dubious billing and hidden subscriptions
Applied and authorized for a free trial of the 90 second wrinkle control cream, and I carefully declined all other offers. I only authorized 3.95 s & h (What I thought was cdn funds) as I saw a Canadian return address. I received the cream and two other products, moisturizer and eye cream, which I thought was odd, but there was NO OTHER documentation to indicate why etc.
Last month, I received a credit card statement with over $250 charged against my account! When I checked with my credit card company, they informed me that I had unwittingly, because it was so well HIDDEN in Abella Mayfair's (AM) website documentation, authorized to a MONTHLY subscription to these products and would continually be charged each month unless I canceled this trial within 30 days!
When I contacted AM, they informed me that I was under a monthly subscription, and since I hadn't canceled within the 30 days, I was liable for these costs AND the subscription until I canceled it. $250 for facial creams, are you kidding me? Thinking I was doing my wife a favour by getting this product on trial, has turned into a nightmare!
After I voiced my absolute disgust to AM, about their hidden subscriptions and dubious billing methodology, I immediately canceled my subscription and demanded a full refund. They canceled my account as requested and offered me a 'special exemption 50% discount' against the current charges but could not give me a total refund.
They gave me refund confirmation numbers and said they would be sending me an email confirming my subscription cancellation; to date, I have received nothing! I then contacted my credit card company to ensure no further charges would be authorized to AM. CONSUMER BEWARE!
I also check the company's website and they are NO LONGER accepting orders until "our products have been refined and improved"...CONSUMER BEWARE!
heath and beauty
I ordered a sample of eye cream and face cream and authorized a payment of 4.95 shipping and then recieved credit card bill and wow seen 89.99 and 99.99 and then put into us funds, I did not authorize this payment this is the biggest scam out and I want my money back on my card I will be contacting law inforcement about this scam so just want money back!
did you have any luck getting your money back, i just cancelled on my card too, it was almost 400dollars charged and no product but the small samples, i do not recall reading that i would be inrolled in this or i wold never have bought it. In the end i dont not find the product to be all that great after using it since jan 20th.
I cancelled an order and it was shipped anyways
I immediately cancelled an order moments after receiving the email that showed I was being charged for something I did not want or ask for. I got confirmation email that said my subscription was canceled and then I got a email that it was shipped! I called in Ave was told I would have to pay to send it back or be changed over $90! I was very upset and the woman hung up on me. I called back and she refused to let me speak to a supervisor or give me any info about the company.
rapid wrinkle control eye and the sample face cream,
Abella Maygfair eye and face cream has caused a very bad rash, burn like rash on my face and neck, I sent them pictures of what it did to me and told them about the reaction I had to it and basically got told oh well not their problem, I guess I need to see a lawyer, buyer beware.I'm not sure whats in the cream but they have caused me a lot of discomfort. I even stopped using it and reused it to make sure that was what was causing the rash, When I contacted them they said they stopped my order which I never wanted to be a member to. I only order the free trial, but they seem to have kept me on file even though I did not want to be on file and said I only wanted the free trial not to be a member. Rip off company I guess, buyer be ware. Has anyone else had problems with their skin from this cream, It sure didn't make me look younger it just ruined my skin around my eye area and my neck area. I do not use a lot of makeup or creams so I was shocked to find this product that said it was all natural and good is not natural and its harmful. I feel very frustrated and am upset they are just brushing off what their product did to me.
This is scam! Abella Mayfair and its owers and sale people are insane to rip off people like this. They are nothing but a handful of thieves stealing money from consumers's master card. Government consumer protection should stand up and investigate Abella Mayfair as there are hundreds of people got scammed by this group of thieves. Their business practice should be condemned and be stopped so as to protect our ocnsumers rights!
any one do a google search on " review on abella Mayfair" or " complaint board Abella Mayfair", you will find tons of complaints about Abella Mayfair, I just wonder how come no relevant government authorities to get involved and investigate their scam business practice. every day there are consumers fall into their scam tricks and have night mare with these crooks... I feel sorry for our consumers and myself as we are also one of those victims... and had a long hard battle with these crooks at Abella Mayfair.
cosmetics / unauthorized credit card charge
On January 17, I ordered a sample of a cosmetic for which I paid 4.95 GBR shipping only, and the order came through my credit card as Healthecream with a number [protected], which may be their telephone number.
On the same date. I order a different sample from the same company for which I paid 3.95 GBR, and the ore showed up on my credit card as Skinlabs, in London.
I authorized no other charges or orders whatsoever.
