Salary transfer account
Dear All,
I hold a salary transfer account with ADIB for the last couple of months and was hardly using the account . For a change i decided to transfer some amount to a friends account by using the banks online services. Transfer was done successfully but to my surpeise the next day when i was in the office working i recieved a message for an AED 250 transaction, immediately i called the ADIB customer service number and compained of the fraudalent transcation, to my surprise the person handling my call was not interested to lodge a compain and kept saying that as per the bank it is not a fraudalent transaction. After expalining the call center executive that im at office so definately i have not swiped my card and if it is an online transcation i never recieved an OTP so how did the transaction go through ? the executive said that they can lodge a compain only after 15 days due to some procedures which i really did not understand and was not convienced. Anyways after around a month i called again to check the status and to my surprise there was no action taken so far and i had to tell the whole story again this time the ADIB call centre executive was ANIKET who promised to check the status and call me back as he kept putting me on hold numerous times, its been 2 days already and no one from ADIB has called back and resolved my ongoing problem, i am really surprised at this kind of service from ADIB that to in such a competetive world...everybody is trying to save money i understand but imagine UAE residents calling frantically and the person is sitting in some other part of the world and as helpless as the customer.

I am Dr Raja Ashiq Ali.Today I visited adib musaffa branch near Al firdouse complex.i took first token at 8 am .I came for visa status update in bank account.The concerned person Mr.Atef Tamer was not available in the table.he came at 8.15 and immediately allowed a person who came late than me and had no token and when I asked why he asked me to sit since the other person won't listen.he called me at 8.30 and spoke rudely to me when I asked about my delay inspire of having first token.then he started muttering angrily in arabic.i told him I am offended as I did not understand what he was speaking and it was rude of him to do so.At this he threw my passport and Emirates id and said he won't do anything for me and physically assaulted me.other employees came to my rescue and asked him to go away and apologized on his behalf.i gave a written complaint as the branch manager was on vacation according to them.please take necessary action on this rude employee.

I want to bring to your kind notice that i took a loan of AED 490k in August 2016 but had to leave UAE for Pakistan because of economic slowdown in January 2017.
Though i was jobless till now but i still managed to pay one way or the other.
I came to know that the bank filed a case against me in Jan 2018, whereas i secured 3 jobs in UAE during that time but was unable to come. I was willing to pay thw outstanding installments so that it shows my commitment towards the bank before coming which will help me to continue my installment once back in UAE but the bank doesnt want to withdraw its case against me. They are asking for a guarantor's cheque whereas i don't have anyone left in UAE to ask for.
With this rigidity and inflexibility towards me, would not help the bank, myself and the prospective employer.
As far as i have secured a job in UAE and am sending them a new cheque as my guarantee, whats the issue and point of blocking me to enter UAE. Its not fair that if someone has been honest and did his best in repaying AED300k even when i was unemployed outside UAE, why should there be an issue if i wish to come back to repay the rest AED190k upon returning UAE. Plz advise. Thanks

All units kept empty for multiple tears due to poor management and I had to keep paying late payment fees, restructring charges and yet nothing been reduced after 10 years of loan prepayment started!

Dear Sir,
I am sending this mail being disappointed with the kind of service rendered to us from your Dubai Mall Branch.
I was there today to submit a cheque and the way I was treated was really bad. Not the kind of service expected from an esteemed bank like ADIB.
I was there way before the closing time, below token shows time stamp. You can check your cameras even.
As per the branch timing it was open till 10:00 pm.And asking us to to leave was not the least we would expect when we are celebrating Year of Tolerance. We come to this country with an intention of making money and time is money. I am sure that ADIB has opened the branch till the late hours for supporting this purpose.
I request you sir you take action against such customer service staff who do not have the basic sense of servicing.

unauthorized use of personal account-fraud dispute

My name is Musheer Ahmad and I have my account in ADIB bank at Al Aswaq Mall in Al Warqa. On date 28 December i have notice that someone did online shopping from my account without my concern on the 28 December and i didn't get any notification in my message box that some transactions is happening from my account. I complaint and report timely to call center and Branch and i met with branch manager regarding the issue. Branch ask me fill up the new form for Debit card and they close the old card.
Branch manager told me i will received all my money around 5200 AED within one month but still passage of more than two months my money around 1900 AED is still pending. i already suffered alot and now i am following with call center they are telling me that you received all your amount and they are showing 1900 AED as credit.
I called call center and i complaint against but the answer from call center is not satisfied and they are saying that i have received all money which is not true.
Please do the needful, i will be highly thankful to you.

