I am a senior citizen and I had laminate flooring installed by 50 Floor October 20, 2021. I am dissatisfied and frustrated with the laminate flooring installation service provided by 50 Floor. About 1 1/2 years of them installing the flooring, I noticed alarming issues with the flooring, especially the kitchen and hallway areas, namely squeaking, buckling and separation. I immediately contacted 50 Floor. An inspector was dispatched to my residence to assess the flooring condition. To my dismay, 50 Floor and the manufacturer has recently denied my claim. According to 50 Floor my warranty was only for 1 year. The denial of the claim was for site moisture and installation error by the manufacturer. I have meticulously checked for any signs of moisture or water leaks and found none. I believe that the problem lies with the product itself, rather than any external factors. It appears that the laminate flooring is not living up to the guarantee promised by 50 Floor, and it is clearly failing to perform as advertised. I invested approximately $12,000 in these floors, trusting that I was purchasing a quality product backed by a reputable company. As a senior citizen, I am on a fixed income, the financial burden of replacing these damaged floors is significant and burdensome. I implore 50 Floor to stand by its commitment to customer satisfaction and honor their responsibility to provide a lasting solution to this problem. I request they take immediate action to rectify this situation by replacing the damaged flooring at their expense. I trust that this complaint will receive the attention it deserves, and I look forward to hearing from you soon with a resolution.