However on February 7, Skinless charged 99.95 GBRE against my card, and Healthecream charged 89.95 GBR against my card on February 9
No additional products have been shipped to me, despite the charges on my credit card.
I have been unable to use all the sample that was sent, as it has irritated my skin.
90 second rapid wrinkle control-/unauthorized credit card charges..
Applied and authorized a free trial of the 90 second wrinkle control cream. I carefully declined all other offers. I only authorized 3.95 s & h (What I thought was cdn funds) as I saw a canadian return address.. Received my cream while I was away on holidays so did not try it right away. When I did try it, it burned my skin around my eyes so discontinued use... I got my mastercard bill for the free trial in early feb 2017 and noticed a different name (Pearlskintoday. com) and a texas phone number next to the transaction... And paid it as it was the amount I agreed to but in us funds... And never thought any more about it till I got my new mastercard bill yesterday, march 1st, 2017. And the same company from texas (Pearlskintoday. com) charged my credit card 99.95 us funds which changed to 134.22 cdn. I did not agree to this. I called the phone number [protected] on the abella mayfair website and spoke with george id #00195 at 8pm my time. He explained that after 14 day trial, if I did not phone to cancel, I would be charged the full amount for the little tube of product (Which I can't use anyway). He said it was under the terms & conditions clause-which I might add is in extremely small print... It would save everyone alot of time and trouble if the terms and conditions were clearly presented in full... Where you are signing up for the free trial, not hiding under some obscure little title. He did offer me $40 us back on my card and cancelled my subscription right away.. Not happy it is not more of a refund but it better be on my credit card in 2-3 business days as promised. Beware everyone...
is a non controlled products, sts resultats are not verifiable, it detourne the law to rip off people, as it orders it for you from USA and UK and it also charges you the difference of exchange

unethical behavior
On january 16 2017, I accept to receive 2 free samples of anti-wrinkle cream on an internet pub. It was supposed to be canadian products, and the only thing I was supposed to pay was the delivery fay.
On february, I received my credit card account and found one charge of $134.22 and a second one of $121.55 with the same company but different name of products than my supposed free samples.
The lady who answer me, at my credit card company, explained that I was supposed to return the product within 14 days if I don't want the products. What I did not do, because it was supposed to be free samples... And she told me that the two amounts were for the product I had already received. Suppose to be free or not ?
She told me, that they were legit because there was a note explaining this somewhere, and obviously, I did not see that note. As you can see, i'm not perfectly bilingual so... She said to me that there was a lot of people complaining about that
I called directly at the company with the canadian phone number on the label of the product. The lady who answered said that they will take my name away from the list and they will give me a refund of $100. Only. That I agree, not without arguing, but it was the best she can do. I think I deserve a full refund because the situation is not clear and also because the description of the 2 samples and the products they charge me without my approuval don t have de same description.
After the phone calls, I realised that the charge on my account was in american dollars ! How come ? It supposed to come from ontario.
So it looks to me that it is a good way of abusing people. I sure hope someone will be able to stop them.
maximum moisture 24 hours day/night cream & 90 second rapid wrinkle control
I ordered the above two items on line as a free sample to only have to pay shipping & handling charges. I received the two items & a short time latter received my Mastercard statement. Firstly these items were supposedly shipped from North York Ontario yet my charges on my mastercard were over $300.00 US. How is that & these items were to be a free sample yet was charged over $300.0 in US currency.
This is most definitely a Rip off company who puts you on an automatic shipping & if you don't call in 14 days from date of your order, you are charged their FULL price of the products.
I did not like one of the products & called them to return the product for a refund however, they said they would not refund me any money
unauthorized credit card charges / unethical behaviour
On Dec 22 I ordered a 'free' sample of wrinkle cream and was charged for shipping and handling ($8.08 Cdn), which I agreed to and received a 5 ml tube of said cream. While ordering my 'free sample' I carefully refused ALL the rest of the offers this website very sneakily added to your 'checkout procedure', stating NO THANKS to each and every item that came up. On Jan 3, 2017 I was charged $137.22 on my credit card (I noticed this on Jan 13th when my statement was rec'd) - right away I contacted the company and that's when the real fun happened. I sent at least a dozen emails and was responded to each one with a template email response never by the same person - all stating that I received the 'items' ordered and didn't cancel within 14 days, so the best they could do was offer a $50.00 refund. After 6 weeks of emails and not getting any other answer I finally today accepted the 50.00 refund. So in essence, I was charged 146.22 for a 5 ml tube of wrinkle cream - because I accepted a 'free sample'... this is a scam if ever there was one. The joke is all the emails come from Customer Service, but there is NO Customer Service for this company or product. And surprise their website states product is discontinued while they enhance their product!
