Advance Auto Parts carquest re alternator

I bought alternator paid 350 to put it in my van and the part was no good. I had to repay to have another new one installed. I think I should b remberced for the cost of the labor as your part was defective. I was told you have a labor claim but the store refused to allow me to file one. Stated the place that did the labor had to... however I already paid the labor twice.. I want to b remberced?

Advance Auto Parts employees

Twice on Sat 10/7/17 I went to your store on Donelson Pk in Nashville Tn. I was appalled by what I saw and heard from your employee Emanuel. There was only two people in the store and a customer walked in and Emanuel said, they keep coming in, when the man said, hello to Emanuel, Emanuel in a hateful tone said, what do you want! Emanuel was also rude to me, he needs to be fired, what a loser, I bet he is also stealing you blind! I ve been going to Advance Auto Parts for 30 years, had no problems before, great people and service, but next time I may go to Autozone, I was very disappointed with your service.

Advance Auto Parts employee sharie grey

One of your employees, Sharie Grey, has been sexually soliciting herself to a local business owner to get him to purchase parts from her. She has made inappropriate phone calls to the business from Advance and also sent sexual pictures of herself to him. You should probably check to see if she's given away any parts without charging for them. I truly hope she isn't doing this to all businesses. It's extremely unprofessional and needs to be investigated. I take this kind of thing VERY seriously. I'm an employee at the business she is sexually soliciting and would like to remain anonymous. Thanks.

These statements are untrue and need to be removed! If not removed both parties involved are looking at a law suit. Before allowing such nonsense your company should follow up to find facts before allowing defamation of character.

Advance Auto Parts battery

We purchased a battery for a car in Januray at the Buckhannon, WV Advance Auto. That battery is leaking and causing his car to surge. We put another battery in the car to make sure that is was the problem. It was, the car ran perfectly with another battery, so the battery was odiously bad. We took the battery into Advance Auto in Ravenswood, WV and they tested it and said it was fine according to their machine. We explained that the battery is leaking and causing the car to not run properly, but it may not read bad on their machine. They refused to honor the warranty. Nine month old battery and they wouldn't honor the warranty. BAD SERVICE!

Advance Auto Parts problem with a check engine light

Went to the Queensbury NY store to see about getting a diagnostic check on my car. Check engine light is on. First of all, I have been a customer there since they first came to the area. Over 40 yrs. all young people working. I did not recognize anyone. These people were sarcastic and belligerent. I asked about running a check. Girl said we don't do that. We are not allowed. I asked fir the machine to do it. She handed me a gadget like Inhad never seen(I am 67 yrs. old) I asked how does it work.nshe says plug it in and press the button. I said, plug it in where. Now she gets sarcastic with me. I have never seen a gadget like that she handed me. An older man working there told me where the plug was. I plugged the thing in and a bunch of numbers and stuff came up. Had no idea what anything meant. I then asked again for help and was told they weren't alliowed to help. Could in the old days. No such thing as customer service in your company anymore. I will put out the word to all to stay away from you guys. All you care about is $$$. Customer service is a thing of the past

Advance Auto Parts store number is #09462

Good afternoon,

I went to your store # 09462 today 09/23/17 @ 5:20 p.m. You have employee by the name Chris that work in there. A customer came in to buy a can of paint and Chris said that come in pair the customer said that's fine. Chris came out and said we don't have Chris ask the customer to you know where this come from? The customer said no Chris came out and said it come from Puerto Rico and you know we not going to get no more because Puerto Rico is under water and Chris was smiling. I don't think it was funny because I'm from Puerto Rico and right now I don't anything about my family. He need to be careful how he talk to customer because we are going through alot . People loss family and there still people missing right. Please it will be nice if you can take of this matter ASAP. I feel discriminate by that command that he said about Puerto Rico.

Advance Auto Parts service and warranty products

09/21/17 around 1800 Store # 09438 Oldsmar Fl . I went to advance autoparts to have my battery and alternator checked because I was unable to start my car earlier that morning. The older gentleman that assisted me, tested my batterie and stated that there is 11% but no power. He also mentioned that my batterie is still under warranty (bought it their $175 in 2015) and told me that it's fine and needed to decrease my a/c usage (really?!?). I took my car to autozone in Seminole fl 09/22/17 for a second opinion due to the staff member's lack of knowledge and laziness. They said that I needed a new batterie. Went to Advance autoparts in Seminole Florida store # 08569 and Bobby M tested my batterie and changed it (great service) I'm very dissapointed with the service at the Oldsmar store. I will not return there and will go to Autozone in Oldsmar fl in the future

