I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

Hey, I went to the bank today and the same has happened for me. Is there any way of getting my money back? The bank really werent much help.

Im gutted that was all my Christmas money abd its all gone! Apparantly I must have agreed to the terms and conditions but surely there must be a way around it, should i get the police involved or go to the website that sold it to me. Do you have the webiste that it is because I dont anymore. These stealing companies must be closed down.

Please help me if you can.

Like many others here, I was taken in by the 14-day free trial. No, you cannot cancel your order. They will erase your call from their list if you call to cancel and then say you never called. RECORD THE PHONE CALLS. They will charge your bank account before your 14-day trial is complete. REPORT THEM TO THE FTC [protected] for false and/or misleading advertising. REPORT THEM TO YOUR STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL. There must be enough complaints of the same nature directed to them for any action to be taken, but if each of those who have already complained make that call, ALL of us will get our money back, and the rip off scam will stop.

If you have any problems at all, you can always call or email customer service via the information listed on the site. They will be more than happy to return any charges you are unhappy with. Please keep in mind, all charges are stated in the terms and conditions.

At the time I made the order it only stated to pay for shipping and handling which the amount total was $3.95 and I was ok with it . Come to check my bank account and the amount of $149.95 was charged to my account without my consent. Beware of Acai Berry scams not everthing that shines is gold. Please I'm asking for help in recuperating my money.

I was just charged $109.90 for a product I never received. The ACAI BERRY WEIGHT LOSS SYSTEM IS A SCAM! I contacted my credit card company and will dispute the charges but since they wait the 2 weeks for the trial and then send out several more before you are aware they have charged them and then they say you cannot send them back, they can charge your card. The person on the phone said the product was in the mail. I repeatedly asked where to send them back and he said, "Oh, you cannot send them back Mam!" This is supposed to be a product made by a physician, I hope he is a better doctor than he is a business man. I will contact the better business bureau. This is an expensive lesson to learn but I will read everything from now on before ordering. EVERYTHING! SCAM! BEWARE!

This company is a rip off...make sure you read the fine print. Just got over $350 worth of charges on my debit card. They said they would not refund anything. I bounced checks because of them. I spoke to the company and they were extremely rude. Please do not make the same mistake I did... Should I even attempt to go to the BBB, or will it be a waste of time? They need to be shut down...

For future reference...You need to send it back via registered mail and require a signature so that you have proof that it was returned. You also need to call their 1-800 number and cancel any future orders and get it in writing or an email. Last ditch effort to stop any future charges is to file a complaint with your credit card company or bank and put a stop payment on any transactions coming from that company.

I order the free trial and now I have been receiving them monthly. I am under doctor's care and have been advised not to take any over the counter supplements. I have been trying for the last two months, to cancel these orders and am unable to speak with someone. I am employed full-time and am unable to hold on the company phone. How can get these orders cancelled?

DO NOT buy any product on-line. I brought the Acai Berry Detox for $0.99. The count the 15 days from the date of purchase. They charged my card $82 and some change twice. I had to curse, get hood and threaten them before they stopped the charges. I only got a refund for one of the charges. I think when I told the lady that I finally got on the phone that God sees all she folded. Next time I will stick with the Vitamin Shoppe or just increase my fruit, grain and vegetable intake.

By the time the 10 days are up, depending on where you live. it may be 14 days your "FREE TRAIL" has already ended!

Don't be a fool! weight lose does not come in a bottle. It comes through good habits and self dicipline. Train yourself to eat better and exersice.
Pills are for patients, weight loss is for doers! start walking, join a team, walk the kids to school!
ACAI BERRY is a money making scheme for a rich millionare taking advantage of the gullable (like me) and sitting in his velevt covered high backed chair in a smking jacket. having a massive laugh!

The call back number so not work, the email addresses bounce back and the credit card is getting heavier by the week. Cancel the card and report the fraud. move on!

Would be smart to goggle this company before I placed the order …I had some bed feelings about the offer but any way decided to proceed to my credit card information …I ordered a trail period for free ( as was promised online), they suppose to charge only for shipping which would be $ 4.95 . Next month I found my credit card was charged for $54.95 . I called to talk to a customer service and it was explained that I do not have experience how to order online ( btw, I order online almost everything and usually I’m very couscous ), it was hard to get any cancellation for future charges, however I got it but the customer care rep told me that I have to write email with my explanations… My advice to you, people, don’t even try this web, you will receive a bottle of pills ( they don’t work btw)and you will be billed each month for $74 … I didn’t receive any additional bottle of the product …this is a scam ! I will post complaints in other web sites too . Net is full of Acai ads, don’t know if all of them are rip off but this one for sure !