I just sent an email - same thing happened with unauthorized credit card charges for the TRIAL!
A total scam... same thing happened to me...
criminal customer service
Your cruel horrible company stole money from me! I sent away for a free face cream sample and I gave you my credit card number for the shipping charge. I received two creams - your anti-wrinkle and maximum moisture cream - but I only wanted the moisture cream. But you charged my credit card for $5.34 on jan 17 for the anti-wrinkle cream - which I never ordered, and then you charged me $135.38 on feb 6 and $121.43 on feb 9 - and I never ordered anything.
You stole $262.00 off my credit card! That is a criminal offense and I have already reported you to the local police, the rcmp and my bank and the credit card company! I will be talking tomorrow to the media and I will make sure that the whole world knows about your criminal activity!
I am a senior on a fixed income and you stole $262 from me! You are pond #### and savages! I am lodging a lawsuit against your company and I am charging you with a criminal offense!
I want my money back! I want you to credit that $262.15 back on to my credit card now!

sample skin care and pureskin products
On Jan14/2016 I sent shipping and postage consisting of 3.95US$ and 4.95US$ respectively for 2 FREE sample products from this company.
However on Feb 5/2017 I was further billed 99.00US and 89.00US$ for the same 2 products. In the online advert it said the samples were "FREE" so long as I covered postage ..
This was a scam and want to know what I can do to recover these secondary charges to my Credit card
Details as follows original order #s were 899833 and 899844

abella mayfair

When I called to them, I was told the only thing that they could do for me was cancel my account and refund e all money they charge me on my Master Card. This is not acceptable! They refund me only $.50.00 two times .Where is my rest money .I want to inform all people be awere that people that still our money
unauthorized credit card charges
Back around january 15, 2017, I ordered via order #907910 a "sample" of abella mayfair product "90 second rapid wrinkle control". I received it in the mail shortly after along with a charge to my credit card of usd $3.95. I made no further order for any product, nor did I authorize further charges therefore on my credit card, yet I find on my february statement a charge from you of usd $99.95.
I want these charges removed in the form of a refund, and an explanation of the error. If I have been charged for something that cannot be returned, they ought to ship the item to me rather than me pay for nothing, but I would prefer a refund and would like to cancel my subscription!
I do not expect any further product abella mayfair, nor do I authorize any further charges to my credit card. Despicable way to do business!
I can be reached via email at [protected]@telus.net
90 second rapid wrinkle control
I have received 4 transactions on my credit card that I did not authorize. Thought I was getting a Free Sample - declined all other products offered but agreed to paying shipping charge (thus the reason I gave my credit card #) I received sample and no other products. Just contacted my credit card company and this company just recently tried to charge $400 to my card. So upset that they have scammed me by using a reputable business women's name and making one think that thru a video that she is the one promoting this free sample!
They have done the same to me I thought I was getting a free sample so I paid the $6 shipping fee and waited for my sample, they also e-mail me letting me know that they have received my shipping payment on the 1/11/17 then on the 16/11/17 I had received my 15ml skin cream, but on that same day they had taking $145 from my bank, so I e-mail them and they had told me because I didn't cancelled out for my next cream that they took the money out, where I was only wanting the free sample there was nothing saying that I had to join so yeah they sux don't get anything from them even if they say its for free they lie not a happy mother
filing a report with the police on abella mayfair
I have been charged innumerous times on my visa for transactions I did not authorized. I agreed to pay $14.00 for a sample, and declined every offer to buy a full size product. I have returned the sample and now I have been told by agent Tony #52682 that he will only refund me $39 and $49 USD. When I originally called to complaint the agent Katie #7290642 told me all would be refunded. To top it all I have not received any products in Jan or Feb 2017. I asked agent Tony for the manager and he said the mgr is out of town, than I asked for their Office of the President/Complaint line/Ombudsman Office address/ they said they don't have it. I requested for a copy of my file, transactions, shipments and notes, he said he will email to me today. I am taking all of this to the police station
TODAY.
Same happened to hundreds of people in the US and Canada.I am in Quebec, Canada and was able to reach AN AGREEMENT IN WRITING WITH 6-7 DIFFERENT people. They will refund $80 of an unauthorized charge of $200.
They cancelled my account and I am anxious to see this $80 refunded.
Mastercard does not help, as apparently I failed to cancel further charges and shipments.I never did agree to any other conditions, just bought the FREE TRIAL.
However MC gave me 2 # to reach the company and I was able to talk to a person even on a Saturday.