Advance Auto Parts wrong brake shoes

I purchased a set of brake shoes for a 2001 Honda crv about 4 months ago got sidelined with a medical issue and put off working on the car until recently shoes were new in box even had the receipts tried putting them on no way they fit went to the store and was told there are two different shoes the ones I had and another that they cant get so I eat a pair of brake shoes was told sorry cant help . I do a lot of business there no more went to another store not yours and wow the right ones. this has happened before and nothing is ever done to correct the issue thanks for listening

Advance Auto Parts terrible customer service and knowledge

On July 2, 2017 I came in to purchase two front calipers to be replaced on my 2002 Toyota Camry LE. That wasn't a big deal, so I thought. The replacements were both working well until early September when the front driver's side caliper starting acting up again. That was a little frustrating but I was still understanding as I know parts can be defective. So since it was still under warranty I went to exchange it for a new one. This is where the real trouble began. One of your associates had no idea what he was doing (store #5998 located at 11818 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Shawnee, KS 66203). He first processed my exchange incorrectly. He returned the defective caliper and then resold me a new one but he charged me for the core when I had just given it to him. That wasn't the biggest problem. The thing I am most upset about is that when he sold me the new caliper, he sold me the passenger side. He pulled the part out of the box, so it wasn't labeled when he gave it to me and then proceeded to keep my original receipt. I had specifically told him which part I needed exchanged.
Because of this I ended up having to spend even more money on parts because it took three different mechanics to figure out that he gave me the wrong part. I was first told it was the breaklines, so then I replaced all of those. When that didn't fix it I was told it was the brake master cylender that needed to be replaced, so I had that fixed. Finally I had an honest mechanic tell me it was just the wrong sided caliper. So now I've spent over $400 in parts and labor just because your associate doesn't know his left from his right.
When I went to return the wrong side another associate named Vern, I believe, charged me for the core again when I had the part right there that they messed up on to begin with. When I told him to find their copy of the return he said they had no record of it. So now your store has charged me almost $100 in core charges that I really didn't owe considering the fact that I gave them the core, both times. I think at the very least I deserve a refund for the core and parts that your company messed up on. My family has spent thousands of dollars in your store as well as serveral mechanics I know. Without reimbursement for your employees' neglegance I will make sure I never shop at your company for parts in the future and I will tell my friends and family to do the same.

Advance Auto Parts customer service

Is that what advance auto part management would like to see? such actions? Would this imply good ethics standards between employees, clients, management and even the whole society?
We are as clients expecting to see the normal ethics and a set of standards of behavior that we used to see in other competitors' stores, and each and every store of Advance auto parts including this store.

I walked into the store where I asked an associate to rent me a tool to take out a steering wheel.
She has asked the assistant manger, who told her to give me. a book to look for the tool. I don't know why i have to look for it if i am already knowing what tool I need.
Anyways I was lost to select the needed tool with no help from anyone in the store to clarify, but finally, i selected it.
I had a small question about the dimension of the tool that I will rent so to ensure it will help my mechanic to perform the job.
So she asked again the assistant manager and i was trying to clarify to the assistant manager my request. Before I even say a word, he immediately responded, I did not need to know about your case you deal with it. So i said but i get used to find someone who helps me to locate the correct tool or spare part so not to waste your time and my time. He did not respond and he kept working on the pc without an eye contact or paying attention to what I am saying. He also started another conversation with someone else while I am talking. Very rude behavior and I don't understand why he is pissed to answer a regular question, he would have just answered I don 't know.
I said is this how you deal with your customers in this store?
I will definitely report this to your manager. I went ahead and reported this to the customer service team, who promised that management will get back to me in 3 days. I never heard back any feedback from the management. I guess they don't care about their customers anymore.

Advance Auto Parts lack of leadership 4409 south carolina / georgia

CEO Team / RVP / VP

I really have to ask the question...What is going on in our Company and more importantly this District?

We received word on Hurricane Irma almost 2 weeks ago...everyone knew the areas that would be effected greatly by this hurricane, but yet no one was prepared to take care of our Team Members from the DM up the entire Chain of Command! While GM's in this market were trying until late Friday evening to figure out what to do with our teams/stores (the Governors of both States had already declared mandatory evacuations and timelines to be in affect, their were only failed attempts to get answers from a DM that had already bailed on his Team Thursday evening! All this guy cared about was working his team until the last minute and selling damn gas cans...he didn't show any concern or empathy for a team that would be dealing with the full brunt of Hurricane Irma. Then on Monday 9/11 this so called DM calls for a mandatory conference call just as our area is being hit Full Throttle by Irma...no this is not a joke! A 1 pm conference call while his team is battling a Hurricane while he is safe and out of the State! When is someone going to ask the question of "whats going on in this District//" This guy has no clue as to what is going on ...the stores are in the worst shape of any in the company, GMs are lost and never get an answer from this guy, turnover throughout the entire area is through the roof. He does not even show up when he hires new GM's ...other GM's have to call him and ask him to show up and put me in the system so that I can actually run my store. During our call all he cared about was that us as GM's be there to get our stores open and demonstrate our Leadership in the process...what about our tm's that need to return or repair their homes? no mention of that because it doesn't affect him...he is safe out of the state demanding that we get to work and sell!