From the very first day I opened an account with ADIB, I was one of ADIB's advocates and supporters who would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a GOOD bank. I will no longer do that at all! Instead, I might even recommend whoever asks me to stay away.
The inconvenience that I have and still am experiencing from my personal banking experience, has been such a great disappointment. That is the least I expected from ADIB.
My personal advice to whoever needs a loan, is to way out all of your options before getting involved with ADIB. However, if it is an absolute must, be ready to wait and wait and wait..., have little to no expectations on the time frame and be patient with all the excuses you will get throughout each and every single step of the process.
My personal finance loan amount has been disbursed into my account for 6 days now and still hasn't hit my account till this date! I have been trying to raise a complaint for the full experience a day ago and yet I am still told to give it 3 working days. In my opinion, this should be called "complain as per the bank's convenience" and not as the customer's experience (contradicts the point of a complaint). At this point I have very low expectations from ADIB and wanted to share my frustration with others so they are aware to keep cautious.

I apply for a liability letter from 2 days from garden city branch and today I received it however, I found that the letter includes the total amount of loan with its interset and when I contact bank call center firstly no service I take also they inform me that this is the bank policy and again I contact the call center asking to be contacted from any bank staff who will deliver the info that I want, they inform me that I will contacted within 2 hours and this not happened also I discover that adib bank provide the I score with the total amount with interset which is totally wrong
No help from call center, wrong info and strange attitude as I am a bank staff and I know that liability letter includes the total outstanding now not after 5 years

scam and fraud of adib

I would to like to share the very bad altitude with customers and the scam and fraud from adib egypt to me.
First I talk personal loan in 11-2017 with amount 103k the monthly instalment 3k for 60 month around total with profit 180k I agreed and signed the cheques with retail in my office dont know any contract or documents need to signed.
In 11-2018 I request to pay the remaining amounts early cause I found their is hard way every month to go to bank and pay with this old way. I called the call center and make request someone called me and told me if I want to cancelled the contract! I will pay 102k! I told here I paid for one year and the amount only decreased to 1k? She told me yes as the contract you signed I told here I didn't signed any contract the retail only signed the cheques and this amount not fair after one year she said this what I have do what you want! After this I request from my bank to buy this loan but rejected cause its islamic bank and the contract which shall sign from me mentioned this! I decided to not pay anymore till solve and check this unlogic amount.
But I found will affect my I score and I paid monthly again. Yesterday I requested to close this loan and make another request and someone called me today with very bad altitude called dina ask me why I want to close the loan? I told here adib make offers for loan to my company with 9.5%increase and my loan with 15% but she told me you can't cause you signed the contract I told here its not me and where is the issue to take another loan and close the old one but she also refused I asked here what it the remaining amounts after paid 17month she told me 102k! The same number from 7 month is this logic and if I wait the remaining instalment which is 43month will pay 129k how come if I want to pay before 3 years will pay 102k?
So really I will not pay this time any monthly instalment and will make police report about who sign the contract and will share below bad experience with you till find solutions to close this issue.

I have more than 4 bank account in different countries, and had more closed one, they were all perfect and profisional, except the one I opened with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Egypt 🇪🇬, the worst customer service, ever , lack of attitude, lack of profionalism and no respect to customers. Eventually I decided to close my account and moved to another bank, I transferred the remaining balance into my new account, until now I didn't receive any, I called the customer care manager several times and no clues, Eventually I decided to raise the issue to the central bank, waiting for reply.

