50 Floor gets you to sign a contract and you are stuck. My elderly mom signed a contract at the end of July. The flooring was ordered and was supposed to be received by tem by now. They said a couple weeks but she keeps checking and checking, emailing and calling. Every week they say it's still not in, should be in next week. Same thing every week. Here it is over a month later and nothing! We wanted this done by mid September! We should have gone with Empire! Ridiculous.
Desired outcome: Please install this flooring soon! Make it right! Either that or give the option to cancel since you don't obviously have it!
50 Floor - Wood floors
This is the most unorganized company I have dealt with. We ordered new wood floors to be installed in our guest bedrooms in may 2021. The sales rep came out and seemed great. He showed us some wood floor samples and we decided on one. We were told the floors would arrive in 2-3 weeks and we could expect our floors to be installed in early july. Mid july comes and we have not heard from 50 floor. So we call and are told the floors are not in yet and it would be early august. Once again, early august comes and goes and no communication from 50 floor. We call and they say our floors will be in in late august. This happens over and over with no communication from them until we are promised our floors will be in on november 3rd. Of course that date comes and goes with no word and now we are starting to panic as we have guest coming to stay in the new bedrooms for christmas. We call, the floors are still not in. The manager sends the rep back out to show us floors that are in stock. We pick another one out and are told emma the manager will call us in the next two days to schedule our install as we are a priority. Guess what, no call so we call and are told floors will be in on november 30. Today is december 3rd and I have to call to find out what is going on and am told by emma that the floors are now expected to be delivered in mid january. She apologizes and says she feels bad and wants to take care of me. She doesn't normally do this but she is willing to let us out of our deposit if we want to cancel our order. Really? How generous! Wow! That is great service.
This place is very unorganized as nobody seems to know what is going on. Their communication with the customer and with each other is terrible. I would not recommend 50 floor. So we will now have to start over after the holidays with a new flooring company.
Desired outcome: Would like to have my floors installed as promised or at least treated like a valued customer.