Advance Auto Parts cv axle p/n ncv12535 2007 dodge grand caravan sxt

I needed to replace CV Axle on my wife's cars so I purchased and axle and a Hub in Nov 2016 order [protected].

I Aug we where getting a vibration going up hills so I replace the axle a second time order [protected] but the vibration did not go away. I took the car to another mechanic who also concluded that the axle was defective. This time I purchased form Cardone new part.

So I have paid 3 times to replace this axle @ 92.00 each time.

I have read online many complaints with CARQUEST CV Axles.
If you look up my history you can see I am a long time customer.
I am asking for a compensated for labor twice @92.00

Advance Auto Parts ceo & company, their management style, treat employees bad, low wage, lie about customer service, complaints out number positives 10-1

They advertise about how they have experienced counter people, but they all leave, because they don't think any employee is worth even $12.00 hr (unless your a friend of the store manager or other management), their training tapes even say that anybody can look up parts on Advances system, I have seen that work less than 50% of the time, when hard parts or major parts are being ordered, The people that have years of experience & work or auto's, They are 100 times better to have for the company & the customer, the don't get parts they don't need (parts that they didn't need to replace)& extra trips to get the right stuff, So how is that customer service & how is that helping the customer, They pay the store managers $50, 000 + a year & manager is happy camper (he gets bonuses on sales & doesn't care if any employ is happy or not, Then the constantly ask why no one stay's with the company or why they don't have people applying, The screw around all the commercial accounts around, they will start an oil filter stocking program, low prices / the business build the cost in to their oil changes, the programs just end (was told when ever Corp. Decides), the business where never told they pricing would stop) They where loosing money on the 1st oil change, They say it's are business relationships that is like know other & when issues come up, Advance shows their true colors & play stupid or blame on a stupid employee, They are the new Walmart, how they use to treat their employee's in 80, 90 & early 2000's, They think people will just come no matter what (yet they wouldn't be treated the way customers are, lie to, deceptive practices, When I have discussed their management style & what customer is, they never have anything to say, because they can't sell me on that way of thinking, It's a fact if you pay people a little more every year (advances doesn't / the people making 50k & up, don't agree - even though their over payed/ cut throat to keep their job), tell people often thanks, great job, the compliments help to motivate & employees feel noticed (even if it doesn't pay the bills or they don't mean what they said, The drivers for advance are mostly retired people, that they don't have to pay a lot, yet most of the drivers can perform the tasks that advance demands all drivers do, it takes most of them 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot, I think they will eventually have money problems, to many stores, not making a profit, The main thing is their management, they all think their tough guys, they try to bully you (when it doesn't work - that employee will be gone soon, continued employee turn over, They don't train or help with any of that (their training video's is it) Manager of the store spends half his time doing paper work for Corp, making sure everybody watches video's, signing off on company up dates, even if customers are complaining, when manager does address it, he doesn't say it won't happen again or put the customer at ease with the issue (again where is the relationship & doing what you say your going to do, I have had 3 different district mars, 3 commercial outside sales & they are all clones of sweat shop management & no clue in selling, but they continue to send them out, The show up to accounts & have no idea who the manager or owner of the business is, The have no idea what they buy or stock & they don't think it's wrong to do it that way, How about knowing their name, thank them for last years sales (tell them that number), I know this is what you have been buying, how can I help you more & how can I sell you more parts, pretty simple - these people think they know it all & don't need to learn any other way, da it's not broke, so don't fix it, They will wake up one day & wonder what happened, I have found that asking people to do things is a motivator & talking down or telling some one doesn't motivate anybody, So would you treat your parents that way, your mate, your kids, do you want your kid to be treated that way, so he will treat others that way, where has that ever work, besides slavery,

Saludos;