I want to make a complaint against ADIB Utility payment and service. I paid for SEWA on 28th February and until 3rd March the payment wasnt reflecting in SEWA Account. Due to which my Electricity and Water connection is disconnected however ADIB deducted the money from my card same time.
Now SEWA is charging me late payment penalty on top of previous month payment which ADIB has taken. this is very bad experience and my family is suffering due to poor service from ADIB.
I want ADIB to pay for this penalty and damages caused if not I will be forced to take it up with consumer protection and central bank.

smart money card and account
I was so happy to open an account with ADIB, which was done through online. its called ADIB SMART MONEY. I received my card at my office and the delivery person scanned my documents. he said the card need to activate through messages or online or by calling customer care.
I tried all the options to activate my account and card but failed. finally, I visited the nearest ADIB branch. first of all the teller executive said that they can not help anything regarding smart money accounts. its only online system.
I had tried everything online so there was not an option left. so I talked to the branch manager.
the manager said this is not the account of ADIB and this is just connected to the ADIB. you can not say this is a saving account this is just another kind of account.
I hate the ADIB NOW

cancellation of card problems!!
I'm having problems cancelling my credit card. Two weeks ago (17 January 2019) I submitted a cheque to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) at Emaar Square Branch for cancellation of my card and I also requested a clearance letter at the same time and paid for it. They told me everything was going to be settled within one week. After one week has passed I started to become unsure because I have not received any feedback regarding my credit card closure. I called the bank twice and got different answer each time, the first one told me that it will take up to 10 working days to process everything until I receive my clearance letter, and another one said that it's under cancellation process still and clearance letter will only be processed after it's fully cancelled which will take more than 10 days! I decided to wait another 3 days. When I called again, it turns out my request for cancellation was only submitted on 21st of January instead of 17 January and it has only been processed. I didn't understand why it took 4 days to submit the cancellation but the assured me that by 29 January it will be closed. To my surprise, today (30 January) I received a call from ADIB saying that I have missed my cc payment due on the 25th. I told him there must be a mistake! I paid off everything on the 17th! But to my horror this person who called me was insisting that I have not paid and that I was going to be charged extra because I missed my payment date and was threatening me that my name was going to be forwarded to a debt collector. I certainly did not accept being threatened like that and I really felt the lack of professionalism from ADIB. After that call, I called the call centre again and they said that my card is still active and has not been cancelled, but the system is showing that it has not been paid! I said there must be a mistake! I paid on 17 January! After they checked the system again they said yes they received a cheque on 17 January but it's not showing on the system so they will try to investigate and it will take another 10 days! Honestly I do not understand the delay in this and I need to cancel my card as soon as possible. This is very unprofessional in ADIB's side and I am still unsure about the status of my card until now because nobody can give me a clear answer. All the response I was given after calling the call centre 4 times is that someone was going to get back to me after 72 hours but nobody got back to me at all regarding this from my 3rd call. I feel like my patience is being tested. I don't know what else I have to do to cancel my credit card with ADIB. A few weeks back I closed my Najm and it took me less than 7 days to settle everything. I don't understand why this takes so long. Please help me with this! I have never felt so insecure about a credit card settlement. I even took note of my complaint reference number [protected]. I hope my issue can be resolved as soon as possible.

I would like to share an experience I had with an ADIB ATM in Dubai. After I put my HBL card into the ATM. It barely gave me enough time to take it and went back into the machine. After calling and sending multiple emails to ADIB customer service. They told me it was my fault and I have to go to Pakistan and get a new debit card. A lot of expats live in Dubai. This could happen to anyone. Not many people can take time off work and waste money on a flight going back and forth. Customer service at this bank was absolutely horrible. In other branches they return your card within 3 working days. I hope this bank realizes the amount of resources I am going to have to waste while a simple solution stands. They simply could not care less. I really did not expect this from them.
credit card limit missing amount
Ther is an amount missing from my available limit for my ADIB credit card ..I hve tried speaking to several customer service agent at ADIB but none of them hve provided any explanation proof of the missing amount .. ADIB has pathetic customer service.. as it's 3 weeks and I haven't received any credible solution .. I even visited the internet city branch for answers .. they wasted my 3 days And their response was we hve no Access to the system .. I as a customer who pays all his dues on time .. Expect better service from the bank ..