I also tried the samples and then was charged $134.02 on February 3, 2017 for "Healthy Skin" and on February 4, 2017 for $120.61 for "Healthy Face." When I called customer service and asked about these charges I was told that I had 14 days to trial the product and then the full price was charged to my credit account. I asked him what the product was called and he told me that it was Abella Mayfair. It seems like a con job especially when the credit card charge doesn't call it Abella Mayfair but something different. He told me that the best he could do for me was to credit me back $100.00 US Dollars and cancel my account. A con job for sure. NOT HAPPY.
misled re what I was agreeing for in a product sent to me
I agreed to receiving a sample of a face cream and wrinkle cream. I was only to pay shipping charges ($6.00). I just found out they charged my credit card for $134.38 and $120.59 for something I didn't agree to. It is also listed under a new name Webskincarenow.com and Gloriousyoungeyes.com. I never saw these names just Abella Mayfair. I want a refund on both products as I just received the sample. The amount on card was dated Jan. 30 and Feb 1, 2017.
I was charged for the sample being shipped on Jan. 10, 2017. I feel they were very misleading as I said no to every other product and just agreed to being sent the sample.
same scam for me, the advertisement said only pay shipping for this anti-wrinkle cream and then 14 days later CLEARFACENOW.COM and GLORIOUSYOUNGEYES.COM charged me full price for the products 200 USD. When i complained they only gave back 70USD. EEErr so upset.
Abella Mayfair is MISrepresented as an anti-aging treatment that can promote a healthy appearance in your skin without the need for invasive injections or surgeries. It is meant to be used regularly through application to your face after washing and drying. The product is sold directly from the manufacturer, UNDER VARIOUS NAMES in a “trial and autoshipment” way – YOU PAY $3.95 to enroll in the program and receive a month’s supply of the product. YOU WILL THEN BE BILLED IN US FUNDS $99.95 per month and sent an additional month’s supply each month (BUT YOU WON'T GET ANYTHING AT ALL).
abella mayfair
This company is a scam, should be forbidden in the shopping world! And the products are garbage.
I ordered 2 free sample from there website and pay shipping charges for USD$9 on Jan 22, 2017. On February 12 they charged me another USD$190.
I called them and they said because I did not stop the membership in 14 days I will be automatically charged and they will not taking any product back. I was trapped. There was no warning at all for this type of terms and conditions.
Is anyone how to report this type of matter to the police and get them arrested?
wrinkle cream / maximum moisture
The product is garbage and I would like my money back in addition to the 100 plus they took from me with no notification or anything as to why I am being charged that much for a sample . I want my money back, i'm going to sue you if i don't get it back. You have no right to take people's hard earned money and not notify them. With all the complaints i'm pretty sure something needs to happen NOW. Thank you.
abella mayfair, platinumfacecare, eyecream
"free samples" scam from abella mayfair and unauthorized charges.
I live in deux-montagnes, québec, and on dec. 27, 2016, I ordered free samples of the miracle products from abella mayfair which were featured on the dragons' den program in canada.
I did receive the samples and was charged for the shipping on my credit card in january.
To my surprise, I was again charged for 2 different products (Which I never received) in february from a company called "platinumfacecare. com" for 133.24$ ca and from eye cream for 119.91$ ca. I immediately called my credit card company and they were very helpful. They explained that the samples ordered and "not really free", and that when you order them, you "subscribe" to receiving and being charged for products every month. They helped me find how to cancel that so-called subscription by e-mail for platinumfacecare. com at "[protected]@platinumfacecare. com" which I did immediately (But I fear the charge will continue to appear on my credit card). As for the eyecream company, there was a phone number next to the name on my credit card statement so I called them and I guess I got lucky because I spoke with an actual person. She rudely explained that the samples were not really free and that if we had not cancelled within the 14 days, they were charged automatically, and would be charged every month. I was livid! I clearly said that I wanted to cancel this "subscription" and never be charged again. I also asked for an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation (Again, I fear this is not going to happen).
Unfortunately, my credit card company could not cancel the charge but they sent me forms contesting the charges to see if we could do something about it.
A word of caution to all ! Never believe the "free sample" scam. It is not free!
Make sure to read all the terms and conditions of every such offer before you sign up.
It is a shame that the producers of the dragons' den did not do their research into this company before hand and allowed this less than honest company to participate on the program.
To say the least, these are very shoddy business practices and should not be allowed. False advertising comes to mind!
Now I want to make sure that no more charges will appear on my credit card and that the ones that are there will be cancelled.
Thank you