El pasado martes 29 de agosto de 2017 mi padre fue a la tienda de manati, puerto rico a reemplazar una bateria de mi vehiculo que aun esta en garantia. Alli lo atendio Yamil y este le indico que la unica forma de recibir la garantia de la bateria era haciendo un upgrade a una bateria de un costo mayor, . No le ofrecio ninguna otra opcion y el trato de esta persona hacia mi padre fue hostil y muy desagradable. Mi padre tiene 61 anos, de modo que es una persona anciana. El miercoles 30 agosto 2017, me comunico via telefono a la tienda para aclarar esta informacion y me atiende Giancarlo. Este me indica que el upgrade de la bateria es opcional, que si queria podia llevarme la misma bateria que tenia sin ningun costo adicional. Nuevamente en la tarde mi padre va hacia la tienda a completar el proceso del cambio. Esta vez lo atiende Giancarlo y le indica que no puede ayudarlo debido a que no tenia recibo de compra y que la garantia estaba a mi nombre de modo que tendria yo que pasar personalmente. Previamente segun indique habia llamado via telefono y deje claro que no tenia recibo y que mi padre seria quien pasaria a realizar el cambio y en ningun momento se me indico que debia ir yo personalmente. Me dirigo hacia la tienda personalmente y cuando llego alli que realizo el cambio, no me pidieron identificacion, solo el numero de licencia que muy bien se lo pude dar via telefono sin tener que salir de mi trabajo. Realmente un servicio mediocre el que ofrecen alli y muy insesible al hacer pasar tanto mal rato a un anciano. Por mi parte pierden un cliente y les invito a reevaluar y adiestrar a su personal, ya que de la misma forma que me paso a mi le debe estar ocurriendo a muchas otras personas que visitan el lugar y que no regresan por el mal trato que se ofrece.

Advance Auto Parts store referral

Hwy 139 in college park, GA store recommended a parking lot mechanic to me (mechanics who works on your stores parking lot fixing vehicles and soliciting business).They had Reggie's and other mechanics phone numbers posted on a pole in the store. I contacted the mechanic, Reggie and he fixed my car on several occasions. Reggie works out of your store everyday. I'm not sure if he pays for referrals, but he and other mechanics use your parking lot to solicit work.

Reggie, did not admit he did not know how to put on a transmission mount until I questioned why he was forcing the mount in. Well my transmission is shaking and I didn't really have any issues previously. I realize he was making up problems with my car to take advantage of me. This shaking is a very serious matter. I use my car for work. This was less than 15 hours ago and then he cursed at me when I questioned him.

Your employees allow mechanics to use your store and your lot to solicit business. Reggie told me many of the parking lot mechanics damage cars because many of them lack skills needed. Your employees are violating several stipulations in the policies and procedures. And they are putting the company at risk for allowing illegal operation of business without a license on your property. In addition, these parking lot mechanics get free marketing because your employees allow Reggie to hang out in the store giving the false impression he is a part of your companies staff. I have picked him up from this store on several occasions.

Advance Auto Parts I am complaining about customer service

I went in here to return a product worth of $30 that i bought at a different adavnced auto part location and the manger(Spencer) was very rude and told me that i couldnt return this item in this advanced...that i had to go to the same location i bought the product at, i will not waste gas to go to a further location when this one is near by, this would be the last i will purchase items in this company.

Advance Auto Parts 02 sensor for a 2008 kia

On august 23 I stop at store 07529 851 pa
just wanted to let you know that the manager was so rude ask him a question about a coupon and he got real smart with me and the employee that was helping me .I told him you are not going to talk to me because i am a paying customer .He told me with the coupon that was already getting a discount all he had to do was explain that to me and the employee. he had to get smart mouth and yes i did tell him you are not talking to me like that. My brother and i shop at this store all the time but we will not be back until he is gone

Advance Auto Parts I am complaining about a bad case of bad management

I bought an expensive battery for my car the battery did not last long untill it was bad when I took it to the store they said it tested good just needed hot charge over night I let them do that got it back and the next day it was completely dead I had the battery tested somewhere eles they said battery tested bad now waranty is run out and I was forced to buy a new battery if I don't get satisfaction I', m going to file a complaint with the state attoney Generals office its not right to do people wrong I probably will not buy anything else from you all pluss I have a bunch of mechanic friends I will tell them how you all treated me

Advance Auto Parts unethical behaviour

On 8/9/17 I walked into your 3150 s broad St Hamilton NJ Store # 08022, I went to order parts and was being helped by cashier clerk Joseph G. I was sitting there for 20 minutes as he took a personal phone call, In which Joe used profound language in front of my young son who was in line with me at the time. When I asked to speak to the manager, (Dominick) he wouldn't give me the time of day. This is extremely unprofessional as I have been coming to your store for years. This isn't the first time in the last couple weeks I have been in the store and have extremely poor customer service but it will most defiantly be my last. Its one thing to make me wait while taking a personal call but its another to use foul language in front of children.