My account NO.[protected] I closed my Personal loan final settlement on 26-June-2018.I tried to contact many time the representative from bank, who contact me there were no respond from them. what we discuss earlier through phone as well in whats up chat'once i made the payment they will issue me the no liability letter.

I am really surprised and disappointed as I have a platinum credit card and it supposed to be secured.i never give my credit card to anyone and I only used it on secured and famous websites as below: Emirates airlines. Air asia booking.com Cambodia Angkor airlines.
i m very surprised that the bank didn't call me to make sure that i am the one who is doing these very clear to anyone unusual transactions. the bank should have stopped them or at least called me before allowing the transactions to happen as most of the other banks do.
of course as soon as i walk up and saw the messages sent by the bank i called customer service to cancel my credit card and to stop the transactions as they were still on hold.
i was very dissapointed that the bank later on replied that master card has done his investigation and that the site where the transactions are made is secured so we cannot do anything to help you and that you have to pay the money.
i sent messages to the site itself and to master card and i was very surprised when master card replied that your bank is misleading you and that the bank is the one responsible for the investigation and for the refund of your stolen money not master card as the bank customer service keep telling me and i also figured out from the site that the thief bought 10 tickets for an event who was happening on the 23 rd of September in Netherland ( so it was easy for the bank to cancel the transactions but the bank didn't ) and they sent the bank the e mail and the ip address of the thief.
please note that adib bank investigation is not fair, adib bank customer service mislead me with wrong informations, adib bank didn t take any action to save my money.
adib bank is letting me pay 34000 LE for some thief in holland to go to a musical event while i was in Egypt.

I have the isic card and its registered by my fathers number. He called adib call center and talk to one of your representatives to change the number under mine. he has been calling and no one changed the number yet. I kept on calling and i cant change it by myself. My father called 3 times and every time someone tells him that they would and no has done it yet.
I am complaining in regards to the mobile banking

I used the mobile banking app to send money to the other bank/beneficiary. I sent to two beneficiary the first was on 19th (200aed) and second was on 22nd (1, 100aed) of this month. It was successfully transact and it instantly deducted from my account balance and so thats why Im expecting that everything will be fine. So I contacted my friends if they get the money they responded to me that they still didn't get it. So we wait until the weekend over. On Sunday (sep 23, 2018) a 200 aed got credited back on my account and I asked my receivers if they get it already and still no, none of them got those amount on their card. I kept calling customer service from ADIB and they kept telling me the same thing around to wait for another 24 hrs for the transaction. Ive heard a lot of options that they will contact the beneficiary/ other bank if they can check and give me a call but still I didn't receive any call back til' now. I even thought to cancel but they said they will charge me for 100 for cancellation. On my side why I am writing this complain, in the first place it's not even my fault. What is the reason why they made this mobile banking app? to provide an easier and faster transactions right? All I want is, to get/return the pending amount back (1100aed) that is still afloat. I, RAJESH VIJAYAN NAIR hold a car loan under the Account Number mentioned above. As per my Loan agreement all my Cars Registration Renewal and Insurance is covered by ADIB and it was done till last year and this year they failed to do so. When I contacted the bank then they initiated the process but then I realized that the bank has put a block on my car for some dues pending a year ago. As on Today I do not have any dues pending but the bank failed to unblock my car thru Ras Al Khaimah Court.
Now I have tried contacting several people but none could help me or solve my problem. I hereby request you to please unblock the car from the court and get the registration renewal done ASAP and all expenses will be borned by ADIB
Wait for your action and cooperation. In case of no response I have to approach the Court of Law and file a defamation case against the Bank for the hardships and trouble caused to me although all my payments are up to date