I purchased an online sample of the Acai Berry on July 16th, 2009 and was only charged $3.75 for shipping and handling, and was given 30 days to cancel. I took the pills for a week, and found I was itching all over. I was on medication at the time, and concluded that this product was not for me. I cancelled on August 6th, 2009. My Zellers Mastercard was billed $130.97 the next month even though I cancelled, and despite repeated calls, have never received a refund. I have repeatedly called their contact telephone #[protected] to cancel all the unauthorized automatic orders that they have continued to send me. In desperation I cancelled the Mastercard as this was the only way to end their shipments.

This is a US based company and I believe that they have sold my MasterCard number to third parties because the shipments appear to be from different companies, and when I phoned the toll free number, they admit that they have received my cancellation notice but admit that not all shipments have come from them. All this prevarication has led me to believe that there is immense fraud at work, and I am soliciting your assistance in whatever manner you can help.

Listed below are the Companies who have sought fit to send me shipments without any authorization with regards to the matter above: FOCUSCLEANSE, NATUREBERRY, MAXACAIBURNCOM, GOODLIFE, WELLAPPEAL, AGEHEALTH, GLOBAL WELLBEING, SF*MAX ACAI and YV*ABSOLUTE ACAI

You can see that I have been harassed excessively. Month after month I have been charged for a product that I have never authorized or accepted from the Post Office. These shipments have been returned to the sender unopened directly from the Post Office. I have contacted the Post office and have obtained tracking numbers. The total amount of money that has been debited to my Mastercard is $1738.47, all for an initial $3.75 shipping and handling fee. I have also returned all bottles through registered mail. I still did not receive any refund.

I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter for me. Your website states there is no information on this Company. On the Internet there are numerous people who have cited the same situation. I believe this is a scam, and until the Better Business Bureau takes charge and gets answers, a lot of people will suffer an unnecessary loss.

I ended up ordering the ACAI Berry and i cancelled, and i have a cancellation # of 950392. My account was still charged the 149.95. I want my money returned to my account ending in 6432. This is a scam and i have read numerous emails that it was a scam of course after the fact of ordering. I dont even feel like the products was working. If the first bottle is free and i cancelled what is the 149.95 for exactly.

Yeah I fell for this one too. Ordered the 14day free trail. Got the product 12 days later. 2 days later they charged me over 120$ for the month worth of product, a website membership, a weight loss support system. Which I never signed up for. I called to cancel and they gave me the run around and said they would ship my next month for free. I then proceeded to raise my voice and ask for the telemarketing floor manager. I told him to refund my money and stop sending me this stuff. After a half an hour of arguing and threatening to report them to as many agencies that I could think of at the time, he did finally cancel the order and refunded half of the money for the sites and other membership things I never asked for or wanted. I was totally astonished at how big a scam this is especially since it has been advertised by Opra and Rachel Ray.

I went through the advanced cleanse website and got what I thought were samples of The Advanced Cleanse and The Acai Berry. The Acai Berry says they are not the same company as Advanced Cleanse. Look at the name ACOPTIMUMCS. AC stands for Advanced Cleanse. They are the same company and they are scamming. When I called the two different phone numbers I got the same customer service rep. I cancelled my memebership the day I purchased my product. They both still charged my credit cards for memberships and will not refund my money. Do not buy from either TheAdvancedCleanse or ACOPTIMUMCS. They are scammers and should be prosecuted. Oh, by the way, they are an International group so they will get away with any charges they can. The United States can do nothing to them.

It is a scam... I do not even know if the product works, but if it does, I would NOT take the risk of buying from this type people (business). I was charged $79.99, not even for a product but for a MEMBERSHIP? come on...The trial period starts when you place the order, not when you receive the product, so you have 9 day trial period as opposed to 14 days. The customer service is bad, they do not ven pay attention to what you are saying. I was upset becuse I was been charged for air, but still they kept on offering products to get more money from me... Incredible.

I ordered this so called free 99 cent each samples. It arrived 11 days later. Before I could try it, exactly 4 days later I was charged $75 for each bottle. My credit card company notified me that a company from Cyprus, Greece is charging me for these pills. I called the company and this is what they said:

When you hit the submit button on the screen to place the order, it is AUTOMATICALLY the first day you try the product without you having it in hand!

This is a rip off! Does it work? I don't know I was so discusted with this incident that I threw out the bottles.

I ordered the trail acai berry for $0.95 and within 3 days I have been charged an additional $169.95 for a product that I have not received. I would not have ordered that product for such an enormous amount. My bank account is in the red and will be closed and I will be putting a stop payment with the bank. Was ordered and going to pay $1.95 shipping only, after I hit submit it seid $89.95. Call the company and cancelled the order and it did not get done. My card was charged. I called again and did it again but was told I could not get a refund by the supervisor. So at that point I went to the bank and cancelled my card, than disputed the charge. It is under investigation but at least they can not get any more money out of my account. GO TO THE BANK OR CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY...THEY WILL HELP.
