongly encourage everyone else to do the same. These people are nothing but thieves. Let's all report them!

I visited Z Motors on April 7th, 2022 to lease a car. I decided to lease a Silver 2016 [car make and model] and made a down payment of $5,000. During the process, I informed them about my immigration status, and they assured me that they would accommodate me and complete all the paperwork in my name.

However, on April 26th, 2022, I started experiencing difficulties with getting my permanent tag. The temporary paper tag was about to expire, so I reached out to the sales representative multiple times via calls and texts. Unfortunately, he kept giving me vague responses and excuses, claiming that he was still working on it. As the expiration date approached, I continued to contact the sales rep, but he kept changing his story. He stated that I couldn't obtain the tag and suggested that I transfer the car to someone else while still making payments. I disagreed with this solution because it meant I would no longer own the car, yet I would still be responsible for the payments.

In the end, on May 10th, I decided to return the car since it was useless to me without the promised services. I returned the car in the same condition it was given to me. I requested a refund of my deposit, or at least half of the $5,000, considering the circumstances. However, they refused to reimburse any money, even though they were at fault. They claimed that I turned in the car because I couldn't afford the payments, which was a complete lie. I have evidence to prove that this was not the reason for returning the car. As of now, they still have my $5,000, and they haven't made any effort to calculate the days and miles or offer any partial refund. They are unjustly holding onto my money.
